Really hope they purchase Tilbury Douglas Construction
This would show massive intent imo.....
Despite the Interserve FM disastrous growth / no profit disaster and EfW debacle - what's left now is a very slick construction business, with a full order book and really strong people.
A very good acquisition that would make them by far the strongest UK Construction Business . Hope they keep the TDC brand going - as its always been a strong name in the industry.
Two years from now....... there will be zero debt and competitors struggling in their wake!
Massive opportunity, but this will not probably not keep PI's happy - that are after a quick buck - but stick with this and it will be back to £4+ (but two years away.)...when investors realise what they have actually become....
Massive opportunity here........ if you are willing to wait!
Senior independent director’s role would usually involve:
working closely with the Chair, acting as a sounding board and providing support
acting as an intermediary for other directors as and when necessary
being available to shareholders and other non-executives to address any concerns or issues they feel have not been adequately dealt with through the usual channels of communication (ie through the Chair, the chief executive or finance director)
meeting at least annually with the non-executives to review the Chair's performance and carrying out succession planning for the Chair's role
attending sufficient meetings with major shareholders to obtain a balanced understanding of their issues and concerns
I understand the frustration on here, as I am in the same boat as everyone else.
But not a lot seems to have changed since the last RNS, apart from the SP slowly dropping lower.
May as well wait for one last punt on JKT-1...... as I would be even more p'eed off if I sold now at massive loss and JKT-1 is actually a success....
Those selling are now are either insiders who know bad news is coming (which does worry me) or PI's that are that ****ed off they are just giving up.
Hold in my opinion.
I understand the disappointment on here, as I too believed the hype and my investment has fallen through the floor.
I look at it as a lesson in AIM and although I do not agree with the tone of Afrims' post I do believe there is some truth in the way Directors (generally) on AIM operate.
Having said that, I do believe that JKT-1 will be a success and drag them out of the mire and there will be significant recovery in the SP.
Again though....... as its AIM, I am guessing insiders may know well before it is made known by RNS - so when we see a significant increase in buying volume (or selling volume if a bad result) then we will know the outcome in advance.
If you look at the graphs and trading ahead of the previous RNS you will see a trail of selling each day (not too much to raise alarm bells - I think another poster P____P__ was querying it) but its there.....slowly lowering the SP ahead of the RNS. Maybe this is just coincidence....and I am wrong....
But following the JKT-1 result, I will leave AIM for others - yes there can be massive rewards (occasionally), but I don't believe it is a level playing field and "on that basis I'm out!".
