Hi all
Been reading on and off for a while and thought I'd join to show that there are more positive holders around!
I think this is an excellent value play, the company has such a ridiculous amount of cash, cash equivalents and revenue that regardless of the dispute outcome the future of the company is secured at a much higher real valuation than reflected in the share price. My strategy is to just keep buying over time to cost average and then sit back and wait for the market to catch up :)
I know and understand that for people in the red after the spikes might have a different and more defensive view point, which I can understand but for those that are looking to wade in for the first time I urge to objectively evaluate the pro's and con's at this level. If anything I find those spikes to £12 more telling of the future real value of this stock and where it is heading rather than see it as a negative as some do
All the dispute affects moving forward imo is the size of the M&A kitty but to be honest even this might not matter too much as company will now be able to finance with debt with the future revenue forecasts
As a value play though patience is needed to allow the market to soak up reality. It might just take a trigger RNS which can drop at any time, or it could take a longer time for consistent good financial reports to get II eyes raised - but one thing is certain imo is that it will come.
And don't get me started on the fact that this being at less than rock bottom means the downside risk thanks to the cash and assets is miniscule if not non existent
Is that you Porky?
Harchris has a teenager got hold of your keyboard? from being a constructive poster you are behaving like a child, take it off him and tell he or she to pack it in and before you respond read your recent input it's rubbish.
Lol nope, don't have quite so high targets :')
Shame though that anyone with a positive opinion are all seen as one person spamming. As I said, that's why I joined - irrelevant pessimists without holdings need to know they're outnumbered ;)
Always refreshing to read somebody's new input
Welcome to the madhouse
Ignore the trolls Steve. They'll go back in their box eventually.
Imagine having a 50kg ball and chain around your neck that you constantly have to lumber around with you as you try to get on with your daily chores. That's the affect of the dispute.
I'd rather imagine it as one of those scenes where someone thinks they're drowning but then someone tells them to stand up and they realise they're only in 2ft of water
MCap pre dispute was nearly £850m, now £215m
So a £129m dispute (which if you read the contract is at most the unpaid £60m in a worst case scenario) has resulted in a £635m loss of value
So yeah, I see a company carrying around a 635 lb necklace on a chain and now I'm waiting for that passer by to say 'mate, it's only 20 lb just take it off lol'
That's what it feels like dealing with half the posters on Aim chatboards, and that's on a good day.
Reckon half are clinically depressed or have escaped from somewhere , probably a classroom.
Imagine if all this time GM has been playing hard ball wanting 100% and not budging. Then DA comes in, gives them a 25% bone, shake hands and move on. DHSC say, this guy's a lot better to deal with, let's lock in more of this PROmate. £50m this time.
I'm dreaming but you never know.
I reckon when the nova story is over (takeover or other) I might write a novel on the experience I've had on this BB with all the different characters that have surfaced over the last year or so ?? it's brilliant
25% of posts are really investment type conversation and the rest is banter or abuse
How much did roald dahl rights sell for ?
I need some of that action but in meantime I sit on novacyt
I saw mention earlier on the board about Novacyts tweet regarding Sickle Cell disease. One of the reasons for Novacyt tweeting about SCD is because it can cause problems after transplant surgery ( kidney transplants). Novacyt have told us they are developing tests for the transplant market and I would expect this to be one of a range of pre op screening tests.
Let's see if we get some form of r+d update before the AGM so they can elaborate a bit more about their plan's for the next 12 to 18 month's.
