Next to launch is GM’s portfolio of full-size SUVs, including the redesigned Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and Cadillac Escalade, now available with enhanced Super Cruise.
https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a32974151/cadillacs-lyriq-debut-august-6/
Cadillac states that in addition to seeing the show vehicle, the automaker will also share "the next chapter for the brand." It will likely be about the move to electric vehicles and possibly include information about upcoming versions of the company’s hands-free driver assistance feature, Super Cruise.

And finally, we can confirm that the 2021 Cadillac sedans will offer Super Cruise, expanding GM's convenient, reliable semi-autonomous driving system that debuted on the now-defunct CT6 flagship. The system is also set to reach the 2021 Cadillac Escalade, which was just redesigned from the ground up to make use of GM's latest T1XX truck platform, but it will land in the CT4 and CT5 first.
With the new Cadillac lineup coming out with Super cruise tech. You would assume SEE can release news around it because everyone knows we are part of the DMS system. This is all public knowledge because of the CT6
Updown
I was looking forward to the 1st 6 months of 2020 but the virus has certainly delayed a few things.
1. Car launch dates
2. Aviation commercial decisions
3. Fleet hard to install
Hoping as the world opens up some normality returns & things slowly get back to some sort of normal trading.
Thanks guys. Exciting times!
All these productions just supporting what PMG said in the last proactive video in May.
"The reality for Automotive business is that we are in start of production from this calendar year. So we will see a doubling of automotive revenue year on year from here until 2025. That trajectory is locked in! "
Honestly everyone should have recorded this to their voicemail greetings by now.
Here's hoping terry, been a terrible start to the year. Let's hope the end of it is better... Although it does feel like we're constantly shifting the goal posts...
Phil
Sadly after the Mustang & F-150 launches its looking that way possibly.
So in the next 6-18 ish months how many cars will arrive on the roads :-
Mercedes
Fords
Cadillacs
BMWs
Fiats
I would imagine 25-30 models there minimum, maybe alot more? Iam sure the odd one will drop out of that lot though?
So RNS wise in the meantime lets hope we get some good news.
1. Existing extensions
2. Aviation news
3. New OEM wins--Still Honda, Toyota, Volvo & the like to declare yet + models currently with competitors
4. Fleet updates
5. Stifel Note
Hopefully we on the run in now.....
They cant announce til the car is on the road thats the rules, we get the march on the market. We know what will happen, we are lucky although many wont agree with that. Big returns for all LTH
How did this pass me by? Supercruise is available on 4 of the 5 trim packages for the 2021 Escalade.
https://www.cadillac.com/suvs/escalade
GM have promised to launch 10 models with supercruise by 2021 & extra 12 models by 2023 making 22 in total.
So we should almost see a new model launch every 1-2 months from next month.

Seeing Machines Limited
Design win for next generation automotive program
Seeing Machines (AIM: SEE, "Seeing Machines" or the "Group"), the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, has been appointed by Joyson Safety Systems (JSS) to provide its FOVIO driver monitoring technology for a US automotive OEM as it expands the rollout of their award-winning driving system across a number of additional vehicle models.
Mass production for the additional models is scheduled from 2020, and the expansion represents an initial estimated lifetime revenue of over A$7 million for Seeing Machines
Remind me did we announce any extension of business with GM since the original CT6 DW?
Shame 4 month delay. How many different cars are coming in launches next few months?
Ford Bronco
Cadillac Lyriq
S Class Mercedes
What else?
The Cadillac Lyriq was scheduled to debut in person on April 2. That plan was delayed due to the pandemic.
The two-row Lyriq utility vehicle will be Cadillac’s first pure-electric vehicle. It’s scheduled for production in China first in 2021 before arriving in the US in 2022.
As examples of innovation, Cadillac pointed to the brand’s use of a curved OLED dashboard screen, AKG audio, and Super Cruise assisted-driving.
In a video that accompanied the announcement of August 6 for the debut, the poetic narration talks about “newfound freedom” while showing an image of hands-free driving.
