so you think it's curtains then eh? where do they go from here?
tandem? to what purpose? you think I want back in at a lower price? ha
I once held a lot of these shares and have followed the company on a weekly basis, looking to buy back in (as I said previously). I don't see why I shouldn't express my disgust at the TW/Reynolds stitch up, and all the half-truth. My warnings to holders are genuinely felt, having lost money here myself (albeit only 1K - I would have been losing 17K as of today).
and researcher working in tandem it seems...lol!
Old news gets fresh views and I still pmsl!!!
can I ask why you are here all of a sudden?? wonder what your motive is eh? it's not like we have asked for your wisdom is it?
only just seen what a disaster looks like I'm stuck here my loss is far too big to take.
no games here kop - the MMs know there's no buying motivation for at least 3months and loads of uncertainty...
don't believe all you see there not all sells............mm's playing their usual games !!!
no, sold some at between 10/11p..lol still got a few though. If Thermo still back them they will be ok
hope you got out in the 5s Bakky?
I have a few hours to look through the delights of AIM, yes
crawled out from under your stone I see.Giving it plenty aren't you today eh!
Nah, theyre going to court for more copyright infringement lol!!!! https://www.illumina.com/company/news-center/press-releases/press-release-details.html?newsid=2299162
there could be a tiny bounce back later today - that would be the moment to sell. Slide likely to resume in the morning once the news is digested and reported fully....
Indeed. This was always a risky prospect, but is almost certainly now in big trouble from here. As great as TW tends to be at spotting duff companies to avoid like the plague, his buy calls are regularly pretty terrible.
I think all holders should be aware of the dangers here and sell if they can, then wait until after the appeal to decide if they still want to support the company. The SP will continue to slide until that point and sales will suffer. A bad outcome from the appeal will destroy the company. Do yourselves a favour and get some cash back now rather than see it whittled away over Xmas etc - it's not worth the anxiety.
they have to be taken to court for collusion at some point don't they??
is that really going to happen?
The market got it spot on with this one. My favourite quote : The SP always tells you a story. And the market never believed in a win here with the sp languishing for so long and now a good 30% or so cheaper. Probably not even worth a punt at this price.
Yeh right there mate. Another Winnifrith and Reynolds success.... Great news for San Diego's lawyers as Illumina heads to other courts with this ruling waving about. PMSL as usual!!!!
The BOD didn't know the verdict, and even if there was doubt, did you really expect them to say "we think we might infringe"? They've probably done all they could to mitigate the risk by diversifying. I suspect that if licencing terms were offered by Illumina at earlier stages in the proceedings, that they were at a level that would have not made the business viable.
Genuinely gutted for everyone. Managed to get out so I guess this is goodbye. Remember money is not the most important thing in life but your health and your family.... assuming you like them that is! Take care everyone. Grape
If what you say is true about the reason for delaying, then the board have been telling porkies all along.
