The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Thanks everyone. Now all I have to do is decide on an entry point. Will the SP keep rising because results that are coming are good, or will it fall back?
Hi, sorry, can’t see dividend due anywhere, when is ex div date and payment date please? Thanks
Thanks for coming back all. Agree and I also bought at the bell, who knows? Tomorrow morning could see some panic and sell or like us, see this as a golden opportunity. If no adverse news appears by end of week, I will be suitably reassured nothing is untoward
Hi everyone, LTH here, but can’t find reason for sudden drop today. Has been 90 to 100 for quite a while now
Obviously no RNS but can’t see director sales or any other cause
Thoughts please
Thanks
Trust you have DYOR? Today is not about numbers it is about the company reaching a major milestone on time as they have done 100% to date. Incredible achievement. The product is certified, so they can move at their own pace. This is a soft launch to guarantee no issues with supply chain, unlike others. The product is highly in demand by people unfortunate enough to suffer from skin conditions on a daily basis - it won’t go away, this makes it manageable. Customers order up front, so no issue with bottom line - unlike others. Orders established at home, Europe and across the pond. Doesn’t matter whether the drop is due to market or AIM, this is solid and will be huge in years to come. SBTX also have a few other products, you may wish to take a look
Hi, just to say “well done you” and isn’t it wonderful when you called it right = such a quiet share on this site and just look at the rise. Have added other complimentary posts on here and whilst I am sure he will be a pull back whilst some take profits at some point - can see this returning to its previous £5 status. Always had faith, but wow! Do I like that recent takeover
Not quite, fair bit of research went into £3+ including a friend who is in the industry.
Happy to - in priority order
1) SBTX = the soft launch 29/10 is the start of very big things to come
2) BOOM = target £13, bought under £4, sold when it hit £6 but won’t make that mistake again
3) LUCE = Sitting at 347.50 to buy today, but will return to £5 and beyond - very astute takeover recently
4) AFC = for reasons stated
5) PXC = Safest commodity bet on the market, with the usual mining pitfalls (please forgive the pun…) de-risked

You are so right. Shares will rise and fall depending on news or lack of it and this year, it seems they fall when results appear sometimes because the rise has already been built into the price. However, AFC is a class act and for me what sets it apart from others is that it has a product which works, proven to succeed, is in demand and profile slowly growing. Good point re COP being downplayed elsewhere on this board. Bottom line is that AFC will break £1, personally I think it will break £3. Just need to invest further (if you can) when there is a fall and wait. This is one of my top 5. Good luck to you, whatever you decide to do
My Grandfather said to me “pick shares that you can see” any that produce food are worth looking at because if you don’t eat, you die - try it you’ll see…so, yes, I am in ABF, TSCO, SBRY, BAKK and overall doing fine.
But LUCE ticks all the boxes - people need lighting, always. This company is established, worldwide and now has taken over DW Windsor - I didn’t see that coming = fabulous.
Yes, they will be impacted by supply chain, but have acknowledged that and still target a healthy outcome
I watched a presentation months back and they are focusing on electric cars. I just love the ambition here, the product is simple, as above, always in demand and meets all my Grandfathers criteria = god I miss him
Even a dividend to enjoy which some other shares in this price bracket don’t offer
Confidently invested and for me a strong buy = anyone else have wise relatives that they have taken advice from?
Thankyou and GLA!
Hi, your help please. Have posted in OPTI board but you seem to stay here. Firstly, thankyou! For such quality posts, truly amazing. Am subscribed to Elrico, so up to speed with SBtX and happy here eagerly awaiting next week and beyond. However, noted your comments re OpTI share fall when products launched and wanted to know 2 things
1) why hasn’t OPTI price risen as SBTX has this week as they increase their holding
2) am also invested in OPtI, prepared to wait, but do OPTI still have the same supply issues?
Many thanks, fasten seat belts…
Hold with SBTX as do so many. Please can someone tell me why OPTI hasn’t risen in proportion with the rise in SBTX this week since they increased their shares? Thanks and GLA for what should be an amazing journey
Agreed, great RNS weeks ago and radio silence since. Since exclusive deal inked in with India albeit very early doors, am quietly confident for this, especially as the potential market is so large. Yes, is there anyone else out there invested in this company with an opinion?!
Don’t worry, no different from a host of other shares right now, especially with so many supply chain issues, inflation risks etc = until we see something tangible on the bottom line the price will fluctuate between 87/88p + 1.00. Difference here is that TGR are pretty much out on their own in graphene. Yes, there is competition, but not in their class and they are well set up for the future. . Obviously it would be wonderful to hear good news with figures attached, but we just need to wait. People need TGR. Part of the drop from 140 was due to D Telegraph Questor readers buying in when recommended at £1, then selling when it started to fall, like sheep. However, can’t blame people for taking a profit, although I wasn’t one of them….recommend you listen to one of the company’s presentations, you will be impressed.
Yes, any idea why anyone?
Hi everyone, please can someone tell me why this fell so badly today after such a steady risk thru the week. Thanks
Hi, this has been highly recommended by Simon Thompson of investors chronicle
Have no available funds left to buy more but for this one, never had doubts, even though I bought at an average of 116. Having watched presentations and always been impressed, we just have to wait. Nice to see the little rise today. Long May it continue. GLA
Hi, please can you let me know where you have seen this quote, as I have yet to spot where SEE is mentioned elsewhere. Thankyou
Agreed, only reason is the massive market collapse and that SED is very new on the road, so no history “yet” to fall back on - not that it helped any other share today. Be patient, I love the fact that an exclusive deal has been signed
