No proof whatsoever, Sire
However , it did coincide with a large volume day which perhaps suggests Betaville subscribers were at work . And Irwin, when questioned about it on Twitter, didn’t deny it .....or confirm it !
All a bit strange ....I’m still none the wiser
Bozi, there isn’t even any proof the article actually appeared on betaville. Literally the only copy/evidence of such an article is posted here on LSE by an account with only 5 posts on this site.
I’m just stating the facts. If someone can prove it appeared on betaville, I’d love to see it.
1981, and you know this how?
The answer is you have no more idea of what's happening than anyone else.
Yeah, 'betaville is a respected source' has you wondering which particular broke numpties respect it. Even 'codswallop' is generous for the claptrap they put out last week.
“UNCOOKED: Market gossip as Betaville receives it. This scuttlebutt has just come in and hasn't been checked with all of Betaville's well-informed RARE sources let alone formal journalistic channels (public relations executives, bankers etc). The rumour might be total codswallop, rubbish or nonsense - but then again there may be something in it, so it's worth airing on Betaville.”
When the source of the rumour admits it is just market gossip, and may be ‘total codswallop’ No boardroom would bother commenting on it… nor should they.
Did also occur to me that if a rumour was to be put out there to kick things off, it would have to be followed up by something or its a pointless exercise. Unless like add intimates, thats was enough and a formal initial offer is forthcoming. Nothing surprises me any more with this share but I'm keeping the faith as the team is no doubt on it and someone is bound to want to take this on. Sitting tight still, but like BigDude says, waiting is frustrating and difficult but patience will be rewarded I believe. C
Bozi, the thought did occur, particularly as Betaville is a respected source, but I don't know the answer, unless an announcement is imminent.
... did SolGold not put a statement out to address the media reports from Betaville on Thursday?
Be that to confirm discussions are under way or to refute.
It makes it even more intriguing that volume is edging up despite a lack of SP volatility.
I hope the message that there isn't really much to see here is the right strategy at the end of the day.
Interesting read..

Sid. by your own admission you dont read through all the debates. So I'm not to sure what qualifies you to comment.
Hi nal
I only spend about 30 mins on this site to check for new new developments so not enough time to read through all the debates.
Just for my sake and people like me, could you please specify
what your main point is?
Do you hold this stock?
Can't you see this going anywhere?
Do you think Chinese were wrong in investing in this knowing their awareness and influence in this region?
Thanks
Goodbye and good luck novice.
On your plus side, you can still fight the good fight on the other boards you inhabit.
About sums it up!
Whether it’s the post or what’s between the ears!
Tumbleweed...
Love this stock and hold in confidence that a good return will be made soon. but for the love of God or whichever religious bent you are filter the 3 amigos, or better still leave them to fight each other out of their own paper bags 🥊🥊
Good luck to all GLTH, Au revoir to all...
Me, me me me me.
Give it a bl00dy rest!!!
No actual answer, pad? Thought not. So fort lies and you wade in. Cool
Swing and a miss equating me and NaL I'm afraid. Another thing you manage to be incorrect about.
Shouldn’t you have responded as needabrain? Did you forget to switch?
Bye bye for good.
Pad …. Don’t bother it wouldn’t know how to keep its word.
Just filter it
So your article doesn't support fort's claim. Did he have anything that did support it, or do you now think he was making it up, pad? Appreciate the link but I feared this was the one you were referring to. When will these rampers stop posting unsubstantiated nonsense?
Bye bye needagar and don’t return under a new infestonym.
“the current projects in the country will not be affected as part of the agreements with the indigenous groups and that when the mining cadastre is opened, the owners of new projects must carry out prior consultation”

A-holes' gotta work somewhere, I guess. Let the market decide.
I will leave the board for good if pad or fort can show one one scrap of evidence.
I will also leave the board for good, if Dg1, Copperpot or shipright can show one scrap of verification that they have contacts on solg board.
Will it be 20p+?
No. So goodbye, novice. I can't say it's been fun, but one less pointless ramper is some comfort, I suppose. He'll be back, no doubt.
Genuinely sorry people reading this board have had to see so much of my rubbish today. I'll take the next few days off. If pad or fort could provide evidence that solg are immune from indigenous people's concerns, it is great news for all of us holders.
In the meantime we continue on in our vacuum of actual news, punctuated only by made up rubbish from the desperately underwater.
Happy Friday all.
