A nice buy @80p, and plenty of buys from 75-78p should put a nice base above 70p, we’ll attack 80p again next week!
Still a chance for mrc to get in under 80p.
GLA
My wife thinks it might be Warren Buffet. She holds a lot of PMG and is often right about things.
Has a venue been chosen for the 80p party yet?
Buyers are testing the strength of the share that's why there were strong late buys yesterday at close of play.
Don't see why today will be any different as we are valued at £1.64 yet sitting at £0.79.9999
May seem overbought but bulls strong here. Maybe another PM run. Seems that volumes increase in afternoon. Maybe a buyer in a different time zone?
Again I’m surprised at the strength of this rise and no pullback yet. A pullback would probably be healthy but I wouldn’t mind seeing a new 80-100p range come into play.
Then things look really interesting
Break out confirmed. Big buys relentless over last few sessions. Someone knows something imo. This is more than a technical breakout.
With commodity prices as they are you’d think Parkmead (and/or its assets) would be very much in the eyeline of a variety of oil & gas companies (small and large). That’s without the windfall tax incentives.
Very exciting times now and the market seems to be waking up. Still work to do but I don’t think there has been a better time to capitalise.
It doesn't seem that long back you where painting TC as some kind of messiah mrc,
What changed?
Lol a major
Get a grip.
Nearly touched £0.80 today should push through tmrw onwards to a £1......
Not sure if Tom Cross is really this smart or just super lucky. All I know is that the laggard sare price of the last 10 years is no longer remotely justifible in the new energy landscape. PMG couldnt have written a better script. Everything it has built seems to have fallen into a fairytale narrative; The gas valuation is rocketing; The alternative energy plays have now come to the fore in the governments attention to help future energy shortage; The plans for north sea are now a priority with govt backing; And the debt is not an issue;I would not be surprised if a major begins to sniff around PMG
Certainly nice not to see a major pullback this morning, which is what I was expecting after such a rise. Perhaps it will gain in strength from here and find a new range - 70-100p?
Rise continues going to bust £.80.today ?
Went past 82p last time. Much more on offer here now. Macros better. Deals in the making Skerryvore GPA Platypus? Wind farm. Still very cheap.
MRC
It appears that you are playing a game with yourself.
£1.64 is our value yet we sit at £0.74 there Historically the share has been £3.30 pre placings. Oil slump followed by Covid has put the world's production out of order put Russia in the mix and we then get a boost from the Government on relief tax to get the remaining oil out of the ground.
Interesting is the fact that Parkmead released the RNS for the launch of the GPA farm out after the chancellor had came to Aberdeen last week to explain the Energy Profits Levy in full.
This not only helps Parkmead achieve there goal but for every other minnow in the North Sea.
Orcadian Energy are looking for a farm in Hurricane Energy are cash rich and wanting to use the tax to benefit them selves.
How many other oil companies are out there wanting to invest there profits rather than pay the 25% EPL.
It's a no brainer.........EU in turmoil....UK have plenty Energy
options to use for there own benefit.
£1+ very shortly,Bring it home Tom !
A balanced view does not make me unhappy. And no I am not invested, and have no intention to anytime soon - you may have noted my concerns about Yesterdays RNS.
I’m glad that you all are making a paper profit. I just doubt this MC is sustainable with out substantial news to back it up.
BJoe
Lol sorry I did it in a hurry
OK SotB - thanks, when I read your post earlier I didn't realise that was where it came from because you didn't say so

BJoe it's pasted at the start of this thread !
More going on with Platypus than met the eye. Every effort will be made to expedite gas production atm. Parkmead and Cal will be ready to go with all plans complete. It’s coming back.
Can somebody please copy / paste the IC article
Except they relinquished the licence, so can't just 'take it back'. They would need to apply for it again, with other interested parties. And there may well be competition for it now with deep pockets and proven capabilities of making it happen.
I suspect they simply couldn't get the funding themselves when they had the opportunity to take it on as operator previously - for reasons already explained.
