What ludeck said Bushy...lol! :) Good choice & good timing....was hoping to top up but didn't get a chance...still mustn't grumble, with it going over 9p today, gave me a one bagger :) And honestly buddy, don't beat yourself up for selling when you did - you jumped ship when it was right for you...remember, no one ever catches the top of a share nor the bottom...if it makes you feel better, you can buy me a pint when we all catch up for our Marl **** up...coming soon I suspect! :-)
Well done General! :)
Well, you'll be getting 28p plus Sandstorm shares. You need to keep an eye on the price of Sandstorm on the TSX or NYSE. The 109p estimate of what you'll get for your shares is based on SSL being 4.04USD, currently they're trading at 3.72USD. If they stay at that price you won't be getting 109p for your MARl shares when you lose them. I think if the SSL SP rises to 4.04USD you'll find the MARL SP will rise to close to 109p. So from now on, whether you hold or sell at whatever price depends on what you think will happen to SSL going forward, always also accounting for what you think will happen to the USD/CAD/£ exchange rates, they are inextricably linked. http://www.sandstormgold.com
Good choice
Well done sir looks as thought the magical £1 maybe reached. Took some BMN last week so not all bad for jumping ship early.
@Ludek,I think anyone who misleads shareholders, withholds information and feathers his own nest to the detriment of the shareholders that have paid his wages for several years would have no option but to resign. So it's a big fat ethical yes he should resign from me Bob.
@Zippy,I believe the boss of young man (Lee) who has been told to phone and slip in the question "may i ask how you intend to vote" (recorded by the way) thinks it may be more than tight!
My sell order of 98p has been triggered so my ISA holding is no more. Letting the rest go on to the vote and beyond. Like Lionel I am edging towards "yes" and then high-tailing it out of here pdq. But if "no" then will continue onto PFS. It's been quite a journey and still some surprises to come I am sure GLA
MMs short of shares for the Arbs? They have been hoovering up all the sells recently..
So anybody know of why pps is rising?
Just been offered 98p for mine. Not selling but will probably vote YES to deal.
Out of interest Fulmar, do you think Eric should resign as well?
Bought at 43p and sold today for 97.11, that'll do nicely, good luck if you continue to hold. My £ is now off to 7DIG, BOOM and PROX
Not on holding, but possibly on number of voters.
Yes - I think it could be a no - or not a clear 75% Yes anyway ..
Does anybody really think that the result will be NO to the takeover? Really?
Why is the pps rising? The offer we are getting for our MARL shares is less than the current PPS so is there any point in not selling them now?
Still voting NO Lionel.I would expect a retrace with a NO vote (possibly 65/70p),but as soon as we release the next resource estimate (now AISC is known) and Ergama drills, this will rocket.IMO.there are many other buyers out there, probably none though that will allow Glen to line his pockets so thoroughly.I think he should resign on a NO vote.
here's the new high ladies & gents :)
@ Spud I had to speak with my broker - the paperwork is in the post.
The proposed merger is a very poor reward for this deposit, so I have long been tempted to vote NO. However, no rival bid has emerged, and I fear that a NO would leave MARL with no other purchaser, and no obvious prospects of raising the capital for embarking on the mining. In any case, uncertainty would be high, and any potential gains pushed further into the future. If the merger goes ahead, there are good prospects of the SAND price moving forward. So while somewhat annoyed if not angry, and hugely disappointed, I am now considering voting YES. Decision time coming up. How do other LTH see it? Cordially Lionel
Have you had any voting paperwork Terrafin?
:)
I'll only consider if this goes over £1..which at the moment is looking good...can't even buy a measly 1000 shares at the minute...big order being filled??
Still not selling and voting NO ....
