Buys are flooding in. Should be an interesting afternoon....
I'm going to be topping-up once the price stabilises a bit later today/tomorrow, as still a strong trend in uptake of flexible office working space - especially in US. In 2022 it should be a lot more positive for revenues once we have adjusted more to living with Covid and the vaccines bringing under more control...........
Profit warning. Still looking strong for 2022 and beyond though, might be a buying opportunity this morning as will inevitably drop significantly.
Not sure what to make of Q1 - ceo is confident about the future as 'world leader' - I hope institutional investors are equally enthralled!
Looks as if the Market has pushed the sp down to make the bond more attractive. Suspect the sp will move up, once the bond is placed.
hoping might move back up more , have moved some of my money into syme with the rns expected there ,and more buyers look to be moving into syme ,
still like the potential here at iwg ,hoping might move back up level ,
longer term like the potential here ,dyor
Should be positive in long run but suspect that the recent SP rally were market makers' doing to beef up the convertible pricing. The company is agile in their operation and good at cost control. So far as good. Looking forward the flexible working space could be a trend here to stay now more and more businesses have learnt how to work remotely but they also need group space to get workers motivated and ideas exchange. So flexible working is here to stay. Just like Zoom meetings.
Hot sure what to make of the convertible bonds- equity dilution of 10% next year tiny coupon of less than 2% should be good news if the business uses the money well. They say reduces cost of capital so should be good news - will see what the market thinks.
Been buying a few in the 250 to 270 levels and I think this is now up with events. IWG has been a stock that has kept giving for me....I guess I will be back in if the mkts fall back again
at some point people will realize that excluding hub locations conventional office leases are inefficient, corporate membership to occupy space as a service will become the norm, paying by subscription will be the way to go as people do for software, cloud computing etc, IWG are already leading the way, they have always talked about building a platform , this will be the way in future, short term pain will exist, but space as a service will come of age post covid , they need to take out inefficient competition grow the network/platform this has huge potential, Wework just got it wrong
yes strong recovery from 205p low. Not sure why holders sold at that price must say. Should have bought in again but hindsight.....
Informative article re IWG's estate and the competition published on line today and. presumably. in tomorrow's print edition.
not sure another placing would be necessary with £830 million of liquidity and now in a cash neutral position according £180 million in savings and hit taken to date should see them through, capex and new centre investments will be minimal until they have a clearer picture, expansions may come through management agreements, franchising or M & A which will either be cash neutral or cash generative
Support appears to be emerging around 205, could have been an overreaction to what look like fairly solid results under the circumstances.
I hope everyone sold their placing shares above 300p and took a good profit. I made a nice few £££ but never saw this. Otherwise getting a spanking here. 207p! I dont know where this is falling to now but 150/160 looks possible with offices empty. The CEO is a big hitter with a lot of skin and a lot of money...but not a buyer myself. I could easily see a further placing here at about 120p if we had back to Winter and another partial lockdown.
in share price
Thanks Leisurely.
They landed in my AJ Bell Dealing account this morning, so all good :-)
