Will it be a WILD CAT drill when 1 STRATIGRAPHIC DRILL HOLE was done with sample of core shown hitting bornite, chalco and moly, the former 2 composites of copper? The full report is not available but I think if one is a subscriber, one may have to pay a lot to see the full report. The Stratigraphic drill hole [1] does not GIVE GRADE or INTERSECTION in the short report. Stratigraphic drill hole of KONKOLA WEST must be to test the geology to 1,000m but HIT moly, chalco & bornite at ===750m===.
BEST PRICE: FOR 2 M & A, IT WAS BASED ON US$265M [ see details below], so that is the market perception of value. This said is QUALIFIED by having to ask Mr Cheetham what does the agreement with Kobold allow for ie sale to Kobold, 3rd parties , 1st right of refusal, what stage can they sell?
All very academic and the above are all norm. THESIS AND THEORY? DYOR. NIA. News, Sat, 27 Apr 2024 @2:50pm.
Goldeninvestor :"What's your price prediction IF it comes out positive."-Question posed to me. Right now, TYM 's mkt cap is £2.5m @0.095p. NO other co's mkt cap is as low -- even AFP [JV with First Quantum in Zambia also] has a mkt cap of £4.45p @1.9p. ARCM/Anglo American has a mkt cap of £24.58m. ALL ARE AT THE STARTER'S POST BUT TYM HAS KONKOLA WEST & MAPULA SITTING ON ARCM/AA'S DOOR [INC MUKAI JUST OPPOSITE & close to FQ's large Sentinel copper mine.
WATCH ARCM, AFP [1 horse ponies in Zambia] vs TERTIARY [3 horse ponies]. That will be up to the market. When results come out, I expect the worst as norm. Like how? No one knows how to read the results & scare mongers could come out. Why? Look at Solgold & GGP but the mining industry bought stakes AT premium & JV'ed respectively. This is where I have PREPARED very well with drill [4] results at Kobold's MINGOMBA ie the extension part. This means I have a BENCHMARK to watch for vs Kobold/TYM's KONKOLA WEST, Zambia.
KOBOLD bought Mingomba for some $115m & have to spend $35m on exploration for a 52% stake. I grossed it up to 100% to see the Pitchbook deal value and it came to $230m+$35m=US$265. Colin Bird Kiwara plc @KALUMBILA , Zambia was sold to First Quantum for $265m USD. So, it means that the buy in by Kobold was done on what appears to be the old last M & A in Zambia.? Size of Kalumbila? Colin Bird will only do drilling up to a stage wherein it hovers around the mark between a "Tier 2" border and leave it to the major to put a bit more money and up the resource from recall of what he said.
WHAT I HOPE FOR? Let's put it this way. TYM is a £2.5m mkt cap with 2/3 licences that are in with a chance @KOBOLD/KONKOLA WEST , MAPULA near ACRM/AA's doorstep & MUKAI near FQ's large SENTINEL copper mine and opposite to Mapula. So, if it reaches AFP's mkt cap for 1 single licence say in Zambia with FQ or ARCM's lead project with AA at this time of NO results yet, then will it NOT BE IT IS EITHER --double to £4m+ or 10x to £24.5m like ACRM currently?
BEST CASE SCENARIO: Konkola East side and West side, if they come in will depend on the SIZE of the potential discovery ie Tier 2 and bordering Tier 1? I will have to look at the agreement of TYM/Kobold in detail to see IF TYM can sell at any point? If anyone is in contact with Mr Cheetham, CEO of TYM, no harm asking him as that is not price sensitive.
WORST CASE SCENARIO: Kobold drilling 2 deep holes at TYM's Konkola West could be 1 hole at the Eastern side, which is more shallow and 1 on the Western side. Already, a STRATIGRAPHIC DRILL was done at the EASTERN SIDE and the CPR done by Calendonia Mining in 2008 also touched on the Eastern side and Western side of KONKOLA WEST, Zambia. So, if there is a drill [1] done via a Stratigraphic DRILL HOLE, to test the structure of the Eastern side, then it will be BE A 100% WILD CAT? That is for each one to decide for themselves.
MID-CASE SCENARIO? In between.
BEST PRICE POSSIBLE: LAS
I news thanks for the info.
What's your price prediction if it comes positive?
For Clarity: Kinkola West mentioned in a CPR mentioned below. It is for the Eastern & Western side of Kinkola West. Software error changed caps to small letter.
goldeninvestor :thank you for your 2 posts & remembering me at solgold for research. since are here, this is what i found:
# [1] kinkola west, zambia was mentioned in a ni 43 101, geo competent person's report [cpr] dated 1 may 2008 re: konkola east & konkola west. #[2] a stratigraphy drill nkc 40 was done at kinkola west and at 750m , "copper" ie bornite & chalcophyrite & moly was hit and part of the core sample nkc 40-844 shown in a pic & described as "co**** grain." #[3] price kobold paid for mingomba, next door to kinkola west, tym. #[4] depth which kobold ceo said on twitter for mingomba & concurs with the stratigraphy drill for kinkola west nkc40. #[5] kobold hit 150m on 24 apr 2024 having started the kinkola west drill @tym on 16 apr 2024, so 9 days for 150m. so, 750m target area should reach not too long more. kobold will drill 2 holes at kinkola west for tym for 2,000m.
comment: the poster s.n has not located the above which means that the kinkola west, zambia drill is not a blind one but is supported by geo work inc a stratigraphy drill with core shown in detail and marked for bornite, chalco & moly. tym mkt cap £2.5m @0.095p, fri, 26 apr 2024 vs arcm/anglo american jv at tym mupula, zambia. arcm 's mkt cap £24.11m. so, if arcm/aa hit, then tym at mupula sitting on this area licence itself will also appear positive. since there was objection by s.n, i posted the above on another forum. so, goldeninvestor, for your kindness at solgold and voting for me, i return to let you know. it is quite easy to find what i posted last night @tym, other forum [last 3 posts under the title : tym, 10 bagger, the title not mine but an old thread]. best regards since you hope to recover your retirement as a general comment to me.
