I'm happy too, SGRO has been quite volatile last couple of weeks, but seems to have stabilised and is continuing the upward trend
Continuing to trend in the right direction.
Thanks for the recommendation, haven't gone into UNIQ as yet but after some research I've bought more property shares, this time in PSPI - good interim results and ex divi date is the 7th Oct, NAV is about £1.50. Surprised PB hasn't been here recently after Segro's drop.
Check out uniq, all looks pretty good with disposal of various sales of european companys etc, and the ty-in with m&s, is for sure a winner. ( PB lets have a bit of JJB on here, enjoy reading the post's ).
REITS have to pay dividends Foreign Money will keep coming in. £ is low, rent reviews are upwards only so property (even over rented property) can be fiexed as a fixed interest gilt with an equity 'kicker' when rents do rise again Leases are longer in the UK than our European neighbours so property let to good covenants is safer/less risk UK has a high population to land ratio so demand for land and buildings should be greater due to lack of supply. But PB I'm always keen to find new sectors to invest in so any suggestions on what I should be buying!? ATB
Now back in the FTSE 100 with more good news.... http://www.property-magazine.eu/segro-completes-sale-of-equiton-11990.html
.... your commercial property stocks now http://www.moneyweek.com/investments/property/four-reasons-to-sell-your-commercial-property-stocks-now-94001.aspx
....conservatively, at least 30/40% Take care ATB PS Still renting, and loving it, after years of making the price of a pint or two. ATB
Short term - great!! But this is going to be "one long mother"!! ATB
Nice to get some cash back! After last week this morning was looking rather bearish and I thought your prediction of a correction in property values was about to come true. But then the government keeps spending going and the DOW storms up. So unaccustomed as I am 'Thank you America and Gordon'. Urggh feeling a bit sick now....ATB

Don`t understand how much more you were expecting. The SP has more than doubled since April, and has incresed from 325/335 at the beginning of this month These are exceptional returns. The SP and the FTSE 100 are at or near post March highs . Give the company time to benefit from the acquisition of Brixton and the general increase in NAV`s.
such a large volume of trades over the last few trading days, and now trading on the ftse100- and not much change in sp. need some help in understandin what is going on here, have only been trading 5months.
and large sells? My understanding is that Segro will be trading within the FTSE 100 wrapper from Monday so institutional and private ivestors have been buying, but there was an unattributed trader`s comment in the FT last week that this would present a good opportunity to lighten holdings. A complex mix.
I would expect a fairly big retrace, will occur, once realistic property valuations resurface ATB
What is going on? When I look at there assets this suggests £5-6 a share though I have no explanation of what today will unfold for next week. QED did some strange things though that was obvious. This I have no clue???? Any one with experience care to enlighten us- please

Segro are undergoing major steamlining after their requisition of Brixton.......this can only be a good thing for the future i believe.
Recommend reading today`s news, just released. Very encouraging for REITS and Segro in particular.
a bit of a roll here up 14p today, this is one sp that I thought would slide after the consolidation how wrong I was and how glad I stayed in, heres looking at £4
entrance to ftse 100 confirmed today for later this month and complimented by good volume of trades and increase in sp. going to fly imo
