Oh dearDinoken, what a sad life you lead. Quite a while back myself and others on this board told you to go away because all you do is moan about this share and others without substantiation. Things haven’t changed have they? If you are upset or disappointed with your investments then the stock market isn’t for you. There are higher savings rates available in simple savings accounts including NatWest! So why don’t you take out all your money and put it there instead. I have once again provided rationale as to why I believe NatWest is a very solid long term investment, you just moan and no one here is interested

Wouldn’t argue with anything you say, I was lucky when I bought some here at £2 so it’s got a while to fall yet before I am in the red. Am happy to accept the risks you outline, especially accruing the divis for the next decade

In particular I agree with your prediction of a small divi increase coming up. I would have been happy with keeping at last years 3.5p but it will be more than that. Yes, 4p or 5p, I will call 4.5p for what it’s worth

Dividends will continue to increase each year and they are pretty high now. I am in here for at least another 10 years. Depending on your starting position of course, reinvesting dividends will make a tidy profit

Not only are NW not seeing signs of distress for its customers, it is ahead of competition in supporting them. It’s not putting its head in the sand, it is standing proud and reaching out. Ahead of the game on climate and as below, dividends will only go up.

No one knows how low this will go off the back of the BoE miscalculation but right now and whatever it drops to, is a bargain

Key events to trigger a spike up = once all shares are bought back which will be by 2025 + obvious BR stabilising which will happen at some point + realisation by the market that the humongous profits made when BR keeps rising means a bottomless pit of money to return to shareholders

I bought last week the early 2.30’s and will continue to do so especially if it drops into 2.20 region or even lower

This stock now has a very solid future and is ahead of other banks. Brokers say it, not just me

I have no idea why you seem to be the only one on this board and quite how this company has been turned around having had no dividend since 2019 but bought in today on the RNS and this seems solid. Dividend cover was excellent last time they had one, so looks good

Hi Stuartrm, as others have said on this board, SLP usually drops a lot in between dividend payments. Wouldn’t surprise me if this fell below 90p again. Simon Thompson (who I respect), predicted a spike up not so long ago, but it simply hasn’t happened and seems to be more of a spike down. Am waiting for sub 90 before buying. GLA

Hi Richorpoor, I saw the same trend but today FTSE up and KMR down. Tomorrow should see a rise as insiders tend to buy on the last day of trading week prior to results - if they are good of course…which they should be

Well, we have waited long enough and I confess I sold out at a loss at 44p. I was lucky to get back in at the bell this morning and surely, surely, this can only be going up from here. As below on this board, huge potential and I do appreciate the honesty about the supply issues. I don’t think anyone understands just how big this can be. GLA

Hi everyone, some interesting posts, but rather than worry about the sudden SP drop, let’s just look around and see what has happened here. . Now NW has bumped up the second dividend from 7.5p to 10p, it will attract buyers and the SP will rise thru to March Ex div date. It may fall more next week as some people panic, but not for long. More importantly NW won’t reduce the dividend next time round because it is awash with cash. As mentioned elsewhere on here, they made a whole years profit in one quarter thanks to BR rise and of course BR is still up. If it doesn’t go above or falls below 4%, mortgage business improves and if it does go above 4% there is even more profit. Since covid, NW smashed all the other major banks out of sight, feel free to check back if you don’t believe me. It’s also in the right side of 50% ownership which is downhill from here. They have started an impressive programme to help youngsters in schools, working with Marcus Rashford - apart from Beckham, you couldn’t choose anyone better. This is on top of the existing MoneySense initiative where staff deliver workshops in schools. Yes, branches have closed, but every bank has done that as it supports the Carbon drive, as whether we like it or not, the world moves to digital. Some believe the SP fell upon the results because it was unusually high anyway and the analysts don’t believe NW can sustain its profits when BR inevitably falls. Historically, analysts have a very negative view of NW and it always takes them a while to realise just how good this stock is. Key is a significant rise in mortgage business, which is evident in the results. . However, the icing on the cake for me is Alison Rose. Since she arrived, this has gone up and up. Previous CEO’s couldn’t hold their own in the media but she is a better communicator than most politicians and she has seriously improved the PR, both during covid on BBC and beyond. some forecast well over £4 and that wouldn’t surprise me, but for sure, this is a damn good share with a tremendous future. Funny how my other best stock Aviva has an equally tremendous future with generous dividends being reliable IMO and is also run by a lady. Gentlemen, we have a lot to learn……GLA

Hi Sagacity, sorry for taking so long to answer your question, my fault, I wasn’t very clear. There are a number of sites which list what they believe to be comparative shares when they analyse a stock. Not difficult to find that the largest 3 Vanadium producers are Glencore, Largo Resources and Bushveld Minerals. I sold GLEN at a nice profit last year and whilst I wouldn’t discourage anyone from buying in, I believe there are too many risks there and more profit to be had here. LGO are in Canadian dollars and I only invest in Sterling to avoid having to pay tax. BMN has been stuck around 4 to 5p for a long time and again, others may disagree , but I don’t see a good SP spike there either. There are 5 stocks on Stockopaedia that they feel are similar to KMR = Adriatic Metals, Afarak, African Pioneer, Alba Mineral Resources and Alien Metals None pay dividends and some are penny shares does that make more sense?

If you search Kenmare on YouTube you will find an impressive H1 2022 presentation 5 months ago where they say a lot more than I have mentioned below. I subscribe to investors chronicle which recommends “buy”, with forecasts for next 12 months ranging from 703.50 to 800.56.
Stockopaedia also recommend “buy” labelling it a super stock, scoring quality 86, value 96, momentum 74 and stock rank 98 - all out of a 100. Hope that helps

I have asked the same question and will be eagerly attending on the 22nd. Simon Thompson at Investors Chronicle keeps saying “buy” and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if SLP was included in his very imminent Bargain Shares for 2023. Even if I am wrong, with bucket loads of cash and the SP having stabilised between 100 and 110 for a while, am expecting a great year. Worse case scenario is that they don’t pay an April dividend in which case the SP will probably fall and I will seize the moment to top up. GLA

There are half a dozen competitors in the market to Kenmare and none of them are anywhere near as large or established. I particularly like the focus on the key battery metal Vanadium YouTube videos claim to produce 35 to 50% of magnetite in new cars and alliances are being formed. Stockopaedia rates this highly as do Investors Chronicle, both of whom I respect. With excellent dividend cover, there is a lot to like here. GLA

I posted on 15 december That if this hit 44p I would buy back in. It has and I have. Still don’t know if it will drop further but genuinely believe this is a winner. GLA
