Italy has no test kits, how they gonna test and clear people! or otherwise..... i am sure they getting some rigth now..they thought they did not need them....like many other countires.....iran though the same.....
Now germany has its first case today.........! NCYT germany will fly...!!.....for sure....
A month from now, think virus will be everywhere. Of course we are not being told the truth. Look at the empty shelves in Italy.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday warned that it expects the novel coronavirus that has sparked outbreaks around the world to begin spreading at a community level in the United States, as a top official said that disruptions to daily life could be “severe.”
“As we’ve seen from recent countries with community spread, when it has hit those countries, it has moved quite rapidly. We want to make sure the American public is prepared,” Nancy Messonnier, director of CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters.
“As more and more countries experience community spread, successful containment at our borders becomes harder and harder,” she said.
Good job there is a German distributor and of course you know what’s on their homepage https://www.check-dx.de/
Think the poster was called ophidean (apologies if I got it wrong) but they said they had background in pharma (and was backed up by others) and they stated mostly a JV was in play. I think they maybe right and that’s why the updates and company silence has been in place. Await the rns. I’d expect one later today. Horrible to say but whatever the “sales figures” or “quotes” you can x10 at least now as this is hitting globally and speeding up every day

EU officials foresee a 'moderate to high' risk of more new coronavirus clusters sprouting up on continent
If only the left hand knew what the right hand was doing, and why..
Angryant the reason behind thinking jv is over the prior weeks they were mercilessly pushing/marketing talking about the product. For about a week there has been very little of this but a mass increase in distributors. The question is how can a smallish firm be producing 100,000s of kits by themselves....you’d think there maybe a bigger entity involved would you not?
gggg21
Primerdesign do not accept any orders for anything without prepayment.
So the company won't create a cashflow problem trying to meet demand.
That just leaves the capacity of the production facilities at issue.
Why though. Their commercial aptitude to go and get ce ivd? To be the fastest and most reliable test? To be the first kit on market? To get an nhs trust on board? To get interviews on cnn, sky, bbc news? To have over 50 worldwide distributors? To be on the homepage of basically all of them? And you doubt their ceo and aptitude really?
Give over!
B2hs2l. Yes I know that and am not worried about financial position or cash but trying to understand more the distribution network as they are taking the orders/payments and shipping time quick. So as you say it’s the production model I am interested in as I’m sure I have seen some very speedy delivery times on the distributors websites for the products
gggg21 - I posted this on 21 Feb:
As pressure grows to find testing solutions, I believe the conversion rate will improve as the virus threat moves into top gear.
I've now listened to the CNN interview:
1 @ 03:28 "From a stock point of view we are able to fulfil all of the existing demand".
So a company who's job is to prepare and test for contagious deadly virus spread has been stock building.
- no surprise there, and he does not mention how many extra units he could supply immediately.
I doubt that this is the situation now though.

".. is that right, that Italy dont have any #NCYT test kits?"
With the number of immigrants entering Europe through Italy, you would think their need was greater than most.
Lets hope Greece have some, but in their financial condition perhaps that is a forlorn hope.
Over and out, need some decent rest for the off tomorrow.
