hey Nastnick, wouldn't take LatinsRule's comment that seriously.
just a climate activist who doesn't want SL to go-ahead anyway
I think you underestimate a Bods responsibilities. I expect there is much preparation work the Bod are doing and I am fine with the current trajectory. The sp will reflect true value when we get close to FID.

So maybe we have to accept that RKH have rolled the die but they haven’t landed yet.
The equity raising was sufficient to continue paying their salaries and induce Navitas to sign on the bottom line. The 9p warrants are holding the price down whilst large Institutions offload and the RKH now have the guarantee of loans from Navitas to protect their salaries. Why should they interact with shareholders … what more can they gain ? The prospect of an immediate OM payout has receded and possible extended another 2 years.
Nothing RHH can do but repeat everything Navitas say, it’s now up to Navitas. All RKH can do is hang on and vote themselves more share options at the
AGM.
Ovets… And don’t forget which account you are using next time.
The important word in that sentence is “once”.
Please try to engage your brain before firing off with your mouth.
Read it again, please.
Is that the best you can do?
On 9/3/23 you posted: "Ovets … for once I can’t disagree with anything you have said"
So, what you come here to do is disagree rather than discuss and in the process, you continue to make an ass of yourself, by making false assumptions.
Why not try to be constructive, at least occasionally.
IMHO OPEC will take whatever action necessary to keep the price of oil above $75 for the coming years.
Hello one and all, I've not posted for a while, my LSE account was suspended, not quite sure why, well actually I know why but I don't think the reason was justified. Well never mind, a suspended account is much less of an imposition than a spell inside at His Majesty's pleasure!!
So here we are then, Spring just started, weather shaping up nicely, comfortable slippers donned, reading all about the oil price forecasts for 2023 and into 2024.
I think this year is going to be an exciting one for Rockhopper, plenty of news on the horizon, heaven forbid that some of it is even likely to be good news.
So sit back, open a bag of popcorn and let the entertainment begin.
All the best, Crofty.
Neither LTM, merely Ovets using one of his many UserNames and forgetting which account he is logged on to.
Much the same as Market Dealer really … sigh
'? First campaign of 18 wells, 11 of which to be drilled pre-first oil'
Are these all production wells for phase 1 or are some in Isobel??

I don't think it will apply to rkh's acerage only...IMHO
Fakey. Garbage. Market dope. Falkland (pretend) investor. Easex etc etc etc. Inwont post again til 20p. The caravan is barking while the dogs are still moving. Another boring post with nothing to with RKH and attacking a poster on the BB from a lying fantasist. IMHO. DYOR. FAKE. LIAR. Just another after another after another after another gut feeling matey. Yawn yawn yawn.
NVPT is up by more than 25% since their annual report. Compare.
"I have never traded any shares at all. When I buy I hold them and I started years ago with FOGL and still only have less than 30k shares in RKH". (Blinker)
Clicking on your 'trading name' - to the left of the post I see that you were a keen supporter of Glen's 'Vote him out' campaign in 2021 and at the end of your post on 18-04-2021 claim to hold 240,000 shares. So, assuming you neither trade nor sell the shares you hold -
Did you only have 30,000 shares in 2021, or
Do you actually have 240,000 shares today, or
Are both statements false ?

I am really happy with Navitas's plan, I was always concerned a watered down version would bump up the costs per barrel and therefore make it touch a go whether it got FID or not. I know the oil price is set to be above $70 for the foreseeable but it would be just our luck to have a oil price spike down in the 1st Q 2024 due to recession and it's up in air as to getting sign off or not!
The new plan is pretty much what PMO worked up but with first oil sooner and a staggered start. Actually costing more with a total capex of $2.2bn but the oil starts flowing prior to stumping up the extra $900m. A master stroke if you ask me.
Also can imagine the rig heading down early to drill the second campaign to drill a few holes on Isobel and Elaine, it would be rude not to with a possible field bigger than Sea Lion!
All we need now is news from OM as to whether the stay is on or off. The stay being upheld is already priced in and the long wait to FID in 1st half of 2024 is also, but imagine if the stay was not upheld, it could happen as a unanimous decision was given in RKH favour plus they have been waiting for what is it, almost 7 years! Also Navitas will have to start the ball rolling sooner rather than later, surely they can't wait until 2024 and announce FID/Sanction and THEN start rattling the tin for funds and look for a RIG/FPSO/Manpower, etc.
I am looking forward to this years AGM indeed, it should be the brightest and most upbeat in the past 7/8 years!

Please try to ignore the *kity-La* , she/he has no interest here
Apart from the wind up....IMHO
I have never traded any shares at all. When I buy I hold them and I started years ago with FOGL and still only have less than 30k shares in RKH. I am only a small time investor and remember when they were £'s not pence.
Because I don’t like the way day traders like you bleed RKH dry …. The less advertising of a rise you have, the better.
Strange how you’re not so quick to comment when the sp rises.
I wonder why.
And RKH goes down…
Oil going up again due to cut in production from several suppliers.
'Rockhopper is contesting the Annulment – a process likely to take some 18-24 months from October 2022'
Seems like they're lowering expectations on the timescale of the award decision?
Hope this gives me chance to top up at a lower price.

And don’t forget Isobel. You can double those numbers.
the npv 10 figure of 4.3bn at 100% working interest is based on 269mn barrells - the 3c figure of 1129million barrells would be a totally different ball game, plus could be upside to 77usd per barrell
A succinct presentation, along with OPEC’s moves another two steps closer to the tipping point for this share.
The market has to be starting take notice of this at some point.
NPV10 of $4.3billion
RKH has 35%
That’s almost $1.5billion
Current value of company is circa £60M
So that’s a 20x difference
And that is just the start
