Hi Jack, thanks for clarifying I will go back and have a look .
All the best
Hi Frog Seis JLPP Micky
I definitely was not mistaken Slater actually confirmed that Leon had visited him and had been so enthusiastic about the deal that Slater decided to buy his last lot of shares at 16p .I am sure there must be a deal in the pipeline.
Hi Jack, I cannot recall the connection but this news could be huge.
Frog
Hi JLPP
If I am not mistaken Slater bought in at 16c so Jubilee had funds to some deal relating to Mopani so I am sure that is a deal we can expect in the future
Some more post weekend, wholesale moderating I see.
Obviously all is well after all lolz
@ Frogkid
Yip in my opinion, nothing to hang our hats on yet.
There are a number of possibilities, but I am not banking of anything happening, where JLP has no control over. Remember this is Africa, where money changes hands under tables and lands in foreign bank accounts.
Sticking to the current scenario of Chrome, PGM'S, Copper and Cobalt of the current operations we currently run. They should have improved on last year.
GLA & DYOR
There’s nothing 100% tying us to the Chambeshi Metals deal but all of the evidence points to that. Leon said in the last conference call that the President had spoken publicly about aiming to have negotiations between the Zambian Revenue Authority and the current refinery owner concluded by April. When I found the interview on youtube, the President was talking about Chambishi Metals. Leon has said the Mufulira S l a g project that we have bid for fits perfectly with our refinery plans. Chambishi Metals has a smelter which has already been used in the past for processing refinery s l a g.
Obviously the Mopani situation is important, if ownership changes hands, will we still be in line for the Mufulira project? My feeling is that the government will still retain an interest in Mopani and they will want the project to go ahead. Until we get confirmation either way, its all just speculation though.
It's all speculation is it not JLPP? Setting ourselves up for a fall if we are not involved. Absolutely huge if we are!
Do we have anything firm on this ?
Paul Kabuswe gave a press conference this morning. They are expecting to announce details on Mopani and KCM negotiations within this month. There was also a question on the status of Chambeshi Metals, the answer was pretty much what Leon has said before, negotiations are very advanced with the current owners.
Edit
To include AMC and GGP too
I think London South East is not considering just how many screen shots I have of boards (before and after) their wholesale moderating of negative comments about companies with no cash and huge stock overhangs.
All to eventually be sent to the FCA.

just a few I've been collecting that have all cost innocent people thousands upon thousands.

My sentiments exactly especially we know the new J/V will be earnings positive and furthermore look at improvements in price of ALL metals Jubilee produces. My view of investors on stock exchanges was never high but has now sunk to a new low. To buy Jubilee at these prices is definitely a no brainier. I feel the share is being punished for past mistakes which has little to do with future profits
If the next RNS is actually at all positive the sp shouldn't tank at all if it bears any resemblance to earnings and potential. Too much talking this down on here. Big investors know where its going .
Perhaps it's experience Jonah
I find it strange that people are drawing conclusions from Sp movement on the basis of 33 trades, all of which are for small numbers of shares. Sp movements on low volumes reflect maket makers trying to stimulate some activity - nothing more.
Nothing much is happening here pending news.
The problem now is unless the next RNS is massively positive you could easily see the SP tanking again. This should have been a positive day as pretty much all metals are up?
Dorfan, my post refered only to reaching 25 000 tons of copper by 2024 as per their website which I believe has been delayed by atleast 1 year or more unless you can prove otherwise.
Not sure what you were reading in my previous post but where did I mention PGMS and chrome? Don't jump to conclusions please.
Dorforno relying to posts he's apparently filtered, what a melt.
Good day for everyone but JLP today. That should tell you everything you need to know about JLP's current cash potential.
Happydays
If I thought like you I would sell my Jubilee shares.Of course production will be higher in chrome,PGMS copper and cobalt.Do you think the institutions that hold Jubilee shares are fools
Depends on which market you are talking about. Hasn't stopped FIL aquiring tens of millions of shares.
With the new J/V there is NO DOUBT that Jubilee will produce more chrome than Tharisa
The fact that we still in the 7s in the second half of the year says a lot. The fact is it now near impossible to produce 25 000 tons by end of next year. We don't even know how much we producing now???????
Extremely odd on one of the best days for PGM'S the share price has dropped. It just goes to show how distrustful the market is of Leon.It was obviously a HUGE mistake for the company not to advise shareholders of the water and load shedding problems.I only hope the directors will NEVER make that mistake again
