I am not saying im clever. I have repeatedly referred to myself as a terrible investor and pretty average. I also have been veryy transparent about my dual accounts: O simply can not get III to return my password so I have to have 2 logins for my differing devices.

Regular visitors have worked out that Decidedleaverage and Godders are one and the same person.
Doesn't confuse us, as we all know, but it would seem to confuse him - clearly not as clever as he thinks he is.
Decidedleaverage,
Why have you replied for Godders again, I thought it was against LSE’s regulations to have more than one account?
Regards LTT
Either I'm particularly talented or I work in the afternoon . What do you do in your retirement ?
Wow - does Godders only work in the afternoon?
That explains why he's got so much free time to waste here.
No !!!
You earn £15000 pm and whinge
I am asking you why you complain all the time
Hi Godders
£15000 per month and you still whinge
Get a life or don’t lie

Thanks Latics - appreciated and accepted.
Godders,
You'll have another 2 jobs in that time
Mogger
On this occasion, I think perhaps you are correct.
Yes I would agree.
Latics,
I think that RNS is referring to someone joining the company "as a part of that individual's overall remuneration package", I don't think a person who is not employed by Rockhopper would get a remuneration package.
Anyway I feel Paul Mayland fits the bill as someone to oversee the Sea Lion development for the Navitas / Rockhopper joint venture. He has experience of five FID's from his Cairn days, including three FPSO projects, one platform and one subsea tieback.(at least that's what is says in the RNS).
So maybe on this occasion the managements decision to get someone in for OM and someone in to take us to FID makes a lot of sense, would you not agree?
Regards LTT
@LTT … maybe it’s my understanding that is awry but here the reference:

RNS Number : 0385P
Rockhopper Exploration plc

The Company is also considering issuing share options to an experienced and successful oil and gas development project manager who would oversee the Sea Lion development for the Navitas / Rockhopper joint venture as a part of that individual's overall remuneration package. Further details will be provided in due course.

Navitas shares up 2 per cent in past 5 days, 40 per cent in past 6 months. No negative sentiment as a result of ME conflict it seems. Two US aircraft carriers stationed off the Israeli coast helps.
Here’s a thought 💭
Maybe Navitas could give Navitas shares or a bonus to keep their staff happy
They might also consider luncheon vouchers or Argos gift certificates
Just a thought

LaticsRule, can you give me some example of when a company has issued shares to employees of another separate company to back up your claim, as it is quite disturbing to think RKH could give out shares willy nilly. Of course if they were non-execs coming into company I can understand the reason to give share options and the like to incentivise them, but to employees of another company who is partnering us!
Regards LTT
I’m afraid a lot of RKH management decisions don’t make sense. A lot do ….
Why would RKH give shares to Navitas employees to keep them, it doesn’t make sense. Navitas should be taking care of its employees if it wants to get to FID and beyond, not RKH.
LTT
Not quite sure that NO progress has been made towards FID. The Team that Navitas are putting together seem to have a great deal of experience and very capable. My concern would be that in order to keep those skills on board, the RKH BoD may see gifting the Navitas people free shares as a mechanism for keeping them ? Would that require an RNS I wonder ?
@CitizenTS … with respect I didn’t initiate the comments about BoDs buying shares with their own money. I was merely responding to give the opposite view. I might well have responded with a question such as: ‘Would you buy if shares were available free?’ if the ciment was posed otherwise.
Simple balance but then I’ve come to understand that some are not capable of that … ever.
I'm negative because not once in the history of time have rkh made any contractual , concrete progress towards fid and yet we have spent the best part of a decade being told it's just a few years off. The board say 2024 yet there's 430.or so days until that deadline elapses. Yes there's a monumental amount of work to be done to achieve FId but for not one element of it to be confirmed as done yet says it all.
Ye but Latics you always say sh*t like that; at least other posters on here provide a bit of balance to partly offset your bias that dominates the board these days.
@covgaz .. well I guess he could be of the opinion WHY should I bother buying them when my control of the Company is such that I can just wait for the next AGM and award ourselves some more cheap shares.
But then again I don’t suppose it would occur to Sam to buy some with his own funds in order to demonstrate how confident he is of RKH / Navitas success … far too obvious.
Personally I am quite reassured that Sam moody has not bought in the open market , if he ever does I will be concerned. He is consistent in his actions re share purchases.
Pathetic , get your own mind.
Sea Lion is Sam's life's work. Before he hangs up his boots, he will want to tell his family that he has delivered oil for the UK from the Falklands.
