The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
These are all good questions, I personally believe Stamp has been terrible for the company, he needs to be replaced, also I am trying to find out more about this CMS Medical Venture Investment, what their connection is. The company has attended multiple conferences over the last 6 months, surprised no deals have come out of them, notice though J&J have an interest in the new company, they are some how connected between the two, once again the private investor getting low balled by big pharma, hopefully they dont get the votes to push this dillution through, they should concentrate returning value through their existing pipeline..
People here are so stupid to whats going on here, even if the company does go public the directors to take the position fully private would still have to offer a substantial premium to entice any investors to part with their stock I believe, these private deals are becoming more common, the likes of asset match etc, have the ability for large holders of the stock to try and low ball the remaining 25% but if they are not in any particular rush eventually they will pay a price worth taking otherwise they wont own the company I believe, but do your own research of course, I recently sold my fastjet shares on asset match which I thought were worthless for £30/share, just because something comes off exchange doesnt mean its dead and has no value..people are making people believe this is the case, if you can afford to hold then it could be profitable in my opinion..
With reference to the TR1 announced on the 04/04 Steve Bassi has a holding it seems of more than 30%, does this not mean if im not mistaken there is a mandatory bid situation? How come nobody is talking about this?
yes I think it was April RNS, regarding Polar, wanted to know the companies cash position as of today. I think this makes a tempting entry below 175 level(DYOR) but then again could languish for days/months and drift down, as with mainly most Biotechs-they tend to keep the small PIs waiting for their news..
This share is one I have looked at from time to time, they have such an unusual trading pattern, with todays placing one again shows using claims of "breakthrough" sciences to fund what so far has been a bit of a dud company. Nothing but down since IPO, cant believe this once was £2 a share, what happened to the DARA acquisition?..down the pan? seems like all these guys do is burn through cash, millions spent up until now, with little or no revenue. PIs get spiked on this frequently it seems since there is such a low float, float since this raise should be higher now so technically improving liquidity. Everyone was hoping for a massive short squeeze on this think they will be disappointed. I think the news regarding secura bio was a red herring, also the other bits regarding their cancer treatments, the treatment is for a niche and small market. The real value here is the next gen vax development, if they bolted their tech onto this could have big rewards if proven. Then again, this could be just trying to jump on the covid bandwagon. What is the current MCAP now post dillution anyone know?
Brdgs
I have been looking at this one and like the fundamentals, cant quite work out why the sustained fall over last few months, any wise words on this? I think ligation industry will be in use very soon if not already over various matters..
Maybe, but I have seen a lot of talk about this stock, I have been skeptical, having seen the corporate broker TPI who I do not think have a great track record in my opinon. Note today Lombard Odier TR1 have reduced their position, I am wondering why that is..
Thanks valuerebel, how could one have purchased these at the ipo price? I see that they came on with an approximate 33m MCAP and have more than doubled this already, I am one that prefers to buy value rather than chase the crowd..
Anyone feel that there is spread games here? I think I am interesting in this, but at ideally a far lower level, the number of shares in issue is a major put off.
didnt these guys raise a while back? What is the premise to buy into this? shocking recent performance, feel sorry for LTHs here..
spread here is a joke imho..
what kind of cash position is bananas petroleum in currently? Brgds
the mcap is nearly 100m for a company that has little revenue, of course if one of its products has a use in this recent pandemic then this could be seen as cheap, but I think as with all ipos this may retrace a bit may look for a decent entry then, I know that CBD seems to be very in play as well as bios and the likes.
does anyone have a problem buying this through their broker, mine said something about needing some sort of document or something
So does anyone know if the new shares in issue hit the market today? if they did this held up remarkably well, it seems though mcap and share in issue data hasnt changed on here though still states mcap at 1million with 456million shares..
