Likewise flying let’s keep our powder dry and wait for 8 or 9p for no other reason than to get tiny ray to post again I bet you £10k that a green box appears lolzz
Or lower. No bid coming.
I'd take more at 13p again
Agreed! Totally fine if the SR isn't published until mid April or later to give us a chance to stick a few more in an ISA.
Looking forward to the exploration campaign starting again. Future is much brighter here.
This is exactly the time to hold and add more
Completely agree on both scores Fort.
One or two in here think they're playing 4D chess this morning. They're not, but it's an amusing read all the same.
Whilst the presentation at 'pre PDAC' was deliberately thin on the ground, I though the references to Porvenir was very positive which (sorry to break the mould from the plethora of negative views on here or traders playing their trades) but some thought that delaying the Porvenir MRE update suggested a negative with that asset when in fact it looks like they are still very much excited about it. I wonder if we might hear something soon on Porvenir as they begin to set the stall out for a case or value case for spin out? Sometimes keeping some eggs in the basket is wise until other issues are dealt with.
As per recent presentation, Porvenir is already well up there in the discovery charts over last decade and looking just as good as one of Rio Tinto's finds among others. A decent wedge of cash has gone into Porvenir already and we know the chinese were keen on it as it's in their area of mining being south to south east Ecuador.
In other words "what some thought was a pipe dream" could infact become a reality!
I agree Ortherncopper, as addicknt says we have some unanswered questions.
I am thinking that they would answer them if they could.
So something is I feel going to come through in the strategic review.
The same people who have been wrong all along, have brought into ridiculous conspiracy theories. The latest one being we are not doing a strategic review.
Those people are best ignored.
Morning DBW, hope your well!
Let's not forget CGP were dangling by a thread.....they were desperate for the merger. They played a good game and got a better deal for their shareholders, it was risky, but it paid off!
Think along the lines that the "SR" is the "due diligence" of going into J/V and production for our newcomers!
No sale is imminent!
Good luck buddy.
Morning Copper
My point is I don’t believe the merger would have ever happened unless they’d already agreed the best way forward….. it’s highly unlikely at this stage they won’t all already be pulling in the same direction
Some folk need to remember....Scott Caldwell does not have "carte blanche" say over everything Solgold!
Wait for the strategic review to see the direction this company takes!
Look the idiot is posting strong buy again.
Definitely not the ticket this one.
GLA
Wait and see!
jeeez and as you can see some people literally have nothing better to do with their lives except wet their knickers with excitement every time I post lolzzz, sad life of a multi millionaire ?...
Scrapping the barrel there, matey.
Wish he'd switch off, dbw, but he'll be back with variations on the same ramp every day for months and months. Yawn.
Red …….precisely
Just switch off and wait
Novice, of course I accept we've all been disappointed in the past, but we've never had an SR before, nor have we had such a clear expression of intent. As I said previously, the strategy's clear, the tactics aren't.
I think you should also bear in mind Sangha's comments and Cornerstone's before that. I see these as positives, you appear to have lost your enthusiasm. Strange how people react differently to the same info.
I feel certain that, some months ago, posters referred to specific timescales that Solg have to start mining at Cascabel and possibly other tenements. I cannot find this information but as we are not mining at present, doesn’t this make it more likely that a large mining company company will want to take over the asset fairly promptly to comply with these terms
It's only a matter of time now the merger is complete...
On 7 October the following priorities were laid out:
1 evaluating financing alternatives for the Combined Group;
These were announced on 7 November (Osisko) and 23 November (Jiangxi) and completed on 1December and 12 December respectively.
Tick.
That leaves:
1 a spin-out of assets, other than the Cascabel Project, to all shareholders of the Combined Group and/or
2 the direct or indirect acquisition of an interest in ENSA and/or the Cascabel Project howsoever effected; or
· any other transaction or series of related transactions as may be agreed to between the Parties.
Big Bob's appointment was announced on the same day but surely he will already have been working on these options.
It's almost certain that he found the two transactions and...
He is a M&A specialist who brought home the Noront deal for Wyloo, so
Its only a matter of time before there is either a full blown bid for SOLG or
A complete sale of ENSA/Cascabel and a spin off of the remaining assets...
Anything else is idle speculation.
I ask again why would the Chinese State first buy a small stake through Valuestone and later invest a mere $30 million in the second best copper/gold prospect in the world...?
As an investment or a punt...? Nah...
The recent strength and triple average daily volumes show someone is buying...
It's only a matter of time...
Tick tock...
But he claims he topped up "by a few thousand yesterday morning, it makes sense rodney"
Full of sheet.
Addict, fundamentally nobody knows what is going to happen with solg in the near mid long term but as I’ve been here over 6 years I have heard and read the same rhetoric with moments of sheer excitement and great final expectation but each time being thoroughly disappointed… does that answer your question
Morning addicknt, and so was the word "perhaps"
Good luck matey.
copper, yes it was.
