Our swords are bloodstained from the tiresome fight. The design on our shields faded and dinted by the stroke of others. But we are not finished yet. We stand undefeated by the dark ruler Karimov. We are similar in spirit to the 300 of King Leonidas. Our loyalty unquestionable to the Oxus cause! Oxus are a modern day William Wallace. We will not be told what to do
how many more years for them they only started in 2012!!
RICHHHHHH ££$$, rusoro mining also one of calunius to look out for!
Still not sure what you re getting at by mentioning AIM at all As if the result and quantum are not a function of AIM why mention AIM at all? I remain confused as I see no bearing on the final payout having anything to do with AIM be it 10p or more or even far less!!
Mike I didn't say AIM had anything to do with the result, it obviously doesn't - I was referring to the expectation of investors in AIM which is usually unrealistic. I would love a 70p result
I would think being on AIM has nothing to do with it when in arbitration. The arbiters do not look at which stock exchange you are in when considering claims or deliberating on quantum......I hope
I would be ecstatic with 30p. I am referring to the s/p after the award (if OXS win), and after everything is paid off. I looked at a couple of winning cases a while ago (posted by someone on this BB), after they stated that it was common that the winning company received about 33% of their initial claim, which in these cases was what happened. Anyway I will be happy if we win and anything over 10p per share is a bonus to me. Maybe you think I have low expectations, but after years investing in AIM shares I am being realistic.
The result will come when they finish it.... For the record though December has been my month of choice since the summer, historically speaking and looking at past arbitration results. I am also getting tempted to top up at this level..
Frankly, and remember that this is my opinion, I think we have done this one to death. I think we know as much as the BoD at the moment. We know from the horse's mouth that the lawyers said "in the very near future", and presumably they heard that from the Arbitration Panel. It just appears to me that they work on a different time scale to us, and this statement may mean something completely different to 70 and 80 year old members. Just think when you are that old, and someone says that it is likely you will pass away in the "very near future". I would work hard to make that very near future as far away as possible!!! I hope I'm not that old though when the decision comes out!
required from the BOD now imvho....even if its "in the very, very near future" lol
40p to 70p would be considered as a decent award by most of the long term holders.
30p would only mean a 35-40% award including discount to market. This is very close to what would be considered a loss to oxs!
Freudian slip :)
Who on earth could have imagined that it would take this long. Over 20 months now post hearing I hope it's been worth the wait.

30p is only about 200-220 mill quid
Guinea faces second ICSID claim over bribery probe Tom Jones • Monday, 30 November 2015 (4 hours ago) Companies linked to Israeli billionaire Beny Steinmetz have lodged a second ICSID claim against Guinea over the revocation of mining rights in the wake of a bribery scandal, adding a new basis for jurisdiction and claims for further damages.
That would be great, but if you look at the average compensation in other cases it would be exceptional, but entirely possible.
Thats my prediction
RS never stated end of November, (probably comes from Lselees post of a conversation with him - apparently he stated could be a week, 2 weeks or 2 months - from memory!). I don't think he knew (or was advised) of an exact date, but he would not have issued those words in an RNS unless it was a fact. Obviously the words are open to interpretation but personally I think it is about now. I am amused how the s/p has dropped - what has changed? - except the result is closer. I feel OXS will win but I do think that most posters have an inflated view of the possible compensation. GLA
If only ! Would be the icing on the cake... ;)
That's because he's been in the lawyers office all day going through the award and will prep the RNS tomorrow when back for release tomorrow after trading finishes. Failing that I guarantee it will be in the very near future
As an unwelcome option to a celebratory party, I would be comforted by a wake if it went the other way. Perhaps my first filteree would organise it?
I think the timeline I have is latest next week, reason being someone I think it had been stated that RS said his idea of very near future was end of November, so I think that implies this week, but I think an extra week only because some delays might occur because of the Paris attack, just my opinion so I would say if we don’t hear anything by Friday 11 Dec then i will be a bit ticked off
I'm aware of that. I'm not expecting leaks but I wonder what information is being passed by the lawyers for two predictions of time scales to be issued with each of them seemingly false.
