Morning Add, a sale will only happen at the right price. I don't think that "right price" will emerge??? If it does I would be oner the moon!
So for me at the moment it's a J/V and production. I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong....I'm just stating my opinion buddy.
Good luck.
Copper, that's a very one-sided interpretation and I would suggest you listen carefully to what he said on slide 13.
Yes, we are open to a jv, but we are also willing sellers. As I said in my previous post; ALL options are being considered.
Thanks for that mog999.
A J/V or farm in is a possibility....if not, we go alone! Some will still say this is BS......and that's after hearing it from the horses mouth! Arren Wirwin is misleading a few folk here.....shame on him.
Thanks, mog.
The comments relating to slide 13 are interesting. It's blindingly obvious that ALL options are still very much on the table.
In the interests of balance, I do wonder why the Chinese, by implication, are still described as 'tyre kicking'. Presumably they had a clear idea of what they were doing when they first invested and they've had access to the data room for nearly 12 months. So the question is ; what's holding them back? They quite obviously didn't invest simply to have a punt.

Novice. I feel I must respond to your latest blockbuster.
your claim to have said 9 years with the purpose of trying to flush me out.highlights your
complete life of fantasy. you was as usual caught out spouting
a complete fabrication, it took appx 3 minutes to show you for
the Walter Mitty you are .
and quads on a further note, having just read your latest attempt to impress.
is there anything your not an expert on
I don't remember asking for a performance review, anon, but thank you, I think? 🤷♂️
You do you sweetheart x
AgArCu, I've stood reading your absolute garbage for as long as I can stand.
You might think you're clever. Or perhaps you think you're funny.
You're neither, trust me and you're just another one to filter, which is sad, because you do have a contribution to make.
Take the trying to do everyone else down attitude out of it and it might actually be worth reading.
Bye.
Ha ha jezzo. I don’t associate with peeps my age either. It’s the first time reading your post that’s actually what I do “avoid oldies “ lol
Aw, you have my sympathy, add. And it was you who brought up my age. Wanna see the post?
It's uncanny how you forget your digressions but try to keep tabs on everyone else's. And it does feel like bullying when the people on here are as thick as novice, red, fort et al
Will I gain wisdom? Perhaps, but let's hope it's enough not to need to gamble on Solg into my 60s
Your obsession with other people's age amuses me. As with all of us, within the blink of an eye you'll wake up one morning and find you've just turned 60 and you'll think "where the hell did that go?".
In many ways you'll feel exactly as you did when you were 40, but there are differences. You'll be much wiser, you'll be less judgemental (at least most of us are, although you may an exception) and you'll look back at the arrogance of your younger years and will cringe with embarrassment as you realise just how often you made a t*t of yourself. And if you have an inquiring mind, you'll realise just how little you knew when you were younger. Something to look forward to , eh?
Anyway, a young bloke like you must surely have better things to do than hang around on this site, bullying vulnerable old folk, nicking their walking sticks and frightening them with stories of impending doom?
Glad to hear it, grandpa 👍
Desperate because, as I say, they post here so regularly and always to tell each other there is jam tomorrow (presumably seedless to avoid pips in the dentures).
How do you know they're 'desperate'? You have an average of five posts per day over the past 30 days - are you desperate? Or are you merely being kind to us old folk by pointing out the error of our ways? I'm sure we're all very grateful.
Ship, if I haven't made any money here in the next 17 years, I'll be realigning my portfolio and moving out of solg. But we'll be earning some healthy dividends by then, if I get my way, so it can be in the mix with my blue chips 👍
An extensive and mixed portfolio but they post daily on this message board, desperate for some immediate uptick in the value of their barely-significant side-investment? Are you seeing it yet?! 😂
Many of us weren't old when we first invested
Agro, has it not occurred to you that perhaps the 'old people' you refer to, hold this share as part of an extensive and mixed portfolio, which will include divi stocks?
Not anymore I'm afraid, still have the same lifestyle I had in my twenties but in my fifties now, I'm an old twot but still enjoy riding M/cycles and driving two seaters with unnecessary horsepower.
I don't associate much with people my own age as it reminds me of my true age !
I don't have a huge amount in here, I'm mainly invested in blue chips. I'd like to see it sold just to get a quick ( well ten year !) lump out of it. I'm a gambler, that's why I'm here I suppose.
Are you a fellow 'youngster', Jezz? Add tried to patronize me based on my age once, and he thinks 40s is young, so I'd guess he's a fellow desperate 60/70-plus.
It is a bit tragic- you have to wonder why these people weren't smarter in their 30s and 40s, so they weren't left rolling the dice on a small explorer in LatAm? They could be a few £100k into a variety of FTSE-leaders, sufficiently diversified to essentially guarantee a robust income... Oh well, takes all sorts I guess 🤷♂️
"old people"
Lol
We don't need to be more attractive to others, and if anything we do now results in us getting minerals out of the ground, it does 'add value' (meaninglessly vague phrase though that is).
Old people really shouldn't invest in high risk stocks like this. If you're over, say, 60, you should have been saving enough that some decent divs will see you live well and leave a decent block when you die. Only desperate fools would put any of their life savings into solg expecting a quick return... Or maybe they got talked into it by our resident, incessant rampers?
None of us are going to live forever, the company have dragged their feet for several years now and have just about ground to halt now.
No drilling, reducing the workforce and doing sweet Fanny Adams else can't go on forever.
It's not creating value in the company and it's not making it any more attractive either.
Stalemate.
I think the penny is finally dropping with the slower posters here, that "we're mine finders, not mine builders" was in fact a snappy soundbites describing reality, rather than an indication of an imminent TO. At this rate, they should have realized we're not going to get a bid this year by... Oooo, maybe next April?!
I strongly suspect there will be a troop on here in early January claiming they were right, that there was a bid in 2023, we just haven't heard about it yet 😂
If anyone doesn't fully understand the word gaslighting just look what this clown wrote below and look how childish he's always been himself then you'll understand.
DM, there are many things I 'struggle with' with regard to this company. I guess I can add this to the list.
