Really? We're now calling local people with a concern for their community as "look as if they escaped from the mental asylum". You do realise these boards can be read by anyone? Including locals who may be in two minds re the benefits of the project? The Marine Licence is not in the bag yet and you are determined to make this confrontational with the locals.
In it to win it or lose it .Its a 50/50 gamble . Chances you take some you win some you lose . Howevever my account is well down on a paper loss but im not selling so atm dose not matter . gla longs
I just looked on twitter and put infa on there and clicked latest, have to say the anti infa brigade look as if they escaped from mental asylums, and there words just back this up.
Surely what happens on twitter has zero affect on the infa share price. The fact the MSM use it for news these days shows how dumbed down this nation has become.
Sooner people stop using this brainless website and others like it the better.

Doc is entitled to his opinion but twitter has a lot of egos constantly trying to score points on each other. It’s easy to attack a company when it’s on its knees.
Doc may act as if he is infallible, ask him how pxog is going .56 to .09!!
"any thoughts!?" yeah,
Dont take your investment advice from twitter.
Rumours on Twitter (Doc Holiday) Infa are desperate and other disparaging comments... Worrying! As Doc seems well connected... any thoughts!?
Lth locked in ??
The anti INFA people are revelling in the drop in sp. Yet we have had no material news in the last while that is of a negative nature. I believe the sp has drifted to this level because of the lack of positive news. Of course no news of a positive nature is being release as the with the ML, FID etc are yet to be concluded. It is simply a matter of time. IMO
Good luck all
Disappointing day maybe for long timers but very opportunistic afternoon for new openers like me :) As with others here I have full faith in the gas cavern concept and that finance for construction can easily be secured and revenue from operation can more easily flow than the gas in and out of the pipes. However, I will reiterate that I’m investing in this for Islandmagee (like most of the original SHs) and continue to be wary of the shipyard subsidiary – yes it should reduce costs/speed up construction (why rent Larne quayside when you can your own one for logistics) but I am not holding out hope that Harland and Wolff will make any money for his new owners. Yes politicians (or ex H&W Chairmen) might propose pipe dreams of building all navy vessels in all UK yards but no ship or even part of 1 has been built in Belfast since 2003 and it seems Defence Contracts progress slower than Brexit so I hope JW concentrates his new steelworking and welding crew on getting IM up and running so we can all get returns out to start spending :)
Leesadee, to clarify Sundays banter – “Hypersaline brine is salty water that contains high concentrations of dissolved salts and whose saline levels are higher than ocean water”. Therefore, I will correct my statement from “salty water” to “very salty water” but anyone will remember from GSCE science – high concentrations of particles will naturally diffuse (especially in a tidal lough area) so yes we will all wait on the official environmental reports but I can only assume (and hope also) that it will pose no significant danger to marine life or that Infrastrata will take appropriate precautionary measures. I do think the local “environmentalists” need to realise that neither shareholders nor the BoD are out to purposely cause damage to either the land or water around Islandmagee and if there was a high risk of this (or evidence from previous gas storage cavern projects) then JW would not have ever got this far in the development and licence process. In light of our upcoming election I believe that just like the “Leavers v Remainers” or “Orange v Green” that the Protestors will continue to only see their one-sided viewpoint of the project and shout more of their Toxic trashtalk (but sure isn’t that part of the craic in debating – the truth and best result will prevail).
Hi setanta,
Points taken and agreed, two events have slipped, EU funds, as I say this is out of the control of the board though, Chairman , yes should have now been sorted, but, I believe it all revolves around the other current outstanding issues and the puzzle will fall into place very shortly.
Lets see a better day tomorrow, today looked a lot like a concerted effort to drop the price by traders before a slight rally, all on no news!!
Mr T
Yes. Point taken. No secrecies perhaps. I’m wrong on that.
Hallo my old friend.
Well the ” other one” is total ****e right now. You are right. It goes nowhere. I am still in it and 70% down. But who is responsible? No-one but I !!! No-one made me buy them.
This little blighter is a kick in the teeth. Should’ve sold b/e a while back. Still hold from the takeover.
So...pecuniary position worst since 2016.
Each day one day at a time I usually say. No more so than now.
I hope you are well.
I feel that the market has awareness of something here and it may come out tomorrow or this week. Usually how Infa works. More leaks than the Titanic.
Hi Tango, I don't want to be overly tendentious but you misread the part of my post about the financing.
The £.5B ,(not £5M ) relates to the combined financing needed for the Islandmagee project and the FSRU project.
Nowhere did I say that the debt/ equity should have been agreed by now.
Hello crl123 ,good to hear from you. I sometimes have a look at the other one of yours,(assuming you're still there). It seems to endure good and poor time to remain, more or less, the same. Go well.
Notice is their if you know what to read.
Well said. Sheep often lose rgeir way. Civil counter-arguments from BP are to be considered.
What we have found out about Infa over 3 years is that its information and fundings are always leaked.whatever they may be. The market is only interested in itself and not fairness. Hence the previous devious market “ pre-placing” movements which I fell for. Hard to believe that there is no news behind this. Infa responds in advance .
Setanta- They have only just agreed the GSA, so how could the equity/debt agreement be agreed before they knew how much they were going to be getting (limits etc) from Vitol for the gas? I fully expect heads of terms within the next two weeks outlining the debt/equity deal with an obvious caviat to the marine licience.
Setanta it is £5 Million NOT BILLION!
Had the misfortune to fall foul of a few very well researched and loyal supporters of INFA and its BOD. Tango, Speedy Gonzales and especially Mr. Triumph certainly know their onions in relation to INFA. But I think you've come down too hard on Blair Peach. In his defence I think you all should note that the comments in his 16.57 post relating to the EU funding and the slippage in the appointment of the new Chairman are correct. And ,Mr. T, I understand why he may have taken the 1.25p placing as a kind of benchmark because it certainly marked the end of the jiggery pokery by the Twitterati group ,(and others), in the INFA SP and marked the close of their very profitable,(for them), sell out.
Tango I think we should ignore the people who posted at such length and so boringly about the probity of the Islandmagee project. If INFA is within the correct limits for the Marine Licence it will be granted. If INFA is not within those limits it will not be granted. JW has left us in very little doubt the we are within safe limits. The residents are entitled to ask questions and the company must answer. JW is seeing to it that the exercise will be conducted correctly.
Just one last comment and that relates to finance, and in particular, to the raising of the punitive Riverfort finance. INFA is looking to raise £.5 Billion in finance and we are assured that the Islandmagee part of that is more or less assured. They then can't find the funding from any of the lenders they have been talking to for over a year about mega millions, nor will any of their putative partners make it easier for them to raise finance for H&W. That is almost unbelieveable and suggests a lack of confidence. I know a bit about what very big companies will do to assist a minor with whom they intend form a partnership and the first instalment of H&W should have been a shoe in.
So easy on Blair Peach. I liked some of his earlier posts. And contrary opinions are good too!

It could also have been controversial in the run-up to the election, with the Labour party already taking the position that the vessels should be built in the UK.
The ships are required by the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) to supply the Royal Navy’s two new Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers, and accompanying ships, with food, ammunition and other supplies when they are deployed around the world.
A decision on the winning bid was expected next year. However, the bidding process has not gone smoothly. Since May, all international bidders, with the exception of Spain’s Navantia, have pulled out of the competition. A consortium dubbed Team UK, comprising Britain’s main shipbuilders, BAE Systems, Bab**** International, Cammell Laird and Rolls-Royce, remained in the race.

Defence industry calls for clarity on ‘buy British’ policy
The decision to halt the tender will now raise questions over whether the consortium will continue or the members will have to compete against each other.
Much will depend on the conditions imposed by the MoD — for example, whether some of the troubled shipyards such as Harland and Wolff would be expected to participate, one person said.
Unions called on the government to reclassify the ships to allow the contract to be awarded to UK companies without international competition.
“The steel that would be involved in producing the fleet will provide a much-needed shot in the arm for that sector but moreover provide a boost to UK manufacturing which has been buffeted by Brexit uncertainty, said Steve Turner, Unite’s assistant general secretary for manufacturing. “This tender should never have gone out to international bidders. No comparable developed economy would have done so.”
Ross Murdoch, GMB national officer, said: “Our yards cannot compete against the unfair subsidies awarded by other nations, while our competitors would not dream of letting the UK bid for their contracts. The government must now back skilled UK workers and our steel industry by keeping the Fleet Solid Support contract in the UK and reserving future awards for our own yards.”

Hopes rise that major naval contract will be reserved for UK shipyards

The Ministry of Defence has suspended the controversial £1bn international tender for three Royal Navy support ships, raising hopes that the major naval contract will be reserved for UK shipyards.
The MoD on Tuesday informed bidders for the contract to build at least two 40,000-tonne Fleet Solid Support ships that the process was being halted in order to ensure that requirements could be met.
“It is clear that the current approach will not deliver the requirement,” the MoD told the Financial Times. “We are now considering the most appropriate way forward for the procurement project.”
With a general election set for December 12, industry insiders said they did not expect the process to restart until early next year.
The decision to halt the bidding will be seen as a victory for the three-year campaign by unions, shipbuilders and politicians to keep the contract in the UK. Three UK shipyards have fallen into severe financial difficulties in the past year, including Harland and Wolff, builder of the Titanic.
Many regard the suspension as a first step to reclassifying the vessels to be exempt from EU laws aimed at preventing protectionism.
“That is pretty much industry’s expectation,” said one person close to the situation.
The decision to suspend the tender came after John Parker, the industrialist who in 2016 set out a plan for a national shipbuilding strategy, delivered a mixed verdict on progress so far in carrying out his recommendations.
Our yards cannot compete against the unfair subsidies awarded by other nations, while our competitors would not dream of letting the UK bid for their contracts
Ross Murdoch, GMB
In a review published on Tuesday, he criticised the government’s approach on allocation of naval work to UK yards.
Sir John said the UK had adopted a policy “contrary to [that] in most developed economies, where all defence-funded vessels are built in home yards and utilising their national supply chain?.?.?.?I do not, as an industrialist, believe it to be the right strategic approach.”
The Royal Navy has long lobbied for the contract to go to an international bidder, believing that the vessels can be made much more cheaply in foreign shipyards, several sources said.
As a result, and unlike many other EU countries, the UK has not classified the support vessels as warships, despite the fact that they have defensive weapons. Under existing EU procurement rules, the contract must then be put out to international competition. However, under the terms of the competition, the MoD had the right to stop the tender.
It could also have been controversial in the run-up to the elect

Blair, Tango.
I guess I'm in the happy clappers/strong buy club and proud of it and, to prove it, here's some more potentially good news on the horizon.......

Blair- My advice to you then is not to fuel the protesters and shorters as it is going to hurt you even more!
Talk negative and there are sheep and shorters that will emphasise that negativity, if nothing good to say- Like your mother probably told you "SAY NOTHING" especially on a bulletin board that is going to achieve you nothing positive.
Buy a Cat and kick it!
Blair,
"I take the placing at 1.25p as the benchmark"
Why use that particular figure as a benchmark? the sp has been nowhere near that level for over 9 months? the latest placing was done at 0.45p?
Bit of blue in October? allowing some to exit? again I think you need to do some research? as what has gone on in respect of the share price issue.
Milestones have not slipped as far as I am aware, apart from receipt of the EU funds, which is out of the hands of the directors unfortunately, all other milestones have been met. Read the RNS's
What is correct is the fact Infa need to raise lots of cash, and they already have via a loan of up to 2.2Million so far, they need more and I suspect they will obtain it and it will not be via equity at this stage because as you quite rightly point out the sp is too low to raise substantial amounts currently.
All building to an exciting end of year finale imo, ignore the day to day movements at the minute in the sp, lets see where we are in 3 months time!
By the way, am I a Happy Clappy? whatever that is in respect of a share! I must be on the sidelines constantly chanting,
Come on Infa come on Infa All together now.
Mr T
Tango,
I held my counsel until recently, as I am not a fan of bulletin boards, or social media in general. Put my posting down to frustration, in part with myself.
I hold several million shares in INFA and am well underwater.
The last thing I want is to see the Islandmagee project derailed - be it by local opposition or internal incompetence!
Remind me, during the interview in July, did JW not as least hint strongly that EU funds would be received in September?
Did he not also state after the abrupt (and farcically explained) departure of GL in March that a replacement would be installed by the end of September?
As I have stated before, I care not for massaged, retrospective RNSs. What has been stated cannot be unstated; it can, however, be explained.
The fact that it has not is the cause of my greatest frustration.
Resorting to personal insults does you no credit, however much you disagree with the content of a post.
