It's probably a bad translation as it doesn't really make any sense to me. You will have your own thoughts, maybe just as wayward as in the past!
I think PM has every right to take locals to court and get compensation.
Bad read the post. It say "If the head of Khurelchulun does not refuse to cooperate, let's go to court together."
Like I said they don't have any arguments.
PM has not broken any laws.
Bad you talk lot of crap.
I think the UK govt and Rwanda proves the courts don’t always back Govt decisions. Moral challenge? Elections may be a factor. Difficult to predict an outcome in a frontier environment. Just be drawn out longer.
Looking like news on monday hold on tight
As many say you dont want to be out of this over the weekend
"..you don't have a clue " full stop badprophet - so sh_t the *uck up!!.
All you do is spout opinion and speculation in a negative vain - its become a bad habit of yours.
Try looking on the bright side.
You worry if you want to.
I'm thinking we're in the home straight now and the share price is hopefully bearing that out.
The winner is the owner of the yak with the biggest balls
I'm not saying a challenge at court would stop PMs operation altogether but it could delay it. We see cases in court all the time where you might think - "that bloke hasn't got a cat in hells" - but they still take time to go through the process. (I don't have a clue how Mongolia's legal system works.)
The Central/Local planning issues have now been sorted.
Being cross about the decision reached doesn't necessarily mean you get to challenge the decision in Court or get it overturned. You are however allowed to belly ache to your 'constituency' on Social Media, I believe that's quite easy to do.
They don't have any legs to stand in court.
What would be their argument..
In 2019 it was MBs fault for not getting the local permit.
This time what would be their argument.
If an asteroid lands on Block XX I guess that would make life difficult too?
'Ifs' hey. Tricky little blighters aren't they?
Usually the last resort of someone who's trying to win an argument with very little to back up his opinion?
//The Courts then uphold them.//
But if it DOES go to court - then it "may take a while" as Notpleb says.
Laws are made and passed by Governments.
The Courts then uphold them.
SP on the slide now yesterday’s traders taking their profits. If there’s a legal spat, an RNS with good news may take a while.
Conservative assets value of 17p is still 4x or so bigger than the market value now.
As you see how abrupt/ fast this share could be rerated. Lots to come. It is just a matter of time.
Not weeks but days.
But certainly sth is happening.
Guys,
I'm not sure you need to be that bold Roxy.
Has everything pointed to the Heron Field being developed for some time?
And whilst it has taken an age is that now what's happening?
Are the Mongolian Government committed to seeing this field of 'National Importance' come on-line?
And when the Heron Field has half a dozen wells or more producing 3-5000 barrels of oil per day ($160,000 revenues/day) will the share price be many, many times higher than it is today?
It's like holding the winning Lottery Ticket in your hand, so long as you don't loose it it's yours for the taking.
What could go wrong? Earthquake? Peoples' Revolution? Oil gets banned?
There's more to come here as the story unfolds.
Those bold enough to stay on this ride will be surprised how quickly this gets into double digits.
Best thing IMHO at present is to sit tight and watch the show because it's just beginning
Agree Thorgonson would not be surprised if what you say is correct.
Coukd already see some "signs " in the orderbook yesterday... lets see what happens. Patience:)
Events in Mongolia certainly can affect the UK share price before official news.
Remember the Friday sell off prior to the Monday am Velociraptor drill/duster RNS?
Perhaps the reverse?
DQE Heron Field makeover/drill programme and funding news +/- Petro China transportation deal?
Wait and it will come!
From master82’s post of the politician saying this:
“If the head of Khurelchulun does not refuse to cooperate, let's go to court together. We, NGO lawyers and advisers of the right direction of the Eastern Province, will help.”
That to me certainly reads like he is saying they will refuse to cooperate and will go to court over it. I suppose they can just throw them in prison, like WOS always claims will now happen. But not exactly great news that the locals are seemingly still unwilling to play ball.
UK Investor Magazine on 6 July highlighted the procedures necessary following LP granting before production could start. These procedures could take weeks. If those procedures are nearing completion or completed then the news of a production start date will see SP rerate. Article highlighted 17p nett asset value. We may not get 17p quickly but with the huge exploration area it has rights to and becoming a cash generative producer FOMO will see a lot of buying
and big increase in SP beforehand and once a positive RNS comes. As with all investments there is risk so don't put next month's rent in. Surpises come but with PM I am really excited as I always have, though I trade this shares ups and downs in addition to long term holdings. Today's SP movement suggests possibly positive news may not be long in coming.
MM games not sure about that . With 20k buys coming through looks to be more than a manipulated spike
After hours RNS not likely . Singapore and Mongolia 8 hours ahead
Bigbench, more likely after hours RNS or early Monday? That's if an RNS is coming, it might be investors positioning themselves for the future.
