"I think this may be different Leddah due to Greenwoods mass buying spree..
I find it highly unlikely he threw £500k plus as a cheeky bet.
I kept in 1/3 of my holding, here's hoping for a great increase once complete." End Quote
Whether you hold 33% or 25%, your opinion seems to shift based on feelings I guess. dead dog? I don't agree that's why I hold, but why do you knock down a stock you have money in?
Mark Mitchell Greenwood bought short of 30% now 12.7%
New significant holder, Pure Ice increased slightly this very week, will they stop now? I don't think so.
We have FOUR (4) Gold mines in a famous area known as the Carolina Super Terrain, with only historical small scale gold mining done on them, where modern exploration techniques haven't been used.
According to Bernard Olivier CEO, Our Loflin is very similar to Haile Mine that Romarco Minerals sold to Oceana Gold for $850 Million Canadian dollars in 2015. Operations on Haile apparently began in 2007 and using modern techniques, signifcant gold was discovered, this drew the attention of Big Gold companies and got everyone's attention.
In Bernard's words, Haille mine is not an isolated event, he likens our Loflin to it. We have four mines, new techniques and the cash.
It's upto you, if you don't like this, why hold and why bother even looking at a "dead dog"? If you want to buy lower, you can say it, your not convincing me or yourself into selling. You can't deceive me.
I used to be invested with RLD and to be honest I cant believe the price is where it is now fair play to all you who held out.
The old 20-22 Wenlock Road.
Are we thinking this Dog may turn round??
It's been a long wait to be this far down from pre suspension when there were high hopes of being way higher... I'm just glad I sold 75% of holding before suspension.

The only rational way of proceeding with this as an investment is to consider Lexington Gold as a pure explorer;that is they won't ever be seeking to finance a mine but prove up the prospect and JV or sell them on. You missed this off your summary - the CEO did say this would be their approach and duplicate what happened with the nearby Haile mine.
Thanks for the link. Have just listened to this and the main points I picked up were (as a layman!), in reply to the question about what is planned over the next 12-18 months:
1. Undertaking helicopter and magnetic surveys (already started or imminent) and using historical data to create a 3D model from which drilling plans can be made.
2. Initial diamond drilling to confirm historical drilling results - to start ASAP.
3. Expansion project which will use a 'reverse circulation' drilling technique, which is cheaper than diamond drilling and provides larger sample sizes and that, in turn, should provide more accurate estimates of the reserves and avoid the nugget effect, which can exaggerate the quality.
It all sounds a positive start, but I have to remind myself these are only prospects, albeit ones with a good history and with modern techniques give the possibility of greater extraction than in the past. (As I've said before, I'm stuck in a big paper loss from 2009, so I am in this for the long haul - most other posters seem to have got in a 'sensible' prices.)

But isnt this initially just a 2 year deal?
Mines are notoriously risky and slow to get to production and lots of permitting. This won't be like the old days of quick flipping to make a fast buck. The 2.5p IMHO will be for a few years. Happy to hold with my current exposure and see what happens in 2022 or 2023

There are those in the investment community that know when shares consolidate... You end up with selling pressure from smaller investors who chuck out something that was 100k shares but is now 10k. Take a look at the shape of the sellers today and it is a mirror. All really low quality sellers by idiots with no patience. Yet in the middle of all this there have been big buys of 500k, 250k etc. Somebody knows what they are doing.... As opposed to the loons selling 10k shares or 74 shares... They'll regret it. Watch for the announcement... Hahahaha..

These guys know exactly what they are doing! This was always going to have a good outcome for anyone who could stay the course. Good thing here is that most of the hard and draining prep has been done and we just picked up the baton to finish the race :)
They will certainly "hit" gold as you put it, the previous operators of Jones Keystone and Loflin did - see http://www.richlandresourcesltd.com/operations/jones-keystone-loflin-project-jkl/ The question is will the new drilling confirm an economic deposit at these two prospects? I'm betting there is a very good chance they will but we will have to wait for the results.
The pre suspension speculation price was higher that the, the deal is done, we own a gold mine, price.
So asking people to be patient is rubbish. Too many people have hyped this deal up, making stupid claims of big profits. The reality is, this is a speculative share, it's a gamble. IF, IF they hit gold, it will fly. IF....
Patience. Patience. The announcements are going to emerge soon...
Hoping that staying invested throughout the share suspension period is actually going to show some benefit, once name change goes through and that the gold in the name, is also gold in the ground!

I couldn't have encapsulated the buy case better myself. We're just waiting for the inevitable blizzard of announcements now... They'll have the placement cash by now, they'll be getting ready to drill is my best guess. May even have some, drill results by the new year. Exciting times...
The gold price has declined from over $2k in August to around $1790 now and charts show some gold funds moved below the 50 day moving average near the end of Sept. I suspect a combination of profit-taking and positive covid vaccine news has caused this but am not worried about this share. I still think the medium - and long - term trend in gold will be upwards and the scars on the major economies from lockdowns will take years to sort out.
We also still have the elephant in the room of massive fiat currency printing and that means gold will be thought of as a safe haven. Many gold miners have costs of production far below the current gold price and provided demand holds up, should have a very solid future.
If and when we find deposits of the right quality and are extractable at reasonable cost, presumably that will be the first big leg up for the SP. In the meantime, patience, patience, patience...

To be honest only £2K invested and the majority is profit that I made on this Share a few months back so in all honesty a punt. Guess greed ruling and not my head.
With that your over £3000 still in profit at this price. You come across, like someone who needs constant encouragement and lacks confidence. Call your broker at Betinvest and ask them to sell, do yourself the favour. Nothing in life is guaranteed, this can fail woefully.
Going through your posts, your not sure of your investment decisions.

Should have jumped before suspension was £4k better off
Relax all, gold price falling out of bed, stock price hanging in there, we're yet to see any news, but I'm sure there will be much forthcoming. Also, as yet, no sign of director's buying, which is a further plus to look forward to. All in all, everything to play for, 4 concessions, 6 targets.... Stay cool and wait 4 the action, and if it drops below placement price, fill yer boots!!!!!! Richland, the stock that reaches the parts other gold stocks don't!!!
I assume this will be the resistance line and their news flow could be forthcoming .. new holders are in with shares .. after being locked in for ages u would appreciate a rise, but the consolidation had affected the view a bit . G.l all

...considering that GGP went from sub 1p in 2018 to +23p today! That would be sweet :)
thanks for the response, I think my question here is are these realised losses brought forward worth any kind of goodwill value etc, that could reflect in the market cap/price per share? I am not sure how this works but that I read somewhere is one of the attractions of RTOs like this.
Oaber, a lot of platforms haven't adjusted following the consolidation. That one your looking at, may still have the total shares in issue at 1.1 billion and may still be stuck at the old price of 0.003. That gives the 3 million mcap.
It will all correct soon.
Acording to Sharepad the mcap is 3.3M
I hope the future Lexington Gold follow the same pattern as GGP: that is, find it, prove it up, then sell it or JV it with a major for cash and/or a share of the eventual output revenues...then repeat with the next prospect. Most small outfits that attempt to go from small explorer to large scale mining (even not so large scale e.g. WLFE or SXX to cite just two recent attempts) end in failure.

Jim, if the fractional charges call it that, are important to you in the slightest. In the future, especially whrte cash shells are concerned or stocks you hold that have billions in issue (likely to consolidate). Sell or buy to round up your holding to the nearest 10.
"No Shareholder will be entitled to a fraction of a New Common Share and where, as a result of the Share Consolidation, any Shareholder would otherwise be entitled to a fraction only of a New Common Share in respect of their holding of Existing Common Shares on the Record Date (a "Fractional Shareholder"), such fractions will, in so far as possible, be aggregated with the fractions of New Common Shares to which other Fractional Shareholders of the Company would be entitled so as to form full New Common Shares (the "Fractional Entitlement Shares"). These Fractional Entitlement Shares will be held in Treasury by the Company.
Shareholders with only a fractional entitlement to a New Common Share (i.e. those Shareholders holding a total of fewer than 10 Existing Common Shares at the Record Date) will cease to be a Shareholder of the Company."
From RNS on the 2nd of Nov.
Gl
So I had 773348 shares in RLD and now I have 77334 I appreciate the practicalities of the consolidation and the need thod rounding down (but never up)
So what happened to the value of my .8 It may in my case be miniscule but over many customers this has a disticnt value I would have thought.
do they just run off with the money and have a laugh at the group of investors expense???
Halifax (my broker) say its down to RLD not them (so please go away)

Thanks for the reply Ian. Looks as though they are awaiting the registrar.
Can you recommend a good broker, been procrastinating on the change for too long. I also have other shares on markets my current broker doesn't deal in; any pointers? thanks :)
Can't you call your brokers? You don't have to deal at MMs price. On aim, cheap computer trades or expensive mainline brokers are exactly what you don't need, especially when the spreads are as much as 20%. Get a proper broker and pay the 1/4% commission. You always get what you pay for. OK if we're dealing hsbc or shell it doesn't matter a jot. But with this kind of stock it matters a lot. Don't be mean y'all... Pay a good broker.
BOS is offering 2.8 but,,,, nah! not today thank you :)
Hi ATISHA, no, to be honest, can't ever recall getting one, and it is certainly not still on my account at HL, where I have never deleted a message. Ce la Vie, if it's the 27th then I will just put my hard earned cash elsewhere for now, and await the results of these couple of days on the SP.
Cheers again,

The Board of Richland Resources Ltd has announced a reorganisation of the Company's Share Capital. Shareholders as at close of business on 23 November 2020 will have their holding consolidated, receiving 1 new share in place of every 10 previously held. The new consolidated Shares are expected on 25 November 2020. Please note we will credit the shares to you account upon receipt from the registrar which may not be before 8.00am on 25 November 2020.
The Company is also proposing to change its name to Lexington Gold Ltd.
We will write to you following the Consolidation and Name Change to confirm how your holding has affected.
I only hold 1m shares of old ie 100k new. Not quite the multi boom our resident rampers predicted prior to suspension ? Shame but the old adage if it sounds too good to be true! Happy enough with the return as was one of the lucky ones at 0.10p last christmas. GLA MFU
@BoracicLint
I’m in IG at it’s the same for me
In IG, it is still under RLD, which other posters suggest will last a couple of weeks. However, in both my ISA and Share accounts, the shares have been consolidated but the share price shown is the old one of 0.32p, yet my overall account value has gone up by 30%. It's completely screwed up at the mo, but as am not selling for some time, I'll just be patient....
