Don't worry folks it's not going to happen. Just heard John McDonnell on the radio. That's all you need to do.
This should tick up nicely now till annual report.
There's the morning drop followed by the rise it couldn't be any more predictable.
Well in theory the compensation should at least cover the costs to date plus some I would have thought - it's a small set back that will reduce Viridors future profit very slightly ( I think it's one of 12) but correct me if I'm wrong - The dividend here is very good and shouldn't be affected and in uncertain times it's as safe as you can get - people have to have water after all !!
OK, so money is tight but what are they going to do with the waste? Chuck it all in the landfill! Another PFI illusion. Government should be using our taxes better and avoid any pfi's IMHO
collected after the last top up and its nice to see the bump in income. Not sure I want to reinvest here right now after the rise. Still this might turn out to be a mistake. Hindsight will let me know, a crystal ball might be a better buy with those divis
Now getting on for five down days.
that this has been creeping up. Nothing big but steady as she goes. I suppose the markets rising too.
Hold all 3 to be sure. Repeat of the Power takaway - how do you pick the next one? - hold the lot! So UU. & SVT too :)
Sorry guys. Nothing against Doncaster or dole people lol, or brexit voters, shame it's divided the nation. Will "zip it" , as advised! Onwards and upwards for pennon . It's a class company and ripe for takeover re weak pound, guaranteed income +RPI.
Prince, I read that different to you. With Martin21 using stereotypes to get his point across in his own comic way, just as the national press did. I suppose you lose body language on bb's which doesn't help either. I didn't really think he actually meant that Doncaster was the hub of all thing investable but just using a quip! Back to pnn, holding its own
The trouble with people like you is your intolerance of another persons view - in other words a bigot - most brexit voters including myself are not racist - please keep it to Pennon relevant stuff or zip it if you make comments like that !
LOL, yes I remember Northumbrian very well, ha ha. I became very wealthy on the back of the Chinese. I thank the wonderful dole claimants from Doncaster, and their racist brexit votes for making UK companies so attractive to foreign investors. Funny old world. GLA
Top investment/Pension funds LOVE UK Water assets - remember Northumbrian?
Interserve are not a specialist engineering contractor in power gen; Doosan Babcock are, and have the project management resource and engineering understanding, to deliver these types of projects. It does beg the question whether tender price, rather than technical capability (and risk assessment), won out in the final decision. What matters is that the error has been recognised.
On track as expected might need to re read the derivative thing again though. Looks like they are dealing with the Viridor issues. Wonder why Interserve were not up to speed? How high do cats bounce or is this now an undead cat. Not sure I like zombie cats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNwCojCJ3-Q
Well Webbs you got your Monday bounce, why Dead Cat. I hope its more Top Cat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykRZbOb1c5c Does that make me Officer Dibble or Benny? Still thats the divi fall back ...... for today anyway.
I think this is due a re-rate upwards as trading update comes on Thursday and should be encouraging but also this will be seen as a fairly safe bet in troubled times. Where else (other than utilities) can you get a guaranteed income and with Pennon you do as people cannot live without water ! Pennon are getting more efficient and are forward thinking with their ERF facilities - like other posters say - keep them - don't let mms scare you into selling - they do this to make money but when you know it's a good one it will always show in the end.
It's losing support in the 770's if this goes below 768 I wouldn't like to say where this could end up.
My share of the century! ............ I expect my individual divis will be bigger than my initial investment by 2117. Might be spending them on all of GSK products though! Shorts on the rise
I see Hargreaves lansdown has made this, share of the decade. Lol
Credit Suisse must have a big short on this and changed there target to 670 to get the price down which was good for Lazard to increase there holding from 7%-8% at 774 or something around that it could be that the m&m's need more shares so they take the price lower to get shares out of weak hands.
I just think this is all looking strange especially when it comes to 3:30 -5:00 looks like someone wants to keep this from rising it has ranged from 830-765 for the last 3 months with loads of dramatic drops. For no real reasons. I prefer to go short on most shares then long I think it's more likely to go down then up m&m's want to take money from you then give it to you.
See you back on Tuesday then Webbs? My train of though is more aligned with callerone's. Any particular reasons you expect it to go down even if things are good?
