Yest that sounds great , but why would you need to test everyone for antibodies. Surely just a cross section to get a picture. I would be happy with just our capacity being filled, but at the moment we have no idea. The market seems to have already made its mind up. Which is why we need some kind of an update
immune response, not my view but the view coming from one of our RTC partners. That could be soon after any vaccine has been administered since vaccines are not 100% but also for some duration after vaccination to ensure continued immune response is there. For as long as vaccination is necessary to protect against Covid then antibody testing will be needed. That could be for many years yet.
A slow beginning right now with the RTC AbC-19 rapid antibody test but it has all the potential to grow into something very significant very soon as it goes hand-in-hand with Covid-19 vaccinations.
It's only money.....there are people dying out there!
Anyway, to pick your spirits up I will tell you of my plight........
I stopped trading a few years ago as i was just treading water but saw an opportunity when the markets crashed this year so got back in. I only buy and go long on stock, I never short anymore. Did fantastically well with quick in and outs probably holding stock for no more than 3 or 4 days. I then got hooked on RR as it was a good volatile share to trade. Lost a bit of my gains as it dropped heavy prior to the RI.
Some nice person on this BB came over to the RR board to promote ODX and my head was turned. I sold my large RR holding at £1.10.....(for those who do not know this was the BOTTOM!)
I placed my funds into ODX at more or less the high. (Check the charts....the RR low correlates to the ODX high)
I began to average down as ODX took a nose dive and I have ran out of funds to average down any more.
My large average holding sits at 81p.
All my choice, so it's on me.
Hope this cheers someone up as we do like to hear stories of other peoples misfortunes when you are under the pump.
Also I am holding and this baby will turn eventually. It is not "if" I recover my money but simply "when".
ODX will make money on the back of the AZN vaccine. They go hand-in-hand together. The AZN vaccine will be the cheapest and the easiest to store, making it a compelling choice for most countries. I therefore see ODX being in great position to take advantage of the rollout of this vaccine over the next 12 months. If we get 25% of 3 billion tests then the current SP is going to look like the bargain of the decade!!!

I'm building cash and waiting.
A lot of Covid related stocks were down today. Vaccine hasn't been rolled out yet & testing is still required for the foreseeable. All I know is there are some huge Government Tenders for Covid tests & services in the pipeline.
Well said..........
I'm afraid you have got me wrong. I am a genuine holder, and wish for this company to be the best it can be. I apologise if my comments earlier came across as a deramp, it was simply a frustrated rant. If I had more money to lower my average I would, but have Christmas to pay for first. Being nearly 50% down is frustrating but I just need to trust my research that this will be profitable. What I don't trust are the opinions of other investors as they are the ones that control the sp, and going by these past few weeks seems apparent that people don't know what they are on about
“The self test does mention "to determine if an individual is immune to SARS-CoV-2", but wouldn't vaccine effectiveness monitoring be on a POC basis ?”
This would apply in no immune certification was available. So with any mass activity a test will be necessary, so antibody if vaccinated or had it and antigen if not eg theatre cinema football rugby etc. It does leave the question what happens to the 10/30% that may not take the vaccine antibodies
with one or two very small exceptions every stock has tanked since Pfizer announced their 90% effective, expensive, not yet approved, not easy to transport very limited supply vaccine. followed by Moderna 95% effective, not as expensive but not cheap, not yet approved, fairly easy to transport, even more limited supply, vaccine and then this week the Astra Zeneca, 90% effective in the right dosage, cheap, not yet approved, easily transported and stored 3 billion doses available vaccine.
These are all good news but none will remove the need for all the other tests, masks and several other potential vaccines for many months or even a couple of years - so why is every stock tanking ? Complete panic by PI's ? Lack of comprehension about what is happening. Stitch up by major companies ? Wish I knew - any theories ? I'm holding the stocks I have by the way not sold any - just getting poorer every day for reasons that elude me.
Oh H.Q1994....
Where do I start with you and a reply that will justify my time. Even the most fickle of investors can see the game you're playing , extremely transparent and a beg for a cheap entry, well done however, as with yours and many on heres efforts you have created that gap for a nice buy op.
What a bloodbath today has been, not even had chance to read half the posts in here and from what I've seen already, I don't particularly want too. Shame really because this kinda thing happens a lot when the sp of a stock rapidly declines, you get posters that come out the closet and spread negative views on matters they know little if nothing about.
Well done to all those genuine holders who are brave enough to hold, and perhaps add here ;-)
I just hope we're still in the 40s come payday as id love to add a few more to the collection.

I asked Paul if he had any view to share as to why our sp has been dropping.....today in particular
have no additional information on why the share price is dropping today in particular. Although the market is not necessarily rational at the moment and all testing companies are down. Investors are certainly becoming impatient on news on MHRA approval and orders and we know this is something they are particularly keen to hear on and those who have lost patience will have sold
Close to bankruptcy or not, my faith in the board delivering is diminishing by the day.
If there was some thing worth while to put into an RNS then I'm sure they would have done so and at least tried to prevent the share price from eroding to the placing price
TWatcher.
Its me again. It seems that Roche have their own antibody test, as have Oxford/ AZ.
"The test is the latest addition to the comprehensive Roche diagnostic portfolio to help healthcare systems combat COVID-19 through testing in the laboratory and at the point of care"......"Performing a combination of the Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S and Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 tests can also help to more effectively define what percentage of a given population has developed antibodies (seroprevalence) against SARS-COV-2, especially in low to moderate seroprevalence settings.3 Knowing a given population’s seroprevalence is important in understanding how to contain the spread of the virus, as well as how to safely ease lockdown restrictions."
Why would they bother , if it was not required.

Sorry upomega did not mean to plagiarise but could not let that comment go unchallenged.
On the gov.uk document dated 4 days ago, the intended use and the list of other possible uses for different profles for either the poc or self-test, makes no specific mention of vaccine effectiveness monitoring.
The self test does mention "to determine if an individual is immune to SARS-CoV-2", but wouldn't vaccine effectiveness monitoring be on a POC basis ?
But you would think that if vaccine roll out is going to be our big usage, someone might have thought to mention it on the government document.
Thats what i posted at the weekend. The company was not going babkrupt and previous placings were offered at a discount to the select few. His actions of late however honourable is certainly undoing any good that he bought to the company in the past. The timing of sales could not have been worse.inmv
I'm a punk because I want to sell get a grip its business
A butch or a sell hey?
Wow did not expect drop to this level but fear it nay test 43p trend line before uptick if there is any good news on 30th Nov, I'm still holding average at 67p ouch, one thing I don't get is if ODX are manufacturing these tests then surely they know its a real deal otherwise why take risk in increasing production capacity unless they got it all wrong
Did you research say when Snellar saved ODX from "bankruptcy"? Unfortunate term was used others may call may have called it an investment! Also think you will find board has changed since then.
It will frustrate you slightly more to know that my partner, NHS worker, is now testing weekly with an Innova product...
ODX need to get someone at the front end wrapping further orders up and fast.
The sp was 43p when that Oxford vaccine & the RTC link up. If that was BS. What is stopping this heading back down to that mark???
Jesus folks, what is the next vaccine news going to do to this stock.
It might actually be worth holding if you have a very long term game plan but otherwise, id be out and buying back considerably lower. Good luck
