Agnico merger.https://seekingalpha.com/news/3774947-kirkland-lake-shareholders-approve-agnico-eagle-merger-deal
Am I the only one relieved to see NO rns today?
It's certainly testing when the share price continually falls and it's against your intuition to buy more but look at this as a fantastic opportunity to accumulate as much as you can.Never thought I would see these prices again tbh and they may go even lower.Crazy given the potential and chances of success.Keep the Faith guys...it just takes time but we will gef there...eventually!
Agree. Brad does need to start looking at ways to improve shareholder value as the sp has been decimated over the last few months. I would think many are in the red now with the sp at it's present price and sentiment is very poor. This was meant to be a news rich period and it has proved to be the complete opposite. We don't get dividends so all we can rely on is the shareprice going up to justify our investment. This will come good eventually but the journey there has been a very tough road to navigate
To be frank I've went through the same process re Brad so I don't think it is out of turn to criticise. At the end of the day it's your money that's invested and if things don't seem to be going the way you think they should be you have every right to call him out, especially when there are a good few posters holding more than what a director is. By the same token though I think he is genuine, but is perhaps being quashed by the majors some what. Censored into not saying anything out of line and it wouldn't surprise me if they want omi's share price to be cheap for a possible future acquisition on their terms. This is where JVs are going to be important to Omi in future, it's proven that the timeline of majors pace has a detrimental effect to our share price. If Brad has Omi at heart, he must know he needs to try and add value elsewhere and let Anza and majors do their thing. Really hoping he's going to take the bull by the horns soon and hoping for a solid drill campaign.
The sp has just been on a contual decline for such a long time now. The sp performance is akin to a share with nothing going for it. OMI clearly has many positives but i cannot understand why the sp is just dropping day after day to it's present stupidly low level. Does seem that it is destined to go below 10p sadly as it just feels bigger forces are happy to see the sp go as low as possible. Still got my eye on another top up in the next few days however low the sp goes. The sp has gone to level way below undervalued now imo
I recall Brad saying in one of the interviews that he wasn't a wealthy man and he was still paying school fees which would finish next year and would free up some cash.
He said in a recent email to one of us he wished he could buy but currently cannot due to price sensitive information. I think the news rich period was thrown into despair when Agnico decided to take over operationship much earlier than expected. The Orosur BOD had obviously spent all there time planning Anza only to be pushed aside by Agnico.
Bhargav, cheers for the cash clarification . All good. Still adding but getting a bit overweight . De risk in 20 s still my strategy . I like being de risked if possible and running On free if possible with the option to re buy lower . Having said that , I originally set 10 p sell limit and kept raising it into the thirties on first rise so depends somewhat on the nature of the rise.
Interesting year ahead .
Hi Imp and thanks for your reply. It’s good to hear someone’s else’s take on my thoughts.
Best wishes to you also
Hi, Sian
Re Brad "stringing us along," anything's possible, and I remember some irate shareholder calling him "bandit Brad," a year ago, at the time of the fund-raise. But I don't see it myself; I think he's honest.
Best wishes
Hi Chickenlegs. I’ve been invested in this for over a year now with a decent holding and an average of 22p.
I know Brad has said he wished he could buy in but couldn’t due to holding market sensitive info. I think he said this in one of the earlier webinars.
Yes he has bought in at a higher price but to in my eyes a very small amount.
The news rich period for was a big disappointment I’m sure others would agree.
I’m just wondering if Brad has been stringing us along. I think he said he’s worked in all aspects of this business such investor, broker and director/ceo.
Maybe I’m talking out of turn here. I’m a long holder and can see the it coming good in the long term. I just don’t like to be played with in the meantime.
Sianhan. Brad said he wasn't buying (wished he could) who knows what that means really as I'd expect a purchase realistically at this price when he has bought at much higher levels previously.
Webbs took alot of stick and I have to say I disagreed with his prediction but credit where it's due he's called it right so far. Where are you Webbs? Hopefully tho the fundamentals play out here as surely it's too strong to be at these levels for too long.
Still watching to see if any directors buy in.

RE: I hope we get good news01 Jul 2021 10:14
This is getting walked down down under 10p, then I bet the directors will buy in a decent amount.
Agree its way too oversold for months now. And it should bounce back which at some point..
That's what "no news rich period" does, however it may touch our on-board prophet Webbs 10p forecast before we know it.
Last week i was asking in the GGP chat why people would sell GGP at 14p when it was oversold and the placing was insignificant as to the market cap. I managed to more than double my investment there at 14p. Now it is breaking to the upside. The same should happen here shortly. This is way too oversold now.
Yes, was thinking the same, not all rns's but the important ones as in the Columbia updates, as in July 6th when omi went up 11p on the day, that's 100% on the current sp, so we know if good news lands this can move quickly up, hold tight and add if you can, omi at year's low now gla lth.
Another top up for me. Tomorrow is RNS Tuesday. For some reason most of our updates are a Tuesday. At this price the risk reward is even more appealing, specially given that the retrace is not justifiable looking at the work done in the last 12 months by the company.
Yes 6m US as of end of August and major partners funding next drill campaign. Not bad stats for a junior. I still think 20p is cheap with an announcement of drill campaign, any word of significant drill or escalation of works or agnico involving themselves deeper in the project or of omi will be excellent catalysts for the price, especially as we enter the drill phase. If they secure licences for the rockstar plots again another catalyst. If other plots are included in next drill which seems to be the case and these areas strike high grades you could be holding onto your hats. Throw in a JV and that landscape totally changes for Omi. These uncertain times really should be where Omi flourishes. With spectre of new variant I would like some sort of update this week.
ST- And as we know, Agnico have increased their exploration budget to their historical high targets this Oct, and if the 'money no object and ramping activities' turn true, we stand a good chance here. Agnico team is already active on the ground negotiating permit and land access.
Seingred- We've $6m in the bank gathering dust, $2m to come by next Sept'22 and potential millions through exercise of 11m warrants for 25.5p .
And as I said earlier, I would like to see them bump the revenue as a sign of added confidence to my holdings, however, $4m is not a small amount especially when it is based on 'qualifying expenditures' as their prime motive at this stage is to drill as many holes they can to read the surface potential and not to prove the resource at this stage before deciding on 51% jv call. In other words, even if they don't go for extra miles beyond $4m, its not an end to the world here to me.
As regarding 20p clearance, its your call. For me, anything up to 50p (which is not even 100m Mcap) is an insult and cheap as chips to share price for longer term.
Gl.
Yes Dr it makes perfect sense if Agnico did up their holding. Would also generate a nice amount of cash added to the OMI balance sheet.
Yes ST, nice find. It’d make sense for them to match Newmonts stake, let’s hope if we do do any placings it will involve Agnico and at a premium.
Let's hope Agnico increase their stake in us as well.
