Waihapa will be the new addition to keas permit by few weeks time
THE SHANNON PROSPECT The Shannon Prospect is a potential oil field in the Tikorangi limestone formation, some 1,000 meters underneath Puka Mount Messenger sand reservoir. This same limestone formation produced 24.0Mmbbls on the next door mining permit in a field called Waihapa not owned by the Company. The Directors have determined that the Company’s principal goal should be to enable the drilling of the Shannon-1 well in 3rd quarter of 2015. Shannon-1 would we believe be a high impact well, in a prospect that the Company estimates has a gross unrisked mean prospective resource of 9.62Mmbbls. Kea has a 70% interest in the permit (PEP 51153) (the “Exploration Permit”) and our joint venture partner MEO New Zealand Ltd (“MEO”) holds 30%. Since its admission to AIM five years ago Kea has invested in the region of £22 million to determine the potential of its licence area PEP51153, which contains the Puka oil field and production station. The total combined knowledge of 2D and 3D seismic studies, drilling the Douglas well down to the Tikorangi, drilling Puka-1, 2, 3 and the Wingrove- 2 wells to the Mount Messenger reservoir, as well as the reprocessing and re-mapping of data from all the wells and the seismic provide us with an increasingly sophisticated understanding of the permit area.and the farmout deal will help kea by spending half of what we raising through crowed funding and kea will be relaunching puka 2 to full production capacity by that time share price will be the sky is the limit
re lloyds well done you - unlike me - i dumped mine at 78 just before the election results - how gutted am i??????
the BOD must all have been at the pub, that's why it was close off at 5pm and cant release till Tuesday not that any disclosure will come as any surprise from these guys as no one can believe anything they say now other than themselves of course . one would have thought in every bodies interests to have it closed off by lunch time and have a nice little release ready on the out line for the disposal of the little remaining assets in a fire sale.. give the buyer time to sell the morris minor on ebay over the weekend to fund the purchase and still have cash left over.
....Sorry 44500 shares on that batch
Some more help please. I've another kea investment of £9500 initially. Currently worth £512. 12547 shares. What is this break even? And average across the two chunks invested overall? Thanks
I only need about 45.6 p now to break even, but even if we found 100 million barrels in Shannon I don't think it would get there..... I would be happy with 10p on a strike just to get the hell out of this lmfao aimho and dyor !
I hope you reach your average, whether I'd would still be here to congratulate you......hmmm I don't know.
here & nervously crawling out of the woodwork..wonder how many have bid for extra shares on primary bids..
10.12p my average will I see that again? I think not, but who knows a case of hold and hope!!
Sassy knack it's fun huh!? I may throw another 5k in the mix soon to average down lol ! In other news my lloyds 10k purchase at 25p ain't looking bad!!
Oh you don't know how good it is to read that I'm not the only one. Am practically in exactly the same position as you. At that stage where the amount it will cost to sell my holding isn't worth it so, may as well hold on and see if the impossible / improbable happens. Symbolic thumping of fist twice in sternum to you :)
76p!! Nice... Best hope for some oil then!! And change my username for this share gamble!!
76p will put you in profit..
Any idea ?
A lot..
Help....I've got £138 left of £9,500. 12547 shares. What is my break even point in new money!?
Some silly posts. Most are in here with multi and I mean multi losses including me. £50k losses from people who have been here for a few years. I'm almost in as bad. With speculation will come a rise. If the £3mil is raised there will be a bit of interest and stories will be around about how much oil could be should be would be found etc. however IGS acknowledges that there's a 20% chance of success if we get the £3mil. If buts and maybes all over the place. So stop ramping. Nothing to ramp. I want it moving big time and like last posted I need 44p to get my £35k back which is currently worth £850!!!
Only 44p more to break even....
It's getting closer day by day it's going to be a odds changing drill and a company maker as well irgs kept this very close to his Hart it's the very nature of this man
trying to instill a rush with small concurrent trades...
Can we expect the answer on Tuesday, with it been the bank holiday , which gives them the weekend to sort RNS out or could we get some news tomorrow .Notice that primary bid auction stops at 5 tomorrow. Is it possible to have a release after then?
“If a way to the Better there be, it exacts a full look at the Worst.”
Mikey the rise today is just down to the relatively small amount of buying. I couldn't get a quote online for what I wanted and so had to buy in five 50K blocks. Other peeps did a couple of buys and look at how the price moves. I intend to put in my bid on primary bid tomorrow. If they make the 3mil, then this share will be transformed as we head towards drill. If the average bid price is above 1p and I think it will be - just watch how this SP will move. Like some others I sitting on a big paper loss, so it's double or quits time. I don't believe the BOD will let the crowd funing fail, so I think at least in the short term this is looking very good. If the crowd funding doesn't work, then there will be a fire sale in due course, which will still be woth much more than the current valuation.
just keep shaking
