RE: Stick or Twist, That is the question ?10 Apr 2026 08:21
@maltster1 I don't know if "partial stake" includes a share of future revenue, but the last Half Yearly Report - December 2025 - page 23 details Newmont's future Havieron cash share:
"Deferred contingent consideration
Additional consideration may be payable in cash to Newmont of up to a maximum of US$100.0 million (c. $149.4 million)
on the first five years of Havieron gold production, through a 50% price upside participation by Newmont above a
US$1,850/oz hurdle gold price, subject to an annual cap of US$50.0 million and aggregate cap of US$100.0 million. At
the acquisition date, this had been calculated to have a fair value of US$69.0 million using a deterministic approach
based on base case projections (including consensus gold price). The liability was revalued at 31 December 2025 based
on revised long term gold price assumptions and exchange rates (as at 31 December 2025 AUD:USD 0.67) to
US$73.5 million ($109.8 million). The assumed production profile was updated to align to the Havieron Feasibility Study
completed in December 2025. "
