Can’t see a reason why we saw a fall today, ideas anyone? Thanks
The press haven’t been kind but with certainty the dividend will rise again and now is the time to buy, as it has been for a while. Nice article in proactive investor which won’t do any harm too
Hi everyone
Please can someone explain what is going on and how it is impacting SP
I see “bid situation” on HGL and the price has dropped. Yes have read RNS but would be helpful to understand what is really happening here
Thank you
Hi evoking
Whilst it is thoughtful of you to attach a link as with others, there is little point if you have to subscribe to the Times to actually read it
Would be good if you could paraphrase what it said
Thanks
For those of you who have been here long enough, you will remember that a promise of dividends was made. I have no doubt this will be delivered at some pointand once it does happen, the SP will bounce even more
plenty of excitement GLA
Hi Bogyu,
Yes it is a very quiet board and I am happy with that too
As you may have seen, I have been in and out of here, taking losses when it collapsed. I bought at £2.28 on 4/1/22 and £102.50 on 30/6/22, so it’s very capable of getting back there
Well done you for entering so low!
Am back in now albeit at low value. It looked great when a contract was signed with Shell ages ago and with the “AI bounce” across the water slowly coming our way now, hopefully its upward trend continues. I got back in because of the flood of contracts
I am also invested in AI fund so can track performance that way
Suspect we will see an increase in brokers ratings shortly, I predict by end of year, we shall see
Please let me know how you found Windward and what appeals to you
Thank you
I can’t find the dividend dates on HGL or the company site, when is the next ex div date please?
Thank you
Hi Raxfactor
Many thanks for the article but where do I invest? Am out of CAML for now and see PXC, AAL and BRWM as much better value
All opinions welcome
Brokers gave us a target of 15p a year ago
Since then there have been multiple contracts with numerous director buys
I don’t see 15p as the target, it should be much higher, please can someone tell me why
Hi Terrym,
Nowhere in the article and many others in the posts on here, does it say SEE will have a contract
Please explain what guarantee has been given that there will be
I will be so happy if you prove me wrong, I believe in this company
Thank you
Understandably, Right now all we can talk about is AR and the results last week which actually weren’t that bad. The dividend will increase again next March (its high enough already), and the SP will rise accordingly
Buy now
I sold at a loss a while back here let’s not forget this collapsed from £1.40+ the article is interesting but TGR isn’t mentioned anywhere so as nice as it would be, there is no evidence musk will sign, hope I am proved wrong
Well I called that right a month ago, miracles do happen. Will continue to hold and buy more if it goes back to below 450 GLA
Agreed Mr Flibbles. I gave up trying to understand the low SP here ages ago. CAML has never let me down, admittedly people were disappointed with last dividend not being increased but I don’t know of another mining company who are debt free and pay 30 to 50% out
This fell a short while back and as elsewhere in this board, wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility that it falls further, but believe we will see a significant upturn, just need to be patient
Have added today
Oh dearDinoken, what a sad life you lead. Quite a while back myself and others on this board told you to go away because all you do is moan about this share and others without substantiation. Things haven’t changed have they? If you are upset or disappointed with your investments then the stock market isn’t for you. There are higher savings rates available in simple savings accounts including NatWest! So why don’t you take out all your money and put it there instead. I have once again provided rationale as to why I believe NatWest is a very solid long term investment, you just moan and no one here is interested
Well the AI theme seems to be popular here too. Hopefully this is the breakthrough we have been waiting for encouraging that this didn’t drop like a stone whilst most the other stocks did last week. News articles are referring to a defence connection, so if this follows the success of other defence stocks we will be in a very happy, place. GLA
Hi everyone. Have watched this like a hawk and wouldn’t surprise me if this falls further but for me this is a good price to buy. Thought I would start a chain here whilst all the chats are on PSN. GLA
Hi market dealer. No this will never get to £3.45. Not even close. The dividend is higher than last year, the company is growing and when the BR rises stop it will jump back up
Thanks Mike, nice to have a conversation with someone who is talking sense for a change
Wouldn’t argue with anything you say, I was lucky when I bought some here at £2 so it’s got a while to fall yet before I am in the red. Am happy to accept the risks you outline, especially accruing the divis for the next decade
In particular I agree with your prediction of a small divi increase coming up. I would have been happy with keeping at last years 3.5p but it will be more than that. Yes, 4p or 5p, I will call 4.5p for what it’s worth
Good luck with your investments
Hi Porsche,
Looking at your comments on other stocks, like here they are all negative, predicting a FTSE 100 crash like never before
Yes, Aviva will probably fall more , 370 or even 360, but now Amanda has jettisoned the dead wood, all that remains is going from strength to strength
Dividends will continue to increase each year and they are pretty high now. I am in here for at least another 10 years. Depending on your starting position of course, reinvesting dividends will make a tidy profit
Are you sure you don’t drive an Austin Allegro? They used to be called all aggro
