So he now says he had no shares but had all the time of an unemployed,, unswattable wasp to post endlessly on this board a load of crap to try & get you other investors to sell up on the cheap. Less credibility than Jimmy Saville in a nursery!
Yes, I got 90% of my holding out, left 10% in just on the off chance it would turn. It didn’t so I sold up completely shortly afterwards.
Flip Flop :" Do tell me when I said I had a 10% loss here."
May 22nd 14:07pm :
" Got 90% out at 118.4. So predictable that an up day would turn negative. GLA."
Remind me how much profit you’re in here Paddyboy?
A 2% profit (give or take) on tens of thousands of pounds in one day is not to be sniffed at, at face value, but the risk/reward seems quite high for such a trade IMO. A tight stop loss and you could easily be mugged by those who control such things too.
Anyway and FWIW, my little side pot trade here will net me about a couple of hundred quid if/when 120p hits, so the drinks will certainly not be on me! Even with the trading fees and SDLT, I prefer to hold 'traditional' shares.
My core holding is currently below 10K as well, so only small potatoes :) GLA.
Can't read a balance sheet but can read the bit on CFD adverts which says 'You will lose all your pocket money!' clown!
Do tell me when I said I had a 10% loss here. I made a profit the first time round because I act’s right down during the drivers strike expecting it to recover shortly afterwards. Then I waited for the TU, divi reinvestment, but it just wasn’t going anywhere so I sold up for a small profit.
Flip flop
well if you sold out previously with a 10% loss as you said having no doubt bought "tens of thousands of shares" ..then your buy with "tens of thousands of shares" today...isnt going to make up for that.... now is it
so...you telling porky pies ..... NO SURPRISES THERE
enjoy your Big Mac, little boy
CFD paddy, no trading fees or stamp duty, just a spread of about 0.5%. You learn something new everyday Paddyboy.
You couldn’t filter me for long could you? I share too much wisdom.
Do you really think nobody else made a profit
PC, you may see 3p as 3p, but some of us buy tens of thousands of shares at a time so it multiples you see.
I dare say I’m the only one here who has made an overall profit on this share (and I haven’t shorted).
haha , the green coffin claims to have traded for a 2p profit. trading fees & stamp duty would make that a bizarre trade even on quite large amounts. he has no money. lost half of his bubble gum on asos. this must be the biggest ******* i've seen darkening these chat boards for a while. probably needed 50p for the electric meter over the weekend!
QD, i am sure you are headed for asos again.. good riddance
Flip Flop - 3p profit on a tiddly small bet..whoopy do... gets you Big Mac for lunch ... run along now ..must have been an exciting half term for you
Well done QD, but please don't come back trolling again now.
Pushing past R1, R2 and hopefully R3 will be the new S1 level.
Pullback usually happens in the afternoon, so I just sold the holding I bought this morning.
Cheers guys. Nice tidy profit.
Well , looks like it was all planned as an end of month buy cheap in the UT and then pile in on the 1st June , with Directors acting on that.... to turn thing around by the weekend
Tues - UT 779,901 shares@105.70p
Weds - UT 849,474 shares@106.474P
Thurs - 2m@108.35p,2m@108.35p,3.6m@108.35p
Fri - Director Buys
First time this has risen and risen in ages. Could be shorts have given up?
I dipped into Futr and that lost all the gains from the director buy the same day so bodes well here that this just keeps on climbing.
Lots of buys, orders filling up nicely. Great news today. This is primed over the next few weeks to get over 130.
Flip Flop - its all just a bit sad!
Always like to see inside buying. Been a fair amount of it in many of my stocks recently too. Hopefully bodes well. Meanwhile, I took a few more here today myself. That tranche I am looking to offload around 120p or so hopefully. If we see a market pull back that brings this one back to that 102p or so level that I had my eye on, I will likely take another few to add to the longer term pot. Would be happy enough not to get the chance though! GLA.
Well tomorrow there will be plenty of NEX coaches going from Manchester to Wembley .... a large convoy of coaches heading for London !!
I guess the Directors were collectively wanting to give a signal of confidence that things really aren't so bad as the market is suggesting ...but .. maybe didn't want to buy huge amounts at the bottom.....the City actually doesn't always take too well when Directors buy at the bottom , and thus take advantage of the shorters and Bankers work to get the price there ....the Directors "might" now add to this after the H1 results and be willing to pay more at that time if necessary
Remains to be seen ....business and the markets are still in a somewhat cautious, tip-toe mood ..moving as data comes in and provides direction
It is interesting ...because I dont really know how they decide what inside knowledge is deemed sufficient to prevent buying .....they must surely have more knowledge on recent trading and the direction of H1 results..... maybe if it is all still within reported guidance and released expectation that makes it OK to buy
Has anyone got any insight as to why they all bought in same 24 hour period?
