Dont think the 8p shares will be there for long!!!!
In at 8.6, trying to get 3x as much but NT
Fort that is utter dross and shame on the 3 people who upvoted it too. Mather is supportive of Caldwell. You continue to ignore this fact.
SM, yes, it is unusual, but there may be a perfectly innocent explanation. Who knows?
Caldwell has known for some time that he's facing opposition, so isn't it more likely that this has been planned? Whatever the answer I just hope he isn't on his way out. Fort &Co seem determined to destroy our chances of getting a decent exit.
For Solgold to sit on these results while the share price tanks? Or are they actually recent?
Love it. Is this Mather's message to shareholders on the state of SOLG towers lol!
Boiling Zone indeed. Scott is toast.
What CEO tells the market that we are not a developer but an explorer and then moth balls exploring when you have these kind of licence blocks in your folio!!!
Oh dear... time for some exploration... oh... but Scott... are we allowed to drill ?? Ermmm.... err NO. We need to consevre cash and stay below 8p for a bit longer until we can get those 157m shares placed to some folk I know.
TheItalian - as we predicted... a string a news will arrive pre AGM. This is just the start....
"SM, I think it's more likely to be aimed at bolstering Caldwell's position in advance of the AGM."
Addicknt, uoi couldn't be more wrong. Look who's name is all over it. Rememeber it is Scott who mothballed the exploration. It's Scott who has prevented this news from hitting the wires. Just imagine where we could be now had we explored it over the last year!!
This spanks of 'life' after Scott. Thank goodness, SOLG are seeing the light and realising that the market needs to see SOLG exploring again.
Vote for Mather, vote Scott down and we'll be back on track again after this woeful 12 months under the inept CGP boys.
Playbook*
Add if that was the intention you'd think he'd put his name to the RNS. Mather as NED lending his voice to this news is bizarre and makes me think that this work happened a while ago but only tested in labs recently (latter half of 2023, according to the RNS). You can see the high mineralisation with your eyes.
This might be a final roll of the dice for Nick to get the payout he and DGR have wanted for so long. It's either desperate stuff or part of a playback that's finally come off the shelf. We shall see.
Looks like they are aiming for a bootstrapping deal…much like a number of years back!
Nice to see some actual news!
But why now? Butter up shareholders?
How much of this work really is recent?
About ten years ago Solgold did this before an agm. Amazing exploration RNSs every day for 8 or 9 days . Did anything happen, no not even moving the share price up.
So why now and what’s their plan.
It feels like we are showing a bit of leg again.
Are we put out on show all our projects to show what we would still hold if part of the portfolio was sold?
Sorry for all the questions, but after all these years we are all still guessing.
Hope it’s different this time.
I take it as an honour to be filtered by Redknight
SM, I think it's more likely to be aimed at bolstering Caldwell's position in advance of the AGM.
Probably the best gold results ive seen in a very , very, long time!!!!!
Is this all part of the lowball defence we have discussed at length over the years? Solgold 'recently' drilled these holes. When?
And once again we hear from our NED Nick Mather. Where is Caldwell? I find this baffling and highly unusual.
Anyway exciting results. Let's see what the market makes of them.
Only 8 comments.. I was expecting about 100.incredible results
Killjoy by name and killjoy by nature...

Theres gold in them thar hills...!
Couldn't come at a better time...
SolGOLD is looking more and more like a gold play...
Just as it's set a new all time high...
Patience will be rewarded...
Killjoy, it adds to the overall picture and I'd rather have this than nothing.
What we could with is an announcement similar to that of this morning's from Condor.
But unfortunately irrelevant, we all know what is in the ground, what we do about it is the issue.
Pretty stunning results from Blanca-Nieves.
Agree with a lot in this post.
But there is no doubt renewables are a good alternative to fossil fuels.
The cost of renewable energy is failing fast and that does not make opec+ happy who have tried to balance what the world can afford for their barrel of oil and what they can extort from the world.
I would much rather be dependent on a Norwegian wind turbine company than a sheikh from the middle east for a whole host of reasons.
Of course the head of an oil company doesn’t want fossil fuels phased out, it would be like a turkey voting for Christmas but electrification IS the way forward and FF use needs to drop.
Excellent article by Hugo Rifkind in today’s times about and oh Portugal used renewable energy for 6 consecutive days last month
It can be done and it will happen imo
This must be one of the most hated stocks in the gold space, within a precious metals sector that is, as a whole, beaten down and hated.
This is not a Cinderella stock. It is well-known. Sprott, Rule, Casey, Martin etc and a hundred more professionals are watching this.
That it has been relentlessly attacked IS an Operation. Doesn't matter by whom.
This is set up for a Dump and Pump.
Ergo; accumulate.
Again Slug this is why you are the most unintelligent poster on here.
It has nothing to do with CO2 a million years ago.
A million years ago there were not 8 billion people on the planet.
Someone with a supposed maths degree could work that out.
It has nothing to do with what the the CO2 levels were then.
Again you are the most unintelligent poster on here.
Because the planet was in balance.
The ecosystem required that amount of CO2 to support the plant life and fauna.
It was a lot hotter.
Humanity was just getting ready to start as the planet cooled.
The plant life is different today and requires much less CO2.
That's why we talk about the man made element that is continuously climbing.
Since 1800 it has climbed from 280 ppm to over 400 ppm.
You show me any period in history that CO2 has climbed 50% in just over two hundred years.
It's not the ppm you complete utter moron.
It's the percentage rise and that the world supports 8 billion people now.
So you are not comparing like with like.
But again this is down to you not understanding the science.
The man made element has accounted for nearly a 50% rise from 280 ppm just over 200 year's.
It's still climbing because the planet takes between 300 to 1000 years to get rid of CO2 depending on how it's entered the atmosphere.
Our planet can only process the 280ppm that's why the man made part is important.
It's climbing and changing our climate at an astonishing rate.
Even the most unintelligent can understand this
This is why you convict yourself as being the most unintelligent poster on here.
