JC, dont post the names, it's completely unnecessary, any more than if you gave your business card to someone at a function and then saw it posted on twitter, all we need is a map to get a sense of the movement and diversity of technical backgrounds moving to SEE, I guess it means SEE is a hot ticket right now, but is this normal in Australia? in San Francisco it would be expected for people to frequently move around, but no elsewhere in the US, is this a more substantial indication of SEEs significant rise or just hot swapping to a sexy startup? I have no idea but suspect it's the former
Linked-in users have the opportunity to make their pages dark to me like most TRI Toyota staff do I assume for privacy reasons. The SEE staff I posted chose not to do that so their profiles are public as are their 'likes' for other profiles.
Consent was given imho and reposting publically available info is what we do here.

You make a very good point. Let's protect the identity of the individual employee and focus on the company to company relationship of each employee and what that may infer or not for the future of SEE

Wasn’t trying to make anyone feel guilty, just didn’t want us to get over enthusiastic. Sure posting senior manager professional details no probs, they will influence the business etc, but software engineers/Team leads? Let’s leave those guys alone

Yes, that did also occur to me. I am guilty of posting Linkedin information without removing the identity of the employee. I did feel uneasy about that unless of course it's one of the board members who is generally known to all anyway
Let's be a little more careful about identifying individual SEE employees and remove their names from any future postings.
It looks like about 5% of SEE workforce have worked at Continental (in various locations) at some point.
There are at least 12 former Continental employees @ SEE. 7 that directly moved to SEE with 5 others indirectly. Thales 2 direct & 1 indirect & Xilinx 4 direct.
I think its ok to have a table with a total number of employees from another company, but not appropriate to start publicly posting employee names on a BB
