Looks like the share price is dropping off has news got out on the BoD's views.....
12.56
If the lenders believe they have the votes to pass the BOD's proposal, they will reject Coltrane. But if they are not confident, they will negotiate a revised deal.
Is this going to be a 16.25 rns, with a vague headline and a mad scramble whilst people try to make sense of it?
City A.M. understands Interserve's further announcement responding to Coltrane’s proposal is due in a matter of hours.
look out for big value buys coming through, like yesterday late afternoon before close.
This will indicate a positive RNS about to be issued
the only thing anyone on here can advise on is that we dont have a clue what is happening, as normal shareholders are kept in the dark until the decision by the shite BOD is confirmed
That the fact that this deal has not been ruled out last night or yet today bodes well. They must be giving it serious consideration.
Or maybe they are waiting until the SP hits 25p, until they rule it out, so they can crush everyone's hope... and smash the Share to bits again?
Incidentally, I wonder if the BoD would partake in Coltrane's offer ?
I was interested in taking up the open offer shares until I noted that the directors who are recommending it will not be taking up their entitlement . Unbelievable.
If the Coltrane deal gets rid of the directors ( without recompense ) it would be a huge step forward.
The BOD have a responsibility in my opinion to inform the market immediately, as in the next 24 hours as to whether the new Coltrane proposal is viable or not, to prevent the dilemma that the likes of Bill and Gman. At the moment the bet is quite literally based on one question and one question only, will the BOD accept this deal. To delay answering that is irresponsible.
I shouldn’t have sold out last week, but as my average was £2 I thought it was a no brainier. However with this new deal if I buy back in my average will be higher than £2 and I miss any potential rights isssue!!!!
Can anyone advise if it is really worth holding onto 1k on shares bought in at 26.5p if the rumors are true we could see a another peak around 25p this week?
No rush long term to sell just planning ahead.
Meta,
Gosh, we are in agreement for once - 25p a real possibility (by tomorrow imo)
I wonder if this level of support for the Coltrane deal is sending any kind of message to the BoD.....
Over what period? If enough people have belief now, today, that a Coltrane deal would get through and start buying right now then 25p is possible today or more, after all a week ago it went up 150% in two days.
should be making an exit today I guess.
Meta,
Without searching back through posts - I think you will find I said buy first thing tomorrow. The SP was circa £1 and it peaked at £1.13 before dropping back - it is all about timing!
Anyway no one on here want's to hear about our tiffs.
If the RNS comes out and the BoD offer a vote on the Coltrane deal what is your prediction for the SP.
I suggest it could rise to circa 25p.
Ha ha, no, it did not! The 113p tip being particularly memorable advice!
Meta,
On all occasions I suggested buy, it went up.....did it not.
I hope you haven't been sitting there waiting for me to tell you to sell as well ......
Anyway my dear friend, get behind Interserve (and not with a knife), you will enjoy it more.
Get in before the RNS comes out - but I won't tell you when to sell that has to be your choice.
GL
Ha ha thanks for your advice my dear fellow, although the previous advice dispensed has been nothing short of abysmal! 21/3/18 (it was 113p then) "Get on very early in the morning. There is still opportunity" And 5/12/18 what was it then 30p? "Meta - I will give you one tip........buy today" (it collapsed the next day. And whatever happened to those disposals you promised? That said, if and it is a big huge if, Coltranes proposal gets through, then yes, this would be very good for shareholders.
Meta,
I think this deal may get through or a variation of it. The Lenders don't have to inject any more money and have a clear way of exiting making a profit.
You can't have it both ways ....saying its a crazy deal for Coltrane, it must then be a decent deal for the Lenders!
When the RNS comes out stating this deal will be voted on, I would suggest you need to be holding this share!
GLA
Thought through and logical maybe. Realistic chance of acceptance? Not a cat in hells
Goodluck all
KingArthur,
I totally agree, the more I look at this deal....the more it stacks up for everyone.
The Lenders get every penny back, forget swapping 9/10 equity for debt as the BoD's deal - just a cynical gesture!
Putting to one-side those on here, who have always wanted this Business to fail....everyone who looks at the deal in depth will see that it has been thought through and logical.
Coltrane believe in the Business, the BoD now need to start believing in it as well.
As you say this is really a NO BRAINER, lets see how the BoD try and get out of this one..........
or will they finally "DO THE RIGHT THING"
I agree CC, they have lost the plot, another totally madcap plan.
Is this appetite for putting forward bonkers solutions contagious or something? First the board, now Coltrane.
Coltrane proposal is a no brainer.... success of rights issue would be massively more palatable ..... talk about a gift horse that I would be upset if the BOD moved to reject..... by all means consider adjustments but seriously this would secure future of PLc which for lenders if they take a less of a "I want everything approach" is better for them in the longer run, better for shareholders and is just good business acumen.
As for SP being at 20p I easily see that today while in considering offer status.... but it could only go North of that if the Coltrane proposal is brought to EGM.
