Hi
Pangolin
I think the only thing that keeps me interested in IMM is the banter on this board.
Investment is about protecting capital. I only invest 1% of my capital assets on the market. . I have watched people lose everything.
Investing on the market is about self control. The introduction of technology and the ease of buying and selling stock, has turned the market into a casino.
I trade the market by half and half again intended capital investment. This strategy makes investing fun and interesting.
Eva ,
Let’s not start compétions as eceryone has their own strategy whilst investing and it’s not my money you’re investing but
1). You said you have made a Huge profit in SNG with your strategy of all in ... but since that profit what have you done ?
Bought back SNG at 191-200
Bought 200k of IMM
Bought silver etc etc
Has your strategy paid off since You sold out in SNG ?
Whilst you sold out in SNG , I multiplied my holding their and my trade is still ongoing and won’t be finished there for many months / years .... My capital is safe there and that’s my point....
My conservative strategy is just that... CONSERVE the capital is what investments are all about if you want to last a bit ...,
Reckless ´all in strategy ´ may pay off in the short term but inevitably it will lead to ruin ...IMO
Put in your cash in ´good science and well managed companies ´ will always be the best strategy in my view and when you have made some good capital gains one can do a few ´adrenaline punts ´ like here :-)
I see the green coffin has come up, meaning it's Eva that I have filtered.
Do me a favour Eva, filter me. Saves us, the board a lot of drama.
Woodstock
Just a little point. Both Sng and Tils have no revenue coming in at present. The argument for Evg having no revenue is mildly premature.
The irony is the stage 3 trials Evg are entering into could be just as successful as the Sng stage 3 trials.
Woodie
Nolupus. Agreed Evg should be discussed on Evg board. Like your strategy with bio stock.
Good weekend
Woodie
1509,
My personal strategy in biotech investing is based on the farmer ...
1) I sow the seeds .... small amount of capital ( risk maximum as the investment can lose 50-70 % on bad news )
2) I double up when the sun shines and the SP passes technical resistances
3) Wait for harvest
The seeds need to be spread out over a few fields as one will have some failures and some good harvests ...The good harvests pay for the money lost in the failures :-)
Best of luck to all
Nolupus
Thanks very much
1509 ,
Just follow the science and the finances are not the major problem in Biotech if the science is good ...
With Evg , they need financing like all biotechs as they have no real revenue apart from the newly signed licensing which won’t be providing much income until they get their products on the market in 1-2 years ....
Read this as a first step in the Covid trial ...and see what happens when the first patient gets treatment

Mornin Bojo, Nolupus.
Thanks for your posts
Re EVG,
Yes you are right of course, they look as ropey as hell but the only de risked Biotech or Pharmas are NCYT and DNL that immediately spring to mind. Thing is if you want cash positive and approved diagnostics, therapies and vaccines then you have to pay a premium...
Most Biotech's that have leapt from pennies to pounds this year were once like Evgen IMO.
1509,
I think it would be more appropriate to discuss EVG on their board ....
You will get more informed information there :-)
Morning.
Re EVG
I have been doing a bit of research this morning and apart from the low mcap i am finding it difficult to get too excited about the share.
I am worried that I am missing something
I have read about SFX-01 and Star and about the deal with Juvenescence.
They have 4m in the bank, circa 2.7m costs pa, no income.
Yes this company has great potential but surely the cost and wait and for phase 3 to start for either SFX and Star is a big risk.
I feel that the company will eat its cash and a placing will come along.
Any thoughts?
Looks like it was indeed a tie between Orphan and SNG with 5%
Congrats to SS17 and Woodie for backing those shares!
Bojo
Nice one
Eva
Just bought into cobr 2.55
Orphan and SNG might be top dogs today. Anglo Asian tucked in just behind them. Do we see green shoots!!
Back in here £10k @ 10.22
Eva
Thanks very much
Looking to put some more in here and poss cobr and Evg
As I said yesterday , you did the right thing in selling SNG when you did................You said you resigned from your job...........and now you are chasing never ending losses..................Trading as you do you will lose the lot................. You should have invested the majority of your gains in good unit trusts such as Baillie Gifford.............and gambled with a fraction of your gains..............At £2.25 SNG announced the rights issue and if you read my previous posts I told people on SNG not to be so optimistic about the announcement because in my opinion it was not good news and the SP would fall to £1.75 (or below)......................and I got a lot of stick for that!!
Eva
Thanks very much
Don’t give up predicting
One of us will get it right.
If halfbutt keeps on predicting next week they will get it right one week
Off the do some research now
HI Eva
Thanks very much
I write a post earlier on but it did not come through
It went along the lines when you know a share and it drops for no apparent reason then it is tempting to get back in.
Imm has to explode soon surely so I think if I can get in around 10.50 I will invest more.
When i have Evgen on my watchlist I will check them out again
You mentioned Dnl a while ago and I liked them as from what I recall they are licensing there product or have approval to there product in several countries now and there sales are growing. Is this correct ?
I can’t understand why dnl’s share price hasn’t really moved any thoughts ?
Nolupus
It very rare for me to get a gold medal
I should have added tils to the list of current holdings as I still have them
1509,
Now that you have the GOLD medal , why not try the wooden spoon ?
Best of luck , whatever you do :-)
