Get rid of OMG Life and this is a solid company.
makes me laugh
Just stumbled upon this company! To me that camera idea looks terrible! Pants reviews also from what I've seen online. Really liking the other parts of the business though!
double trades.............
Read the last couple of annual reports for the buried information. This product was doomed from the start.
I rest my case. This is an overpriced and unwanted product with no meaningful future. Read between the lines of the doublespeak and you can see they can hardly give them away. The world of Autography..........................jeez. There is no chance this will make money and the people marketing this must be absolutely deluded to publish this utter pap

big volumes/trades here today...........
Update on trading for the financial year ended 30 September 2013. Revenues for the Group are expected to be ahead of the previous financial year but slightly behind market expectations of £30.4m. Out of our four businesses, the three most established subsidiaries - Vicon, Yotta and 2d3 - were all profitable for the full year. Vicon's House of Moves business had a difficult year but both Yotta and 2d3 achieved their respective market expectations. The Group (excluding OMG Life) now expects adjusted pre-tax profit for the period of £3.0m compared to market expectations of £3.9m (excluding OMG Life). As previously highlighted at the time of the Interim Results, US sequestration has delayed the timing and shape of certain deals. Despite winning significant new software deals during the period, 2d3 has seen contract signature delays chiefly as a result of the US Government shutdown and this impacted its overall performance. During the period, OMG Life produced and shipped its first consumer product, Autographer, which was made generally available for sale on 29 July 2013. The Group has sold and shipped its first devices to customers. Feedback from customers on the product's usability and the results it can generate have been positive - testament to the investments made in production processes and supply chain. Compared to OMG Life market expectation the adjusted loss is expected to be £0.4m higher. The Group as a whole finished the year with a cash balance of £7.8m (FY12: £4.3m). Mayrise Limited, the business acquired by Yotta in July of this year, has performed strongly and is delivering tangible benefits to the Yotta business. The first examples of cross-selling between Mayrise and Yotta have already been recorded, just two months after the deal, and the Mayrise business on a standalone basis has performed better than our expectations. The Group will announce Preliminary Results for the financial year ended 30 September 2013 on Thursday 5 December 2013.
a 7am RNS at TVZ re takeover..:)
what happened at MIRL?
Are you serious??
I can't believe it
As said, It's a nice peice of kit and there is scope in the Market place for equipment of this nature and I suspect there will be upgrades ( technically ) too. I must agree the current purchase price is expensive and one would hope if sales increase the price could be dropped. More importantly at least, is that OMG is looking for niches within the Market with new concepts. Yotta DCL has been awarded the five year contract and that's a neat move in the Highways observation sector. Let's hope there are more contracts of this nature.
I to apologise I might have jumped the gun at your post but I did think you where taking a pop at me all I can say is its a new product and the price will come down with more sales.you may be right but with refinement it could be useful if we don't give things a chance we are going to go backwards.
Actually I never called anyone an idiot. What i said was that only an ill-informed idiot would accept your view. There are many people on here who are gullible and incapable of carrying out basic research and simply believe what they are spoon fed. Perhaps, rather than getting into an almost inevitable slanging match, you could detail why you think this product is so good. From my perspective this is a product that screams out to be developed as an app for an iphone. In 12 months time this product will no longer be saleable at at £400 at present the price point is far too high. The product is almost ceratinly already being on the verge of redundancy, if indeed it was ever really genuinely worthwhile. The inference that the product is so good as to be used by all of the sectors you had named is just not credible. The offering in simple terms is inadequate and the 5 year contract value is likely to be either a loss leader or at best marginally profitable. By all means state an opinion, however when someone takes the time and trouble to try and help you out please accept it with good grace. In my view you may not have researched this enough and if you take the time to reserach it further you may or may not come to accept my viewpoint. There are way too many idiots on here who spout total nonsense and for the avoidance of doubt I was not calling you an idiot. I was merely trying tio point out that any sensible person, properly informed would not accept your view. If this was insulting to you I apologise, nonetheless it is my view.
