Fully onside with your views elrico and very happy with the way things have progressed and was just cautioning belgrano who inferred that there was a separate sequential numbering system for UK and US when in fact as you quite rightly point out is unknown
AquaeSulis01,
I once had a chat with Christina Wood, ex OPTI. We discussed traceability/security, etc. I am sure she suggested different order numbers, and possible batches were used for other regions because it makes it easier to narrow trace an issue. I could be misremembering it. We need to step back and allow the company to deliver over the coming months. Sales are from a standing start; who knows how effecting the NSF PR/marketing will be? They have an incredible database to run at, but how many will swap a product that already works reasonably well? Some people may not want to risk change. However, some may try an alternative while maintaining another option and swap over time?
Hello mate,
Hope thats answers your question as to why I topped up. Regardless of database systems...lol.
might not be on here for a few weeks now (thank god some say).
Very best regards, Bel.
belgrano, I wont bore you with the finer points of third normal form when designing a database, but I would be astonished if the company is using a different ordering number sequence for the US as opposed to the UK as it introduces unnecessary complexity. However, we both agree about the confidence that the company will sell significant quantities of the axisbiotix product as I believe the same applies to Opti's lpldl and slimbiome, it's all a question of timescales
Hi AquaeS,
Your points and assumptions would be correct on information from say a week ago. Yes my holding is screwed massively in favour of this stock, and would make any financial advisor cringe.
However indeed things change and evolve from literally hr to hr, so far launch has gone very well indeed...some initial del note issues appear to have been resolved, and also for our more critical area the USA members forum. (Please don't anyone go just on the UK del. numbering system, as it hides reality).
So a potentially major hundle has gone very well. This signs off another "snag point".
Have also received some private coms which wont be released which are equally encouraging, so to answer your question.
I believe the stock has been de risked further, and we are closer to achieving exactly what we have planned for.
One very small insignificant thing I did check yesterday, and happy to share with the long holders here, a while back I knew of a small "strawpoll" of people who had preordered an interest in buying. When I mean small it was only a handful, however I did talk to all of them yesterday and 100% of them still intend or have already signed up.
I take this as a snap shot of what I know, and could easily be dismissed. Some of those people bought stock for the first time on Friday as well, because they like to invest in products that have a income stream, not waiting on others to set the ball rolling. Many very big players also take a similar view..this is whats changed.
Best of luck guys. but DYOR.
belgrano, I always find it strange when a LTH and already big holder of the shares in a company at much lower prices than today, feels the need to buy more on a dip that was still well above the price you could have picked up the shares for just a week or so ago. Like you, I am a LTH but have not felt the need or urge to add to a stock in an already unbalanced portfolio, in fact further unbalancing my portfolio would not be a financially prudent thing for me to do, after all we all knew the launch date would be met weeks ago, there is no evidence of massive pre-launch sales, but we all retain the faith sales will steadily build up post launch and of course there is the safety net of Croda. So the dip is a good opportunity for new investors to buy but surely not a wise move for already large holders at much lower levels?
I remember the Manchester meet, when I was keen to discuss registrations and Stuart clearly was very enthusiastic but deliberately avoiding committal on numbers, just repeating that pre- registrations were increasing at an alarming rate, (which we all know), but then added a couple of things "I expect there will be someone one there now, filling in the details."
He then replied that USA interest was clearly outstripping the UK's.
So if you think about it, subscriptions potentially never cease, indeed the tribe of Uncle Sam, will be more active while the market is closed for us and very late at night, when they indeed have spare time. to view emails and subscribe.
Seems like a very great start and glad I picked a few more on that dip yesterday. Indeed I know of 4 very knowledgeable investors that also did likewise, and are equally pleased with the way things are going.
There will be a PR push by NSF shortly. One of my buddies recorded a podcast earlier in the week. Two of the crew also have psoriasis, which was news to SA and Cathy. Otherwise, I am sure they would have provided them with early samples. Instead, they seemed excited about the launch and willing to try AxisBiotix. This could be further free PS from dedicated podcasters with their platform in the USA.
I feel sorry for some of the peeps spooked out of their investment today. We had witnessed this before when Croda was announced. The mind boggles with short term views at such momentous occasions and will an even greater one any time soon. Still, who am I to judge someone else's profit. I'll be greedy for a little bit longer and be thankful for the extra 10k today.
thanks Elrico; I'll chill.
I see mention in this exchange of "see bottom of the page" in relation to NPF home page. Bottom of page has headline about advance online information - this leads to next page at bottom of which is piece about the gut and psoriasis - most promising. Does Axisbiotix get a mention in the "see bottom of page" link above?
Whackery.
If you pay attention, SA has been exceptionally clear. Today, and probably over the next few weeks AxisBiotix is in stress est mode, perhaps we should call it PI stress test!!
There are no numbers, and the order being put through now are pre-release orders.
Speculation of registrations is futile, as the order numbers filtering through. Let us just allow the company to get on with the launch.
'Whackery' Gone, easy.
Madaboutmedtech, obviously an advfn trollbot. Nobody pays attention to their 24 hour drivel, so they come over here seeking attention.
The filter here works wonders. Highly recommended.
and haven't you a way words words, Madabout? Earlier speculation leaves question mark as to where your "thousands" count starts. Have some iffy neighbours myself Kilgeever - maybe I, too, should humour Madabout? Aside from all of this, I'm a long term holder.
Madaboutmedtech.... well said sir.
I've got some neighbors need sorting out if you've got a couple of hours.
how many thousands Madabout?
“Whackery” you’ve appeared out of nowhere and start slamming the Company. You’re clearly a prize prick and probably aren’t invested. I wasn’t going to do this but my order number, placed 45 mins ago, signifies we are well into the thousands right now. So do us all a favour and **** off to either ADVFN we here the rest of the ******s live or go to the OPTI boards.
At the btm of the page.

Yep you are right Nickjhe, its certainly the longer game that we are aiming for. I believe the real significant milestones will be when those that participate in the next couple of months start to feed back their results to the main forums then the herd jumps in. Certainly foolish to try and gain any insight after a very short time period even before the main official launch starts today.
Great update today, wonderful milestone, well worth celebrating. Congrats to Cath, Stuart and the whole team.
Anyone following closely will know how hard and diligently they've been working on getting a reliable supply chain in place and ensuring a controlled launch.
Expect this has required the vast majority of their time and effort over recent weeks, and now may have more time for the other projects e.g. Sederma. Maybe an update on Monday :)
GLA, trader or investor, although wouldn't want to be shorting this when the Sederma RNS lands!
I wouldn't allow yourselves to get too bent out of shape re SP fluctuations. I watched the Investor Meet Company the other day and I was very impressed by Stuart's objective and considered go to market strategy. Having had exposure to pharma and med device regulatory challenges in a past life, the company's initial focus on less regulated markets should make it easier to build scale and revenue needed to tackle the more onerous reg requirements of more heavily regulated industries. Just meeting pharma labelling and packaging regs is a huge obstacle to overcome. Needless to say, I'm now invested.
In any case, if you think you're having a red day on here, come and see what's going on for us invested in Open Orphan at the moment ;-)
in your camp Giraffe; what's not surprising is that a market that has factored in the daily count-down to launch date, the speculation as regards massive registration numbers, would show initial disappointment at a lack of enthusiasm suggested by further speculation that a major email invitation drew in 90 subscribers initially. The core message/product hasn't altered and we should let these speak for themselves, as I expect them to. Calling attention to £45K p.a. revenue stream perhaps did more harm than good.
Trust you have DYOR? Today is not about numbers it is about the company reaching a major milestone on time as they have done 100% to date. Incredible achievement. The product is certified, so they can move at their own pace. This is a soft launch to guarantee no issues with supply chain, unlike others. The product is highly in demand by people unfortunate enough to suffer from skin conditions on a daily basis - it won’t go away, this makes it manageable. Customers order up front, so no issue with bottom line - unlike others. Orders established at home, Europe and across the pond. Doesn’t matter whether the drop is due to market or AIM, this is solid and will be huge in years to come. SBTX also have a few other products, you may wish to take a look
Belgrano - the company model, product and CEO are very good. It will be sustainably profitable.
To say there are traders out to get the price lower etc, if they don’t ramp things to high heaven is ridiculous. There’s no need to ramp - we’re here, we have a product.
Reality is, this stock is (and AIM) is erratic. The news is confirmatory, nothing more. Blue finish.
25,000 registered? and 90 urgent buyers, is that it? Not at all what I'm here for. And hopefully some time today we may see some evidence of proactive US partner.
I see the UK association is hold a live q and a during this Psoriasis Week on food/supplements, on Monday.
