Coinbase Adds Perpetual Futures for Polkadot
On February 16, Coinbase announced that it had introduced perpetual futures for Polkadot and two other coins. This groundbreaking move will enable traders to speculate on the future prices of DOT, ICP, and NEAR.
Besides, Polkadot experienced a turbulent start to 2024, riding DOT’s price fluctuations. However, Polkadot experienced a revival surrounding the positive sentiment of perpetual futures contracts. On February 16, DOT stood at $7.65. Following the announcement, DOT surged to $7.82 on February 18. This has represented a marginal 2.22% surge for DOT between the time frames. Moreover, DOT was trading above its 200-day simple MA.
Recent developments indicate a shifting dynamics for Polkadot. Technical indicators suggest a bounce back for Polkadot. Additionally, DOT’s Bollinger Band supports buyers’ market dominance, prompting a bullish outlook. Experts on Polkadot price prediction reveal that if Polkadot continues its upward momentum, DOT will open doors for $8.60 in the coming weeks.
Would love to hear more from the masters at work.

£215m from raising £2.7m.
Pretty good track record, of meeting teams of early staged projects, and delivering a return on investment.
The things George and Keld go through, to deliver for us shareholders;
1. What’s the team like.
2. Has the project got any traction.
3. Is it in a sector KR1 believe in.
4. Do the innovators have a competitive advantage.
5. Look for founders that are community first, in an open source world it’s all about networks.
6. KR1 allocate early to get the network effect early, and help add people or expertise to their teams.
7. Expertise at avoiding the red flags.
8. Research new technology and outlier projects.
9. Manage the portfolio including rebalancing regularly, partial and complete exits.
Few 100x Polkadot, Nexus, Cosmos.
Love the fact this Venture Capital stock can be held in a tax free wrapper.
Any updates on Zee Prime ? Think we invested at least 7 million in that.
Looking forward to see Red stone token list !
It said I think on Jan NAV holding we are down to £5m ish in ZP but I have no idea what it does - seemed a bit childish the promo page so there must be something in it unknown to us to warrant such a high investment. Redstone though could be worth a few million if the assets are credible
Bitcoin has its halving, Eth brought it Dencun upgrade. Our pot has a big slab
of DOT, and DOT satellites at its heart. The linking of DOT to both Kusama (the
biggest independent main net) and to ETH, changes to the parachain auction
system , plus Gavin Wood still tech chief - bode very well indeed for this parallel
universe. I think Gavin may build in some DOT burn to make it deflationary
at the same time...then DOT and TIA will both be in with a very good chance to
move into the top 10...and literally explode our token valuation. I do worry about
the inflated state of the Nadaq, but, end of day, this wont scare off many Saudis,
Asians, Aussies etc etc etc, and we are quite nicely cushioned here on AQSE.
Look who pops up when going well again! What's story here Dukee?

Haha - Think sausage dog has a bit of old beef with me. In fairness he was correct in the disagreement we had, it was regarding investing in Pluto, something wish I had never done. Wish I had large enough holding to sell the big clips mentioned . . . lol
Albus - Agreed, looked at Zee prime and for one of KR1s biggest investment outlays it doesnt look that good !
To be fair criticism is warranted, as do have history of pumping shares..
Shame really, as 'some' of your calls have been good, but you are guilty imo of targeting the small m/caps, trying to move the price with large buys, get interest from others by giving insane targets, then dumping on them.
The advantage with BLU was this practice was disclosed and seen by all and I imagine losses here have been substantial.
IMO KR1 is not a share to trade, the spread is to wide, follow the example of the directors of the company, buy, HODL and chill about your investment - the bull market will bring KR1 the exposure.
Interesting points of view. Some of the star performers don't start out strong but over time, just see how they've grown. They will get stronger. I think the management has done incredibly well and I'm not about to give them any investment advice
Yep. this is the sort of stock buy and hold and wait for money making money. it is not like the miners going mental but more volatility with them. kr1 is more steady eddy. it is not a traders stock at all. sometimes spread is too large. but i can see this being a big winner and it will have those big movements up in the next 12 months.
RaeDae,
Spot on, they will have forgotten more than we will ever know.
Paying and delegating for their expertise is a no brainer.
They will have irons in the fire, for future bull cycles, whilst we are looking at momentum for this.

NOT OFTEN KR1 TOPS THE WINNERS LIST, BUT DID IT TODAY BY SOME MARGIN !
To suggest this stock is not tradable is ,,, Well Ludicrous
If you refer to any chart it will demonstrate extremely large volatility between 75 to 109 in something like 9 trading days ,What size of trading window do the commenters need ,, is a 40% window insufficient,Granteed the MM,s might close or contract /expand the spread between buy,s and sells but thats a day thing
Good luck to all traders,, just coz i dont agree or participate dont mean it should be outlawed
Hopefully the sp can consolidate above the £1 mark & move up accordingly tracking the NAV,To believe or suggest there is no unscrupulous trading behaviour is naive @ Best
ATB2All
If the bid is 1.05 and hargreaves is offering 90 p it is not a good trading stock. and if you keep trading in a bull market at some point you will pay way higher than you sold. but each to there own.
Watching DOT stairstepping higher a thing of enormous beauty to behold. It wont take
$30 bn to eclipse Solana, the ideas are already in place with massive increases in
computer core coming soon. Bear in mind the designer made Polkadot as an improvement
to his Ethereum design, and we aint seen nothin yet imo. DOT and TIA headed for the stars
no question. Kusama no sleeping beauty either - a slightly more obscure name, but - most
unusually for a more lowly Alt - one with a very serious and important use case. Once a full
set of top-notch satellites put into orbit - hate to say it - but the Brits could have this thing
totally wrapped up.
