Bonkersman, with respect, do you understand what an analysts target price is? And how little correlation that has ever had to opening TO bid values? Have a dig around, it won't take you long to understand how off bubble is. He is one of the rampers that encourages others to put faith in Maxit. Pick a company Maxit has represented, and you will see. Even the irrelevant Noront that the rampers so love to hold up (because they don't understand the differences between us and them) didn't manage a 350% jump from unaffected to opening. The sort of increase bubble is spaffing over took 4 bids.
My facts will hurt his feelings, and he'll lash out about 'infestations' or whatever (lazy language best left to the 1930s...) but we all know who knows their stuff and who is a brainless hype man.
1981 investor, I appreciate that analysts can be, and are often wrong with their targets, but, the average target price from 4 analysts is 75p based on todays reported resources and share price.
So one would not be shocked if Bubble was proved correct, but off course he could also be proved wrong, that’s investing for you.
And there he is again!!,like a rash you just can't get rid of him ,thought you'd disappeared down the hole you came from ,hurry up it's getting dark soon ,leave the board to the honest genuine posters new and old
Just so nobody misses this, the ever-clever bubble is saying that he expects a several-hundred-percent premium from the current SP as an opening bid for a TO. Multiple times the current SP, which has been around for months. As an opener. Jesus wept you couldn't write his nonsense.
Don't let him forget this in a year or so when the first bid does come in. He'll still be posting one of his 4 catchphrase ramps several times a day by then, but he won't be able to bury this particular moment of stupidity. It will haunt him.
Eish ,yes indeed nobody ever mentions about the other sites we currently hold ,you put them all together, bear in mind nm said that there was an even bigger tier 1 in solgolds portfolio add them together the value is massive so as we stand today just over 20p this is a screaming buy Eish the £1.32 I might not get but wouldn't be surprised to see an offer around 75-80p mark to kick things off imho
Bubble, these are REALLY interesting times for us here on Solgold! Why have we just kept on rising (above 20p)? What has been leaked? What have we really got at Pornevir, Tandy or elsewhere?
No problem - we have the "Goods"! Who is interested in buying in?
Nice to be a LTH at this point in time, LOL!
Eish,they might
https://www.news24.com/fin24/companies/sibanye-not-interested-in-bidding-as-newmont-makes-final-r360bn-play-for-newcrest-mining-20230411
Just wondering if Solgold will fit into any future plans as regards this merger? Newmont would become the worlds biggest gold producer but would an added 26milOz and Copper production for 50 years entice them further?
Guess the Chinese are our masters, LOL!
Red,chunky late trade there
Bogota,maybe
Leaky ship....is there news ahoy?
Didn't take him long lol!!:):), carry on at your own leisure green poster !!:):)
After all the work was done, the Porvenir study was due to be released, around the time it was shelved... given we were not given a detailed rationale for the decision to can it, investors are left to make their own ideas as to why....
I'm guessing here, but if the results of the study were positive, I very much doubt our board would have just shelved it..
The Chinese will with no doubt be our
Buyers .how will Lasso be able to pay back loans and get more investment to infrastructure? Just hope it's not detrimental to existing share holders but will probably see some deal done as to internal tax/ revenues swap for loans. But they are deffo coming
Sorry if reality sometimes bursts your bubble, bubble. You keep hyping red and fort like the good little boy you are... They'll repay you when they sell their millions of imaginary shares next week, or the week after: whenever it is they keep suggesting the company will definitely have sold by.
Honestly, they're all as stupid as the next, but they really do hate a dose of realism. Thanks for the upticks from people who have engaged the brain of an investor.
Thats better green posts now appear ,what a good balanced board we have now
Derogatory /Demeaning and abusive 1981nvestor at I again i see ,well folks filter him and let him talk to himself ,he's not worth replying too imho
Sorry, sh4reinvest- did you have a point? Should we be worried that solg levels of investment from the Chinese are so small, when fort sees that as key to explorers succeeding in Ecuador? It's a legit question- he just doesn't want to answer because, once again, it exposes him as a deeply unintelligent ramper with little substance to support his ridiculous nonsense.
Fort- remind us how blackrock moving shares between funds keeps our SP down? You've still never explained how you were able to write something so stupid and use it to try and ramp.
Have a day off- the SP is returning to something like the value it should have maintained before Bob proved he doesn't always have the best read on the markets...
Fruta del Norte is not a pure chinese play as has Lundin involved. You also have Codelco in south. The partners involved with Fruta del Norte gold mine are looking to step up production now after a steady and profitable stage of the mine life. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if we saw the Chinese take on Alpala only to then focus immediate development on Tandy/open pit production while continuing to do prep work and studies on Alpala block cave works.
Tandy as well as Porvenir are both very attractive to parties that like a low capex v high Roi.
Block caving requires expert knowledge so 'partnering' can derisk. Codelco are a good fit for Chinese as they have worked together on numerous mines and Codelco understand block caving as do likes of Anglo and Rio.

Not much on offer on the order book at present
Wondered when tweedle dee and tweedle dum would show up... 1981 for fooks sake, shut your cake hole mate!
Cue his partner in crime to show up shortly (Cov-suck-the-fun-out-the-room-Gaz) ... lol
Hi fort. Not a subtle ramp today? Just a balls-out blatant one.
If we follow your logic, should we therefore be worried that BHP own twice as big a stake in solg cf. our new Chinese investors?
Free trade agreement with Chinese's and Ecuador can't be far off imho
yes isn't fruta del nor a Chinese owned mine. with record production so you can see why Lasso might favour them as they are getting the job done where we been Languishing for years now
Might be stating the obvious but there are clear benefits to having chinese involved fully or in part with Alpala. The chinese are already deeply involved with Ecuador and have been for many moons so they know the political cycles and seem to be able to work with either party whether Biden buddies or Chinese aligned.
Thus the risk factor (especially ahead or after a historic trade deal is signed) is much lower for Chinese compared to a super major like BHP or Anglo. The latter don't carry the same weight as the Chinese and tend to be targets or hit problems when political changes take place. Hence they are more risk off as have been burnt a few times across the South Americas.
But the chinese... well... they are needed for the infrastructure. If Ecuador is ever going to get in a position to deliver the growth rates required to simply pay off the IMF or Chinese loans, then they'll need new roads, new pipelines, new port facilities, new airports and so on.
You don't hear of many chinese owned licence blocks hitting any Eco or development problems.
So just an observation, but perhaps Lasso et al actually want the Chinese involved and do not care much about the likes of BHP and Anglo. It's about the future of Ecuador and the Chinese without a doubt will deliver a better outcome for Ecuador than a shareholder based BHP or Anglo imho.
