Wilson63, C & E are too close together.
Wilson63, scroll down to the photo of the box, the "C" & the "E" are not as a European mark.
V5…..your iPad is based on the designs, standards, materials, processes, leadership imposed by Apple in America and designed in California. If China didn’t build to those exact standards it wouldn’t be built there. Most people can open a box of Lego and build to those instructions. China are an assembly plant, that’s all. Lots of things are assembled in China due to cheap labour. Don’t mix that up with creation of the master plan though. Their own designed cars, plains, mobile phones etc are inferior to the west, hence why no one buys them as they do not follow the same safety standards or build quality you’d get in western countries or places like Japan and South Korea. No doubt they are improving but that comes from stealing ideas and methodology.
Novacyt gave them the tech to copy...... Labmate china primerdesign......Q....... Development of a field deployable Rt- Qpcr wuhan.mygo pro
Not strictly true byp, the cost of good manufacturing and quality is not so cheap anymore and they are very good at it, dare I say. This iPad is assembled there for instance and the quality seems pretty good in my eyes...
It’s a Chinese website, they are bound to say it. Everyone knows that the Chinese lie and cheat and copy just about every global business out there. They don’t know how to play straight, hence why all their products are cheap and rips off of the real thing.
Chinese tests got CE mark back in May.

On the ball them Chinese, they're big on pharma. Could I interest you in some freeze dried covid tests instead.
Surely this is false advertising then? If so I’ll happily call them out on twitter.

Khhmozi I respectfully disagree, you'll recall that conversation the other day
https://starfishmedical.com/blog/conformite-europeenne-mark-vs-a-china-export-mark/
In the above article I'm suggesting it's the ce mark, either way it stinks but the wheels just roll along.:((
Emex & Wilson, the CE mark on the box is the "Chinese Export" logo which differs from the European "CE" mark.
The experts were still trying to establish different clades/ mutations in June so I have no idea how anything available in May. See Tom Pea**** Imperial

Exmex on the form in your link immediately above the CE mark in blue writing it says
This is not a CE mark and is only provided for informational purposes.
The red writing says
This certificate will be automatically void if the notification is rejected by the eu authorities or upon termination of the EAR agreement.
EAR export administration regulations
DRB83 , they've added thirteen tests to that list since wednesday. What I'd like to know is how did a company like Sansure manage to develop a monkeypox test and launch as a fully validated CE marked product on May 25th, having cleared all the hurdles under the new IVD regulation's .

No kaeren the situation hasn't changed, there's nowhere near enough vaccine supply this year. This was highlighted by WHO two weeks ago. To compound the issue, Japan's only smallpox vaccine manufacturer has outright refused to supply anyone but the Japanese government.
"Lots of Chinese ones. Can you believe that!"
absolutely. the chinese expansion into africa - means they prob have had quite a lot of resources etc
secondly i have come across a lot of reports that a certain lab in wuhan were playing around with monkey pox in feb 2022. of course said articles said no evidence of any link between this and current outbreak.
hashtag maybe ncyt should have got a chinese CEO - those guys know how to sell. no one orders salad in a chinese restaurant
This doesn't sound very helpful . May be updates I've missed.

The 28 June 2022 RUO Monkeypox test announcement makes no mention of intent to provide a CE mark version.
Has DA decided to go down this route only?
Because he can already sell all he makes?
Unlikely I'd have thought
Are they that useless!!! No answer required
@Jackin36
They will do now that they have read it on here!
if you go the FIND link there is a Request to Add a Test option in Red and the company can then enter the details and submit a request to add there test to the list. I would be very interested to see if NCYT have made a request?
How have China been able to produce a monkeypox test when they claim to have no cases of monkeypox in mainland China ? Where did they get all the required samples of infected patients from to develop and validate the test ?
https://www.scmp.com/news/china/science/article/3186616/monkeypox-mainland-china-only-matter-time-says-top-scientist
I'm not sure how accurate this FIND list is but apparently there are 62 MPX tests that have been CE marked. We haven't so not exactly first responder material.
It would be great to get DA to clear this up. Where does he think we are in terms of MPX first responder status?
...probably available from an airfield in China cheap.

This appears to be the one the UK are using as it is the only one MHRA approved. Yes it's Chinese.
The corruption continues!!!
