I hope sense bio does well for you. The goal has been gaping for nearly two years whilst they're pondering their run up.
Indeed so, as a holder of sense bio with them I really do hope that they are still undervalued !
Positive report from Edison released today: 49.4p conservative valuation. Currently undervalued but ze aficionados on here knew that. Anyway it seems to have encouraged a few buyers to venture out.
Worth listening to on the MERC website when available. The discussion on portfolio companies was very interesting. 2% ongoing dividend seems like striking a good balance between those like me who want a bit of yield and those who would rather see the cash re-invested. Exits expected across the business in H2, so I'm expecting at least one good one from the portfolio.
The big uplift to Faradion is good news. That could really take off.
Also worth noting is Warwick Acoustics "Having recently raised £3.3million from existing shareholders to fund its next stage of development, Warwick Acoustics has gained significant commercial traction. In the last 12 months, the company has achieved several significant milestones for its ElectroAcoustics Panel technology, with the successful completion of three customer-funded proof-of-concept projects and the passing of key automotive environmental tests with a significant partner." Wonder who the partner is? They were looking to break into the electric car market.
Respect!
Guy's prepared to go into battle in casual footwear, with complete disregard for possibly stubbing their toe are a force to be reckoned upon.
Still our boys are rectifying this shortfall : https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-58898035
You must long for the days when your boys weren't running away from guys in flip-flops.
We're due another realization which would spruce things up a bit.
HMS Merc cruising nicely. Hopefully, as some of the portfolio headliners have something exciting to report, we should get some good PR RNS's which should advance the SP even more.
Beats looking down the barrel of an 14 inch gun. Sounds like Scharnhorst's pea shooters had little effect on the might HMS Duke of York.
was the paltry increase in NAV, but I think they use extremely conservative valuation criteria, with most of the investments being unlisted. Very happy overall and holds promise of more to come.
I think if I was in your crew I would prefer lifejackets rather than heat on, HMS Duke of York surely provided the heat ?
Pleased with the dividend. I can keep the heaters on.
Divi nicely up, numbers look encouraging at first view
Shows a bullish report & suggests forward pe/2022 is 8.5%.
Worth a read even though it is an advertorial
Sounds a reasonable assumption OBNW. MHC up 25% currently.
The new mutant seems to be causing some panic.
A good place to be, aboard the mighty ship MERC, as we navigate stormy seas.
.... I reckon could be between 10p and 15p per share and expect total divs of between 3p and 5p. I figure the pundits will be writing this up over the next week or two and be surprised if we do not move into the mid 40s. Can see no reason to sell even at that level.
If you're unable to see it, they have a buy recommendation and a stated conservative 50p target.
Posted on Research Tree and if you're quick they have a two month free access offer.
I can see MHC going from zero to hero and making millions for MERC, à l’Oxgene. Nimble management and a good sales team never go amiss. Sense Bio have raised again before, at long last, launch of their Verios test. It will be great to see their point of care PCR quality test finally make it to the market.
Good update. Nice to see them ahead of expectations.
Ker-chink!!!
All sounds very positive - "strong year on year increase in Northern Venture Trust's net asset value per share."
"Debt free and loads of cash"
...a week away. These are dirt cheap now, but have no more to spend. Expecting decent results and a divi.
Sinning will surely be punished not by a good stiff talking to below decks but by a good stiff sermon across the pew ?
MCH does look interesting but tbh I prefer to access these type of companies through EIS or VCT vehicles as a) they should be much better informed by me & b) I like the tax rebate.
Thanks for pointing it out to me though....
