Premier oil would have paid off its debt like harbour did given the same circumstances so you can pick and choose all you like. The fact is management here are awful and have squandered billions at shareholders expense and left us totally exposed to a brutally stagnant portfolio in the U.K.. ironically premier brought most of the best overseas assets to the table.
Linda crook has done a shocking job so far and I without this new deal Harbour would collapse. It’s a red or black, not an investment.
While this company trades less than 300p a share, its buy buy buy. If it drops, buy, drops again, buy
Pop.your buys up then coco
Circus r us 😂🤡
Well that can't be right.
Harbour Energy is only 3 years old.
Premier Oil was a dog. Low production. High debt. Bad management. I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole.
Harbour Energy is not Premier Oil.
You must be new here…. Heard it all for the last 6 years
Crazy.
Oil is at $90.

Unless you're talking about a few grand or you need the money fair enough.
But anything else, accumulate.
Sold all mine at close today so you can all look forward to a big gap up Monday morning!
Nonsense 😆
I would be amazed if we ever see 240p again.
There will have to be an almighty crash in oil and or the WD deal collapse, failing that, no chance IMO. But who knows.
@eggs At some point we will reach 340 and hopefully much more but its not going to be a straight line. And even if this were to be the absolute exception (which it wont be) I,m still holding a slab, so its win win. Averaging down is the way to exponential growth. GLA what ever and AIMHO
You will be waiting - Way better chance this share will hit 3.40 rather than your 2.40
@shaf - I also trimmed @ 289p prior divi and still expect sp retrace. todays increase is on back of very weak volume, the geopolitical noise / +ve WTI giving the up move. Fall back next week to 240s or if lucky 220. GLA LTH HBRs AIMHO

Didn’t think the Russians fell for the vaccine scam, jackabe. Very surprising
Was on the beer/vodka 😂 with a russian yesterday rookie
Not good triple boostered and whole life on an app
Worlds a stage ;-)
Pretty weak today. I was expecting well back up into the 90’s.
So I think we have roughly
Gas: 38k of Gas per day hedged at 67p so roughly 52k of Gas at 72p.
Oil: 20k oil per day hedged at 84$ a barrel and 70k per day at 90$ a barrel.
I think that right and if so not to shabby. Shame about WFT….
Iran heating up - she's gonna blow - must..have..inflation..
Why is Gas up nearly 10% today?
Any ideas?
Not complaining….
if i was short which i'm not why wouldnt i closet position and move it to other stocks while the mkts on the verge of collapsing
you lot waffle nothing but **** ;-)
"now this being the THIRD consecutive/back to back rapid Shorter reduction by GLG Partners LP (3, 4, and 5 April 2024)."
Shorts Closing, HBR Director's Buying, and as for today, UK & European Gas prices once again on the rise here with Brent also nicely trading at circa $90, now looking forward to the upcoming dividends followed by the 500,000+ bpd resulting Wintershall Dea mega merger by Q4 this very year!
Currently jus 3.5p lower on a 10p+ XD is way better than I was expecting, effectively it is 7p better than its theoretical level which augurs well going forward.
Onwards & upwards we hope...
Why "so" and not just "I'm expecting...."?
If US 10 year yeilds seller down and reverse $drops and oil can hold onto its gains
Then still cheap at these prices for a trade unless the mkts crash ;-)
