More generally, I would suggest that we have a different view of what posts on here are "useful". Many posts are wild and, sadly, ignorant speculation. Some are inexcusbly damaging .. "RMlooked really positive" for example.
I understand that some of my posts seem critical. But I think correcting misconceptions about how the market and the wider securities industry works is useful.
"Freethecaterham with the greatest of respect as you constantly criticise myself and others and contribute nothing, you are the last person I am going to share my techniques with!"
Fair enough. When I was in the industry (now 3 years retired) we didn't often try to figure out who was buying or selling. The trade data was mysteriously opaque. The best clue to whether or not there was a serious buyer or seller around was the RSP trades you missed. Also we weren't that bothered - we just reacted to what trades we saw, relative to what positions we had. If you are an investor rather than a trader I can see you might have a different pov.
I have been reflecting upon the interview and session. I am in the optimistic camp. Albeit may take a while. And agree kingmaker is Poly. Given the huge swings we have seen, a CEO can hardly come out and be all hung ho. There are enough positive conditioning messages to suggest the wheels are not going to fall off and eventually lifes will be saved by this drug. To those that have been able to average down that's great. Means an even higher return. Manifesto you are always positive but balanced which is good. Plus, others also err on caution. Also, good. Wish petty squabbles would stop.
Monte..
I am not sure if you are slightly bonkers ( like many of my relatives!!!!!!!) A tad eccentric,
or you feel the need to bring some light relief to investors who have been slapped around
the chops with a large trout and needd some TLC..... Whatever the answer ATB!
If there is ever a reason to hold a party I insist you bring Mrs M. in appropriate attire of course...LOL!
Mrs M frantic with anticipation: sitting on our rattan with maidservant topping up glasses I have explained that the cost will be covered by TRI on Monday or Tuesday or RNS at 2.30 on Monday (or Tuesday) and after a show-stopping revelation on Wednesday at an indeterminate time the SP will respond in no uncertain terms and with the TO and JV still to come the cost of a live-in au pair will hardly touch the bottom line especially as SNG might be working on a new variation which could eliminate MonkeyPox in 000.4% who are hospitalized with mild to chronic predictions of progressing to LongMonkey . All IMVHO and Mrs M has again pressed me to answer if anyone has ever seen a building, office, or laboratory with a big sign saying SNG people work here. DYOR GLALTHs.
Wouldn't want to be out of this before next week-end and the Jubilee Week!
Yes a big day the 25th the same day as the Elizabeth line is opening (not Finnised) they have a bit in common both going for about 15 years and plenty spend. Looking forward to going to work on the Wednesday in comfort (I hope) with some really good news to read on the way home, onwards and upwards GLA
Aether..
I was not suggesting SNG know the ACTIV2 results, but that others in the industry may
know the results...Or Topline indicators... RM did not hold back releasing SPRINTER
so there is no reason to think he would hold back ACTIV2 ... I am less worried about ACTIV2
results now that we have the SPRINTER Deep Dive...IMHO they are conclusive proof
that SNG001 works and has a place on the market as a treatment...It will happen at some point IMHO!
I expect ACTIV2 results will be out shortly..Any further delay is hard to justify.... Questions will be asked!!!
ATB!
Manifesto
"IMHO some already know ACTIV2 ... It is beyond belief that they are not released to SNG at this point!"
Activ-2 data must have been discussed informally. So, why not release it? Could it be because it's not that good and they let it through to P3?
"If a TO is on the cards then it will happen sooner rather than later.... If they wait for another Trial
to be announced they will have to pay a lot more...Same with more positive data.."
Yes, excellent points, if a TO is on the cards they will want to buy when there is sufficient data to ensure it works but not so much data that the price rises too sharply.
So, after the release of Activ-2 data, and, if the data is good, before inclusion on another clinical trial?
"My gut feeling is the Board may prefer a JV....Question is what do Poly want!"
Yes, they don't want to let go of what they've worked on for many years.
However, Poly are now the kingmakers.
They won't want to hold onto this for too long. SOC continues to improve and Eiger, etc.
"We need a comprehensive update...Clear vision of the road ahead...Let's see what unfolds!!"
Hope with good Activ-2 and Long Covid data, and inclusion on one or more clinical trials AND continued positive music from the WH, WHO, and Gates Foundation about the need for inhaled interferon we can all break even!
SD - to be fair, you have got 6 TR1 predictions right, but equally as many wrong! Still, it’s all a bit of fun and at least you’re not like Burstead.
ACTIV taking so long to release the data makes me slightly nervous. If it was amazing, surely they’d have pushed something through by now…surely a moral duty to have done? My guess is that it is average and perhaps some positive signs/trends are in there. Either way, we need to know what that data looks like.
I expect news to flow thick and fast the next few weeks. Company update this week followed by AGM, ACTIV P2, further analysis, trials etc.
Burkhead… hope you didn’t get spiked as I warned ;)
Burkhead….always the wrong move!
Always full of ****e ;)
Aether...

If RM is confident of further P3 that do not need funding, then I think we
could survive on current funds with a reduction in staff... But ultimately
the Board cannot dictate what happens next..Any offer must be put to shareholders
and as things stand I would say we are very much a TO target...Poly av. is £1.20
and they want a good profit!! So I am confident a low ball offer would be declined.
But something that shows Poly a good profit then I see that as the most likely
outcome... Just my opinion....ATB!
We need a comprehensive update...Clear vision of the road ahead...Let's see what unfolds!!
Read my dates wrong may 13th not 21st at was between 9.30-10.42 I may my purchase then sold half on the Saturday.
See Wrapped is dropping back….
P.s don’t get spiked on wrapped Luna today, it will drop later today.
And Burstead I hold 23.4 million Wrapped Luna brought them on the 21st around 2pm so am doing ok on them, guessing you were late to the party on that one as well! Oh and did have 58.2 million but sold half on the Saturday evening.
So thanks Burstead but stop trying to teach your granny to suck eggs!
Kevin as opposed to doing what the other moaner do, why not share some information, make a prediction if you think it’s that easy then we can all belittle you too! :)
I would say all the best but as I don’t care how you do I won’t! :)
Manifesto
Comms in Synairgen must be improved to reflect and highlight good data.
The industry elite will be waiting on Activ-2, Long Covid and inclusion on at least one clinical trial. They will know the potential and opportunities SNG presents. The interest of the WH, WHO, and Gates Foundation in inhaled interferons is also a promising backdrop to good data.
Whether RM was upbeat or not is no longer relevant to me. I will work on facts, Weds is important to find out whether there have been any fruitful "discussions".
"We have been promised an update which is what is needed now.."
YES.
We are now waiting for an update on the 25th, the AGM, Activ-2 data, Long Covid data, inclusion in clinical trials.
Then, JV or TO.
SD
You are the man - sorry for questioning your abilities.
‘A true legend in his own dinner hour.’
Shame you didn’t predict the RNS on that famous Monday in February.
I will try to look deeper, or maybe I’ll make 20 predictions and then when I get a couple correct, claim it was due to my superior techniques.
No need to reply SD; I get it.
ATB
Oh and Kevin if it’s rubbish how come I have predicted 6 correct TR1’s in the last 18 months! Normally those who don’t understand or have the ability to see will say ‘it’s rubbish’ or ‘bull****’ because they themselves can not work it out. It’s fine it’s normally just jealously or others who are more intelligent or have abilities others don’t.
Kevin there were plenty of ‘nice order’ and frequently, you just need to look harder and outside the box a bit.
comment....
I think frustration with this stock is understandable..
We waited a long time for the Deep Dive and IMHO it exceeded expectations..
But the RNS did not do justice to the news ...No commenet from RM and
thus the positive news is not reflected in the SP...
However, we have just presented this news to the Industry elite and they can
make their own judgement of the Data and the potential it presents.
RM was clearly upbeat in the Proactive interview and there
have been "discussions" that we should hear about on Wednesday..
We have been promised an update which is what is needed now..
ATB!

I am extremely calm.
Just responding to the TR1 rubbish.
It’s not rocket science.
Only reason to be invested short term is for this Wednesday’s financials and for the A2 data, which should be here anytime in the next 1-5 weeks.
Once these have been delivered, depending on the strength of them, the plan for investors should be pretty clear.
My take is:
Strong feedback - either buy more and hold for the next year+ or sell on news and buy back in pre-further trial readout.
Mixed feedback - sell and invest elsewhere.
This has become a stressful share to hold.
Keep calm.
It's Sunday.
SD
My take on it is the buying volume is ridiculously low; there are NO big purchases!
Hence, why we went from 43p last Monday back to below 30p by the end of trading on Friday.
Maybe your theory is different?
Kevin we are aware that’s all you spout, no need to point it out!
