I remember crystal amber fund having quite a few of these, anyone know their current position, i haven't been keeping track, always bargains around xmas trying to look for a few, their share price seems to be at odds with hurricanes which have noticeably collapsed..
I often look at bios, this one in particular interests, but I am wondering why the price is so depressed, I dont often say this but one of the best RNS releases of all time must be on this cards here, by no means guaranteed as this company has had troubles in the past but sense something is going on here..I would be very interested to know the free float available on this share? if anyone knows approx figures that would be helpful, plus short exposure. These two factors often make for spectacular rises historically.
I am curious to imagine, what with all the speculation of price once, or if the FDA approve, how many will be heading for the doors early, as I have seen fairly large trades in this there seems to be a positive consensus but not forgetting basics of trading for every sell there must be a buy, if everyone tries to sell all at once this would put a dampener or restrict any major rise I imagine, this isnt even assessing automated orders etc
this share price has been very confusing for some, the big drop from placing at £1.75 seems strange, shows really some times it is best to follow institutional investors if they are selling, the are often better informed than P.Is but I do find it curious though there is always a buyer out there at pretty much any price, I wonder who has been buying at various levels..if there were no appetite for the shares you could hardly get a price quote for them, this is true for a number of my woeful holdings..time will tell..
interesting, how many options? I guess the 10 year timeframe really pushing the horizon out, doubt holders exercise for less than say few multiples of this MCAP at least, look at GGP everyone was concerned reading the options and warrants that possibly could hold the SP back in the short term, once you find gold you can find a much higher SP that makes the warrants/options etc pretty much just absorbed into the price.
I believe this meeting takes place on the 4th does anyone know the timeline? what are the chances of things getting delayed or a non event, I have been in situations like this before, a seemingly binary situation that turns out to be an ever long procrastination generally these sort of things can trigger mass event selling if data is good, and obv company etc doesnt really want that. The real problem is money being tied up when it could be used productively elsewhere, I am a little overweight in Bios right now, my portfolio is beginning to look like an NHS prescription, written in red ink..
Thanks for your response, maybe its time to do a little early Xmas shopping in that case..few shares out there seem quite good, I mentioned I like to keep my eye on these kind of Bios. best of luck all..
Any idea? the spread is ridiculous
I follow biotechs with some interest, this one is appealing, but I note seemingly quite illiquid, does anyone know much about the dealings of the chinese billionaire Lam Kong in relation to this company? I read somewhere about warrants issued at 50p and that he holds currently a sizable stake from an investment made here in 2019. Is he still holding? if so how much and would a possible mandatory bid be on the cards? I have noticed their recent appointment of joint broker has not got the best track record, garbage springs to mind. But having watched the presentations I am quite interested and may take a view at nearer the 20p level if there is a possibility, cash position should be quite good until Q3/4 2021 here also I read, but you never know with Aim..
what is wrong with this share? I have not known of a company to raise 80million plus and then practically half in a matter of weeks, it think it would have been more ethical to have done a raise post big pharma releasing its vaccine data, as I remember this drop was all done since Phizfer 90% efficency rate release, but then after we had Moderna, and Astrazenica, I think have all indicated higher success levels, so why not another big drop in the SP? all fake drop in my opinion, don't think this can stay at these levels for long as placing buyers must be furious! I do feel in general there is a force that is holding back on these markets in general at the moment, it is like everyone and everything is waiting for "something" to happen. So many shares are overdue data no idea why there isn't a raft of releases yet. Perhaps good news isn't allowed yet to keep peoples energies low, but patience will persevere.
thanks for the response, I think my question here is are these realised losses brought forward worth any kind of goodwill value etc, that could reflect in the market cap/price per share? I am not sure how this works but that I read somewhere is one of the attractions of RTOs like this.
One other point mentioning, I am not too aware of how these placings etc work but if they have recently raised 3.3million the 2.75p figure would probably seem to be a good floor level for the share price, which as a new investor seems reassuring as you can literally be getting involved at the very beginning dependant on your viewpoint. Does anyone know if the company can utilize the tax losses from the previous business yet? If so how can this be evident in the MCAP? sorry for all the technical questions but I seldom make investments but when I do I tend to take a decent size and have no problem being patient to see things develop, but as with all things I like to do my own research before I get to this stage./
I have been looking at this one recently, doesnt seem to move much has quite a stable profile, their technology looks good and are in quite a hot sector at the moment. I noticed newsflow here is what could be holding this one back, plus I think signs of a decent revenue stream, this could get this one really noticed.
sounds good, will be keeping an eye on this. Most likely may drift towards placing price, am aiming to maybe get a holding below 3p- I imagine before the change to LEX.L will maybe reach here, 7mil mcap still is quite reasonable, cannot believe that greatland gold once a 1p share now is valued at nearly £1billion, yet there is hardly any talk about this share on its quick rise to the top, basically something I noticed over the years, shares that are not overly talked about or rising without much attention tend to be the ones worth focusing on. Not sure of the corporate broker for this one will have to do a bit of research into them, but this seems like a good share everything being considered/
Does anyone know the current market cap for the company? post consolidation? I am interested as if it is around 3million and they have raised 3.3million at 2.75p then this is trading near to cash levels. Have seen few gold plays do very well over last few years or so, Solgold was at 2p at one point now we are 36p, then Greatland Gold 1P to 23P, the RTO method of entry indicates strong confidence in the prospects and like the area being geo politically stable, but a question does anyone know if SolGold or Greatland Gold are actually producing any gold at present or have they just discovered a lot of it? I am interested to see the mechanics of what prompted such a large rise in MCAP.

Hello new to this share, I was wondering with the current cash position post raise if I recall correctly 80 million, this puts this share ahead of many other small exploration pharmas in terms of cash, most small pharma do not have a pot to pxxx in. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the connection with this company and clinigen? Also noted Polar capital increasing their stake via TR1 which is a good sign, I believe they have a generally good track record. I think excluding covd this company has a future in other areas, we are living in an age unfortunately which many are just focused on one particular disease, there are plenty of other diseases and ailments that still need proper treatment.
I read somewhere this company had tax losses, can anyone here care to clarify the position?
Brgds
Whoever bought early would have been ok, but today is another way to get spiked. I have seen this company spike investors out before last year the announcement with Jazz Pharma for example, I have changed my view on this one as I once believed they were interested in their smaller investors, I would be careful with this one.
price monitoring extension I imagine, the reason for the price move once again, very small free float of less that 10%, this can be a good or bad thing, the company seems set on raising funds via one or two large institutions, no interest in benefiting the average retail investor, this prob will be down like a stone 2m, they will hold the cards as there probably isnt many buyers out there for the stock until liquidity improves. The company is in my opinion not run well, but the science does look good. But who knows what that is worth, remember the market cap at 15.5 is already 32million.
