Another step forward for DSMs ‘health from the gut’ strategy.

Looks like a few tweaks.
No new health function claim as By-Health are after.

This looks like Samr are allowing a new function on health foods ,unfortunately not ff . ! https://food.chemlinked.com/news/food-news/china-samr-expands-raw-material-directories-and-function-claims-for-health-food-nutrient-supplement?utm_source=edm
I think IF would have went directly to the manufacturer if DSM were trying to make a profit on the remaining stock. We are already going to be paying them a royalty.
I would expect the price to come down lots when China orders come in. The huge volumes will drive down production costs. This will lead to more profit on existing customer sales.
Assuming we get it from DSM at cost ?
Yes, So far PXS has purchased 550,000 Euro of stock so if (and we are only going on what AD said in the article) we paid DSM 150 Euro a kilo then 550,000 divided by 150 = 3,666kg
Not sure I would go on the the best before date of FF+ as a guide as it may last longer when in its original packaging from the manufacture.
Another thing to think about for future orders. Cost of raw materials (tomatoes) and manufacture are likely to be much higher due to the cost of living increases. So if DSM did get the cost down to 150 Euro a Kilo I don't think we could rely on that price going forward.
DSM still hold .
Thanks gixer , so I think you worked out you worked out pxs have about 3666 kg And probably about the same amount that still hold , all to be used by August 24 if they don’t get the extention they are looking for ,mm
Dr_H, Back in February 6000 RMB would have been 818 Euro so you weren't far away.
The link to Asim Duttaroys article (Feb this year) doesn't seem to work anymore but he stated that cost of manufacture was now as low as 150 Euro a Kilo

This article (March 2021) from China quotes "ingredients such as FruitFlow Tomato Clear Juice Powder (6000RMB/kg), high phytoene content tomato powder (8000RMB/kg)"
https://mbd.baidu.com/newspage/data/landingsuper?baijiahao_id=1693898004131476920&id=1693898004131476920&wfr=spider&for=pc&third=baijiahao&c_source=kunlun&p_tk=9730STo9J072M1g0xXZRVfXfOzJJ9r8LvLuQGv4skK7MNiAqI8HYeB9K09cgtOn8fiMSVMUcB1umi2hwOL4dYQ2AIERpR0rat9oadroAjcCpXHq2bwDAtOwzJR9p22EoZ2di4FVXwXIzQKC7fm8PxL8YDg%3D%3D&p_timestamp=1675530080&p_sign=e431b0d5367a77fa702f49d6eee0bfe3&p_signature=026274465313f9b0ccec538b807c2596&__pc2ps_ab=9730STo9J072M1g0xXZRVfXfOzJJ9r8LvLuQGv4skK7MNiAqI8HYeB9K09cgtOn8fiMSVMUcB1umi2hwOL4dYQ2AIERpR0rat9oadroAjcCpXHq2bwDAtOwzJR9p22EoZ2di4FVXwXIzQKC7fm8PxL8YDg%3D%3D
So at 6000 RMB = 762 Euro
150 vs 850 wasn’t it?
Hi gixer Can you remind me of the cost to produce ff and what it sells for , I know you have posted this info before but it seems more relevant to know now we have control of the production line , we also know stock numbers for the next year so we could maybe have an idea of income for the next year , .many thanks
I recall that Cinders was a right old ramper.
No point muck raking from so long ago is there.
Was it Keepitsimple?

Exicited around 2009 and because of gixers research it could blow at any time
Unless of course we actually make a profit ! Which of course will have to be reported by an Rns .
Yep, we wi have been trading for 5 months, but only get 2 months of data in Sept, which may not be clear. 6 months from April to September, reported in December, will be where we get clarity, unless we get a trading update before that.
The September update will only show 2 months of full trading because the delay in transferring of stock till February , i’m not expecting too much enhanced revenue until the interims in December which will show the full 6 months of trading after the transfer .imho
So 6 months into the new agreement, we should have sales revenue of perhaps £1.5m and profits materially ahead of what we would have received under the old agreement. We will get an idea in September, but December should give us a clear picture of the current status. We can then start to understand what significant multiples of total FF sales may actually mean.
If that was the case then its just as well it was a fixed level of overheads that were deducted and something that we don't have to pay for anymore.
Well until we do our own sales and marketing anyway.
Gixer
wouldn’t disagree re Fred & Prof, DSM would have paid them as part of their FF overhead.
Re shortages, only IF knows !!!
