Understood, thanks alf. Completely agree with those sentiments.
Trying to work out how to represent Sid James laugh but sadly the keyboard is inadequate!
I did consider asking to participate, but I didn't think what I had to offer was sufficient to make it worthwhile to the company. I kept some funds available if the placing caused a dip, so far that hasn't happened.
Krusty, the comment certainly wasn't aimed at you. We're all well used to reading expressions of impatience, after all the years that's understandable, despite none of us knowing what timescales were involved. When comments stray in to the vindictive is when I object, we all trade as we see, and, IMHO, have no one to blame for our own actions. I volunteer to be the Sid James character, I can do a passable laugh like that.
gixer, point taken.
Krustysmegma, Not saying you are negative but as it was a placing and not an open offer and if I wanted to take part I would have contacted the BOD to see if it was possible. The answer might still have been no but at least I would have tried.
"Infamy, infamy. They've all got it infamy!"
I know how he felt!
gixer/alf, you've both been on here as long as I can remember. I occasionally engage one or both of you in discussion on here (look back at my posting history). I'm not negative about PXS - I hold 1m shares here, why would I be? - but at times over the years things have happened that don't sit right with me, so I flag them up. If you re-read my post (did either of you read ALL of it before replying?) you'll see I'm not being negative at all. So no need for the sledging.
Did I contact Ian Ford? No I didn't, do individual PI's need to make personal requests to the Board for consideration now?
No shortage of t*ts? I'm not sure how you know that alf but certainly as I get older my manboobs are becoming more pronounced. I blame the wine.
By the way alf, Carry On Moaning sounds like the perfect tribute to Babs, can I play the Kenneth Williams character - no, stop messing about!
Well, I bought some discounted shares, in fact a huge amount at less than .75. Not in the placing, mine came at times when this board was awash with Zeus clones with their multi IF's, working for someone with an interest in creating bad sentiment. Apart from Colb, he does the bashing job for free. The last but was sub .60, so not a bad discount at all ehh?
Has it occurred to the moaners that some of the folks taking part in the placing may well have brought contacts and information helpful to progress? The cast of Carry on Moaning can only see negatives, dear old Babs may be gone, but there's no shortage of t*ts.
We have known there was going to be a placing since September.
Did you contact Ian Ford to see if you could participate?
All a bit irrelevant, as going forward there is only one place to buy shares now.
"The placing will also significantly strengthen the Company's capital base and de-risk the business, to the benefit of all shareholders."
It's pointless debate about PIs and have the option to partake. We know the total disregard the board have to PIs here, shown by the total lack of communication/correspondence, so you just need to accept it's never going to happen

"Oh...and those complaing PIs had no offer to join placees, 1 Oct for more than a month the price was below yeaterdays placing price?"
Sorry but that's irrelevant. We've had the Chinese CBEC announcement since then, so you're not comparing apples with apples. Don't get me wrong, I think management has done extremely well to get this placing away at minimal discount and agree that it has significantly derisked the share. But I would have preferred them to be more transparent about where and how they'd raised the money, and as a long-term holder, would like to have had the opportunity to but discounted shares. I don't think that's asking too much is it?
colbaltblue, I would say no as I am pretty sure he couldn't due to regulations.
Looks like Zeusvalhallah is loading up at 0.9p, after missing the 0.35p boat :)
Do you think IF or the others from the BOD took part in the placing? That would have sent a very strong signal to the market!
I don't think they did unless someone can correct me.

give it a rest, the boy did good. Sit back and enjoy the imminent rise.
- BTW it’s good therapy to calculate how much cash shall start coming in on combinations of income per shot and number of worldwide users.

"the nod & wink" as you put it is common practice.
You could hardly have a placing if you don't tell the prospective investor how much you are raising and at what price.
As far as I can see that was the only info in the RNS that we didn't know.
But the PI's weren't privy to the nod & wink were they?
Makes you wonder where IF acquired the placees and why he has absolutely no interest in rewarding shareholders who have paid his very generous salary for a number of years.
Yes, things are beginning to take shape but there's a long way to go. Maybe in 12 months time we can look forward to a profit.
Agree. There just bitter because they thought they would buy at 0.50 and less. IF really needs some praise and thanks for pulling off the bi-health deal and ecoomerce deal off FF+ and the fantastic placing. I do feel frustrated with DSM though. Can't believe we don't have a biggy in the USA. Perhaps they may jump in when they see how much bi-health make next year or 2022 on FF.
gixer
excellent summary, I guess Raymond’s 2.6p (pre SIS) is the one that most remember.

colbaltblue, previous placees?
I am sure they are probably more than happy
August 2016 - 0.24p
May 2017 - 0.50p
July 2017 - 0.50p
September 2018 - 0.40p
December 2019 - 0.40p
and yesterdays at 0.75p
Even the Primary bid placing in July 2015 was at 0.45p
All in profit if they held.
So it's a nod and a wink to the chosen ones invited to take part! The PI is shafted as usual. Mind you, previous placees must rue the day they took part.
"It is expected that admission will become effective and that trading in the New Provexis Shares will commence on or around 23 December 2020 ('Admission').
Could be after Christmas for any TR1
Total shares in issue right now = 2071m x 3% = 62m
Total new shares = 133.3m
Total shares in issue after admission = 2204.3m x 3% = 66.12m
When the new shares are admitted any new Investors breaking 3% should inform the company and any existing shareholders crossing the 3% or 1% thresholds should also inform the company.
With such a large Placing, Monday or Tuesday could see a couple of TR1s....
You can go inside legally as long as you agree/sign to the fact you will not sell any of your shares until the information you are given is made public to the wider market. The RNS clearly states that those who went inside are no longer in possession of any information the rest of the markets don't have now.
'those persons that received such inside information in a market sounding are no longer in possession of such inside information relating to the Company and its securities.'
It seems they went inside prior to the previous RNS regarding the new Distributor and that was they information they received before that and this RNS was published. So those who went inside are free to sell their shares once they are officially theirs.
Hold on. How can anyone be given inside information legally?
