Eccles - would you like me to manage you portfolio for you?
Just post your account details & password here and leave the rest to me.
I suggest you do a bit of research
You shouldn’t be gambling with shares if you don’t know that. :-).
you must be a GSK shareholder -how can you not know
Just looked on my share account the day and this has popped up on my share account is it a change of name of a company or what as I have no idea with somebody please enlighten me. Thank you
...watch out Haleon ...the language police are watching.....and what a cunning linguist you are Grezzz
Well played longterminvestor for getting the first post published on this board!
Speaking only for myself I feel that EW has questions to answer now that we know the value that the market has placed on HLN. The split itself is, in my opinion, wise. To have a pre eminent pharmaceutical company which has a division selling consumer products at the 'quack' end of the drugs spectrum was not great for the image.
When do we start dividends?
Is it possible that Pfizers decide not to sell in Nov22 after their lockin period ends ?
@Evanescent
What's with the obsession with d icks?
I said mangled, because whichever ponytail was responsible has cobbled together a word of Norse origin with one of Greek. Had I been given the brief (and the fee) in five minutes I would have suggested Hygleon - which with Hygieia being the Greek goddess of health and cleanliness would coherently carry the required message without sounding like it was dreamt up by a five year-old.
Now I suggest you go and do a little research on Priapus - that will be right up your...
Magic I could press the recommend button a hundred times. If the likes of Unilever announced they would be buying Haleon the sp would fly. :-). So nobody will be getting it at a discount unless they bought low over time and reached the 30% in which case they would have to make an offer . So there for they could make on the 30% if they bought low. But would still be paying a premium for the rest on a declaration to buy out.
Could Unilever bid for the rest of haleon & get it for much less than they would have paid GSK?
"I hope they concentrate on getting down the debt level"
Well with no dividend to start it should help with a bit of reductions, assuming the cash keeps flowing
could be a bit of switching going on- HLN to GSK.
Goodluc th tha. I'm just sitting on the ones I've got, not planning on adding any more. I don't like the debt level and I don't like the Pfizer overhang. The p/e is not that impressive either. Think the Ulvr offer will be seen as a massive missed opportunity, but, as Ulvr is my 3rd largest holding, probably no bad thing for me. Will be thinking about topping up if it dips towards £2 after the lock in ends.

If you are able to predict so well - maybe you should read about the Company and then you will be even more successful hey... Deramper.... You know when Pfizer are due to exit...
Agree it will hit 275p shortly.
How quick are Pfizer going to exit.
I hope they concentrate on getting down the debt level
Why tell lies Clued? Both GSK & HLN were both down heavily yesterday. Will soon reach my 275p buy target, which I may have to revise downwards at this rate.
It has further to fall. Won't be buying above 275p
some at about 303p
Well don’t I feel like a spanner now!
Thanks Budd.
His entire post and dickish comment was on the name, nothing else.
Ok dazzle everyone with your brilliance Grezzz or Clued - what name would you give the new company that makes Haleon pale into insignificance?....I'll wait!
