I will say it again SoTB. That is not how it works. The operator charters boats.
I don’t know if it is for skerryvore. Perhaps it’s a typo on that website.
Anyway, seems like your claim to “know” is yet more rubbish.

All Bobert knows is how much gas is coming out of Holland......It's pretty irrelevant considering there's two wells going to be drilled in a few weeks time both with a 50% chance of success gives a positive vibe one of them will come in if not both !
As you say them that took CDFs took a chance without much consideration ( My heart bleeds Not ) boo hoo.
SoTB - that’s not how it works.
-------------------------------------
If Cross stated at last year's AGM he would bet his house that Skerryvore wouldn't happen 2022 would you believe him ?
Hi doyle172
If you go to the link for the boat hire it states quite clearly in letters Rig move Stena Spey 3 days firm hire then day to day hire till rig move complete.
Now at some point during the mobilization of the boats the Stena Spey required some extra work done which wasnt accounted for after finishing with Total. The Spey is currentley at Scapa Flow where repairs of some sorts are taking place.
I can't think why we would be going to Skerryvore as there's been no publicity and therefore why would it be cloak and dagger.
So the obvious has to be Athena for Decom .Get the Subsea trees on land for refurbishing. Collaboration with service companies probably assisting keeping the cost down for GPA.
Simples !
SoTB - that’s not how it works.
PMG will get a bill for their share of Athena costs, but the operator is responsible for the nuts and bolts of the operation. Ithaca will charter their own boats.
Hey SofTB. What is your theory? Not sure I understand. Hopeful of big news from many fronts soon
well, the SP moving to 80p surprised us all, and had upset the people who took CDFs that it would drop to 40p again... sometimes you win, sometimes you lose....
clearly something is in the works. rob12, what do you reckon is about to be announced?
atb,
L3
Ithaca operator could well have given Parkmead the nod.
I'm sure Skerryvore would be announced long before they chartered three boats. The Stena Spey is probably getting repairs in Scapa that's why the boats got knocked off the spot hire.
There are 5 Subsea trees at Athena refurbishments take about 18 months new trees take three years and approx $millions. Big saving for GPA .Interesting how the three boats all left from Montrose BakerHughes/GE have there wellheads and subsea trees base there !
As far as I know Ithaca are operator and decomm work is due to start next year.
If I have an ulterior motive why would I speculate about skerryvore? Surely that would be a good development?
MRC
Parkmead hold the biggest equity in the Athena oil field
So why would they not be responsible for the removal of the subsea package. The Stena Spey has obviously needed some sort of repairs before it can start a new contract having just finished abandoning wells with Total.
As I've said before you and Bobert have Ulterior motives in your best interests. Very sad !
Oh how clever of you SoTB
I guess it’s not very interesting news then if you feel the need to constantly pump this. If it was something good you would be happy to sit back and wait for the big rise?
Bobert
I know but since you have blocked me you and your pal MRC will have to keep guessing.......Now that's funny !
DYOR
Skerryvore I guess, but seems strange…
PMG are not operator at Athena? So unlikely they would be chartering boats for that.
good consolidation, looks poised to go again at 80p and break through
Yes and the SP at that time was about half of what it is now!!
Gas price doubling does not add £40m to the market cap.
Anyone any more ideas why at the end of July, PMG would have chartered three supply vessels out of Montrose to go up to the Stena Spey rig parked up in Scapa Flo and return?
(See fixtrues and click 'show all' button):

PMG have no operations in UK unless it is possibly connected to further decommissioning of Athena?
Stena Spey is hot stacked and showing as available until end next year:

Seems strange?
One of mrc's nuggets from Oct 2021
" PMG are making obscene amounts of cash from the Dutch gas assets" Dutch ttf price now 70 euros per MWh.
Dutch ttf today 199 euros per MWh and has been higher!
Maybe that's a reason for the rise?
GLA
And who are you? The BB police? PMSL
PS no one is really interested in what you think, run along now...
Are you giving advice?
I think I would be taking that profit. It’s been a nice run but there is always a pull back, especially when the rise was based on so little (IC article).
A lot of GPA now appears to be priced in, and personally I think chances of that going ahead are slim.
I was tempted to sell @79p on the expectation of the sp dropping back below 75p, but two things stopped me, gas prices will remain high but could go much higher given the political situation and secondly, I would not want to be out when news does come through for PMG.
So sat tight on up to 80+% profit and sitting back, knowing that PMG is one of the best bets to counter the energy and cost of living crisis in the long run..
Get a life MRC ! I've just bought another 37000.. @ 73p these will be over a pound before Christmas.
DYOR good luck all
I guess the big buyer is now a big seller?
Looking very weak now.
Still 50% shy of true value.........£1+ for xmas
