@Kitzie
Not a bad call http://www.sdbiosensor.com
Roche are massive in this file and the test does sound similar to what was suggested; nice find...
My thought was still with Excalibur as we partner with them on PCR tests and again that test sounds very similar
Feels more likely that the partner will be someone with a test already validated on the PD list.
It's one heck of a confident statement to say we will have a test that will be sub 15mins and validated for home use if it were a partner even like AZN that hadn't got a test in the market.
Thanks to @Kaeren for the link to updated PD List:-

Looking really good, SP is beyond a joke but not long now....
Pork's
So sorry , yes I was :) :)
Off to raid the cookie jar!
I think it's got to be "Millionaires Shortbread" whenever this SP delivers!
Kaeren.....I think in your post you was referring to Obelix.....
A French Fancy Kaeren.
HI Oriens, don't understand what you mean by restrictions.
I have no idea who partner is but see nothing to suggest Roche is or is not involved.
As well as the LFT , I am intrigued to see how well GM's team have been selling into the Framework , which does not require contracts. Hope he is shovelling our Snpsig assays out like hotcakes ! Eccles cakes, battenburgs ,whatever takes your fancy !
Karen, maybe France could be the right place. We need to keep in mind the restrictions for International Business (like USA) or others overseas Business. I'm not sure how works over there. I believe someone here can give an opinion if we have a Business Partner from USA as we know they created a Higher Job position there as well. Don't forget Thermo Fischer lost the T/O and cash it's not the problem for them.
Gasman.....sorry yes you are correct, I must of misread it! Like you say, not long to go now, until we find out more, the ducks are been lined up
Hi Oriens, Achilleas from Nova liked the post from katalyst, not the follow up comment. His like is still there. Currently our only Achilles heel is communication which is hopefully going to change in the next week or so.
Chris.....last week some one posted a LinkedIn from Katalyst, They were reporting on the Innov lft.....Someone then left a comment, saying yeah dodgy Chinese tests etc....need Novacyt! It was then liked by Novacyt Director of Marketing.....Then a couple of hours later the like was removed
Why. Astra would have helped in the development. They are not at cambridge sucking their thumbs. Contrary to the governments actions at the moment AstraZeneca, Glaxo and Novacyt were put together at Cambridge University to help build Englands diagnostic capability.
Maybe there is someone else that justifies a look.. and not just a flippant comment. Astra Zeneca are in the frame until we are notified otherwise.
Yes but for how long,. Great for small and mid sized companies but AZ?
AZ's model is making drugs that have a life of 30 years, ideally for chronic conditions so there is a repeat prescription every month.
A bit scrappy for Astra - Have you not notice the billions being spend on LFT?
Very much doubt Astra Zeneca want to get involved in the LFT market, seems to scrappy for them.
Somebody already on the Porton Down approved list would make sense
That should be global partner in america.. there is an oem as well
Normally a big brother partner like Astra zeneca is a major plus in the share price.. at the moment nothing is priced in. Any collaboration with astra can double the share price.
I believe the global pharma partner announced in a previous rns is also Astra zeneca.
Hopefully the next rns will mention astra zeneca and not innova. And a solution to the DHSC.
Even the most inexperienced of investors will realise the importance of the big brother that has been sat in the background.
Exactly saintsmith
Wouldn't look good for GM prospects when they eventually buy us if he's been chancing his arm with another imo.
Gasman has a good thread on twitter that points to the partner being Katalyst labs. NCYT already partner with them, Tmthey already have a test card on the approved Porton Down list.
Think France ;-)
That would be ideal as they have the clout to both push the test and assist in growing rapidly the manufacturing . Like that suggestion :)
That would be my guess too
Surely our LFT partner is Astra Zeneca ?
Don’t forgot the saliva based trials for LFT we have recently been doing for them .
We’ve been working with them right from the start of the pandemic .
