Twitter post by JP Campbell, bbc Northern Ireland:
‘A final deal for Harland & Wolff comes closer: InfraStrata has signed a conditional contract with the administrator, will raise £6m in a share placement tomorrow & aims to complete by 5 December. Putting up £500k cash to pay overheads in November.’
Haven't got headroom for £6mill so will need approval
In my opinion it will be mainly asset backed, It is estimated H&W have £11m in assets- they only need part payment now and the rest in April 2020 when things will have moved on at pace.
Anyone care to speculate how JW would structure the deal. Looking for £6m, our current market cap is around £5m. What sort of head room does infa have, will they need to seek shareholder approval for the issuance? Could be multiple backers, tight holders, as it would take a million years for a riverfort or ya to flip such a large amount of shares.
Shall be interesting reading tomorrow!
Well if contracts are signed that's good business by JW and well before the official backstop date, so congratulations to the bod.
Roll on Monday am for the good news, surely the so should rise on this news and if JW could throw in some contract news for H& W at the same time that would be very good news indeed.
Mr T
JR- The problem is you are comunicating as if curent shareholders do not know what the status of INFA is, Trust me we know exactly where we are and the future potential of the company which is exactly why people invest in the AIM market, Aim market is the planning stage we 100% know the risks and rewards. You do come across very negative wether this is your intention or not it is fact. You will also know raising money to make multiples more makes good business sense you have to see the deal in writing to make an informed decision, we have not had chance to do that yet but we do understand the potential. IMO
Really JR .. not negative .. suggesting the share price is now going to be diluted for months .. lol
Speedy this is good news for the workers. Do not think my comments were overly negative. I just want shareholders to remember that INFA have no money of their own so anytime anything is paid for it usually means a massive dilution on share price for months to come.
Setanta1, I can certainly believe what you are saying. Poor regulation combined with MM who are prepared to manipulate price for as long as they can; it does not make for a level playing field.
I repeat that I have no knowledge in this area but if something doesn't sound right I'm going to question it. What you have said makes perfect sense. My issue is with posters who only see price manipulation when the share price goes down. Funny enough, when prices are going up, you never hear any one say that MM are manipulating to achieve a higher price.
My second issue is that the "MM playing games" trope becomes like a religion for some posters. Keep repeating that and you never have to ask the more difficult question "is there something more fundamentally wrong".
Anyway, none of this is specific to INFA and is probably boring for most posters but I find it interesting nevertheless.
300 likes and 1 negative I think we can comfortalby say most are in agreement.
Spud...... it's clear they are working in tandem. Roll on good news Monday.....
Very telling who "liked" the negative tweet....
Only 1 negative out of all the comments in that tweet and it was from a clean and green person-Typical negativity at a time of jubilation.

This is the guy who led the workers campaign to save the shipyard
Yes JR we expect dilution but will be to fund an income producing asset. As always the market will decide once details of the deal are released
Personally think, the RNS was not released because there was other information that would need to be released alongside it (joint venture with VITOL- I can only hope) that would put the cat amongst the pigeons! It is reasonable to assume the reason for decline was in fact the signing of the deal alone and those sellers probably not privvy to the other information.
Both main parties of the government are adamant that UK ships are built at UK Yards- I am absolutely certain that if this information was available whilst H&W was in administartion they would have been swallowed up rapid. The future is looking brighter and brighter. AIMHO
Lisa I assume is conflicted .. has expressed genuine support for securing the H&W jobs, but will need to Square that with INFA remaining viable as a project and not going bust .. and this means Gas Storage .. the flagship project .. onwards and upwards
I wish we could dilute JR and his constantly negative reminders! Bought any INFA shares yet JR?
I wonder why the Nomad and MM are so negative on the share price. As this was done on Friday afternoon for a 7am RNS, they must know what is contains. How much dilution will people want to take?
What a coup for JW if he could get her "aligned" with his vision for the company, maybe get her on the payroll working alongside Judith?!!
As for Lisadee hopefully she will appreciate the Job security the IM project is going to bring to H&W, I very much doubt she is invested though.
Here here, well said Snowy! Strength in numbers, United we stand etc etc......
Going to make interesting reading Monday, I would much prefer a 7am RNS than a 430pm RNS as the latter are normally highly negative, With JW's Knowledge of the industry I have no doubt he has something lined up from ex colleagues.
Speedy, my thoughts exactly.
Amazing if it’s sorted much earlier than the backstop. No way would the NI gov and BDO allow the transaction to go ahead after due diligence if there wasn’t a robust plan in place.
If Lisa is now posting INFA supportive / good news that would be a first IMO. This can only mean one thing........she's bought shares!
