None of us are going to live forever, the company have dragged their feet for several years now and have just about ground to halt now.
No drilling, reducing the workforce and doing sweet Fanny Adams else can't go on forever.
It's not creating value in the company and it's not making it any more attractive either.
Stalemate.
I think the penny is finally dropping with the slower posters here, that "we're mine finders, not mine builders" was in fact a snappy soundbites describing reality, rather than an indication of an imminent TO. At this rate, they should have realized we're not going to get a bid this year by... Oooo, maybe next April?!
I strongly suspect there will be a troop on here in early January claiming they were right, that there was a bid in 2023, we just haven't heard about it yet š
If anyone doesn't fully understand the word gaslighting just look what this clown wrote below and look how childish he's always been himself then you'll understand.
DM, there are many things I 'struggle with' with regard to this company. I guess I can add this to the list.
I believe Solgold are going to do what they always said they would do.
We are going to stage this.
Get some money rolling in and go to a full block cave operation.
We can finance this, we have always been able to finance this.
Just a question of how we finance this.
Jezz
As Scott explained ( to anyone that could be bothered to listen) was that we could still access the main ore body, as it would provide an undercut, at a later date whilst still accessing copper (1.4%) in the meantimeā¦. Massively reducing upfront capital expenditure
He obviously said that we can still do this ourselves but canāt believe for one second thatās his intention.
Thereās no way heās in Ecuador for the long haul, heās there to get a deal done.
Either way this is way undervalued
ATB DBW
Good morning Jezzoo.
The reason why I am slightly surprised is I guess we will go for the high surface gold.
However by doing this, we have to do it in such a way that we can still block cave in the future, so we need to be careful where we tunnel, as this may affect how we get to the main ore body later on.
Nerdy I have explained it is 6 years and it is great to see that the 9 year number flushed you out in reality you are a boring troll with clearly nothing better to do than check back on other postersā¦ the word childish comes to mind š¤” once again for the benefit of the board I will ignore your nonsense as we seem to be turning into an informative discussion thread over the last hour or so
Onwards and upwards š
Why are you surprised Quady ?
As you know block caving is mainly a deep mining techique but we have relatively near surface paydirt.
So why wouldn't you mine the mineral with less capex first ?
It also doesn't hurt the sell off cause as it adds value to the asset, it's worth more as a producing mine isn't it.
Not that it ever will be a producing mine in SOLG's possession, it's just a ruse to get potential buyers to stick a bid in.
I doubt it will tip any of SOLG's suitors over the edge but it's a step in the right direction.
I could be barking up the wrong mango tree, happy to be mansplained to....
Thanks DBW š
Mining by access decline can be done in two different ways.
Really all this is, is tunneling to the parts you want to mine, and using a matrix of cuts to blast and recover the ore.
However if we are going to a block cave operation at a later date, I am surprised that we are talking about this.
It can be done, but has to be planned in advance.
Maybe this is another version of the PFS.
Thanks for that feedback DBW.
In spite of the share price, I still feel confident that we are on a positive journey to the endgame here. Exactly what, who and when is the current mystery - but for sure - we are not far off news. Good news!
Interesting to see Scott doing the presentation at Diggers and Dealersā¦. Was expecting Liam Twigger
Main takeaway was that there are plenty of parties interested in both Cascabel ( he did use the expression āstrategic partners) and outside tenements but no one has made a move yet
āA lot of tyre kickingā
A package of licenses (4) being worked on
First Ore at Cascabel requires no shaft just access declines
(Maybe someone with more technical knowledge could explain the difference)
Re the outside licenses all of our focus is in the north currently with a crew out currently working on the recently acquired Cornerstone licenses ( guessing far harder to operate in the south) but no drilling at present.
Mention of potential āfarm in on a couple of these tenements.
Apparently re M&A action itās clear copper is the place to be
Much of the same old stuff but Scott came across well and overall I thought it was positive
Bye š
Out of context.
Wasnāt defending anyone.
You eep making wrong assumptions and then stating them as facts. Weird
Aquinaga. Just seen your post. I've made nothing up. Click on novices name. It will take you directly to his joining date. Your making yourself look silly defending him without checking the FACTS. now goodbye
Aquinaga.
You mention the standard of posters.
Please take the time to go back over my posts.
I've not topped up on every dip.
I've not claimed to chat with scotty boy.
I've not claimed to be a city trader.
I've not claimed to live where I don't.
I've not forecast the sp to be Ā£4.50 by Xmas.
I've not ridiculed any sensible posts.
I've not claimed to be a chess grand master.
I don't write ditties to everything I don't like.
The list is endless.
Then go back over most other posters history, and just maybe you will see who is lowering the standard.
Now it really is time for me to depart. Before I go insane
Stop making up facts
Novice. It still doesn't explain how you've been telling us for 9 years. When you joined in 2019.
A bit of friendly advice mate.
1, don't butt in on posts that don't concern you.
2, stop telling lies.
You will find you will stop looking silly if you follow those simple steps.
Jezzoo canāt wait for this to be sold !
Keep the faith.
How did you manage to reply to my post a minute earlier than I posted it ?
Weird.
On the exciting "imminent" sale yet ?
Oh well.
Just looked at that post in then said āsoonā
Donāt think even in Solgoldās vocabulary soon means 5 years later!!!
Jezz!!!
šš¤ superb answer š¤«š
It was probably tongue in cheek.
So easy to mock with the standard of posters recently on this board.
